Knowing Our Purpose-Beauty For the Heart

Knowing-Our-Purpose-Beauty-For-the-HeartHere we are 2016! If you are like me, you have been thinking about the year ahead. One of the things I have been asking myself is “What is my purpose?”

What is it that God wants me to do in 2016? I love what Exodus 9:16 says, But I have raised you up for this very purpose, that I might show you my power and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.

We are here at this time in history to proclaim Jesus and to know his power! It’s that simple.

Sometimes we let past mistakes hold us back from fulfilling our purpose. We can’t imagine God could use us in spreading His love. We have feelings of guilt but God does not want us to live defeated lives.

He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west. Psalm 103:12 I’m so thankful I’m forgiven!

Here are some of the people God used to proclaim His name and they weren’t perfect!

  1. Cyndi, I would like to be included in your bible study. Please let me know what I need to do to join. Thank you very much.

    1. Thank you so much for sharing that song… It is beautiful and brings such peace. I look forward to all your posts and especially love Sunday’s when you share a song video

  2. I would love to sign up for your Bible study. I must wait till I return to Michigan from Massachusetts on Tuesday. I am so looking forward to it.

  3. Everyone has the same purpose. ..to love God with all your heart, soul and mind and to love your neighbor as yourself. God doesn’t really care how we go about it as long as we are doing it.
I wonder if our time is better spent reading ,studying the Bible and learning what it means to accomplish these commands. No disrespect to you Cyndi, but it seems like finding your purpose is more worldly, man centered and “self helpy” than Godly.

  4. As always thought provoking. I need to sit still and listen. I have so much on my heart and wrapped up in “poor me” I forget to listen.
    Blessings.
    💗 Gerri

  5. Is the Bible study only going to be through Facebook? I’m interested in the study, but I don’t do Facebook.

    1. Cyndi, This was my question as well. FYI, I tried to privately message you regarding this question but it bumps me out of your page and won’t let me send. Not sure if this is a problem on my end or on your site. Have a very blessed Sunday!
