Happy hump day! Yesterday I decided to give my lace up flats a try. I wore them all day and they were surprisingly comfortable. (Probably wouldn’t be comfortable for women who need support.)
I shared this picture on Instagram yesterday before I headed out the door.
One of the spring trends in denim is a frayed hem. Now I know I could go cut the hem out of a pair of jeans I already have but I decided to purchase a pair.

Love everything! I have the same outfit before I seen yours! I have just ordered the lace up flats, I have some but fell in love with glamor farms so much more! Looking forward to the self-tanner blog. I always regret using self-tanner, because for the next few days afterwards, it comes off on my towels and stains them. Would love some advice about that.

I can’t wait to hear about the self tanner products you try. I have no trouble on my face. I have a little trouble on my arms and LOTS of problems on my legs. I can’t get it to look natural and it usually looks too orange.

Your open toe wedges would be awesome with this, or tan flats.
I’ve noticed for two days that your pictures have been blurry. I’m not sure if it is because I am using my cell phone instead of the computer. I have never had a problem in the past viewing the pictures on my cell. I know you said some changes are being made, so I wanted to let you know!

Don’t care for the shoes. The bulk at the ankle breaks the line of the leg. Cankles, anyone?
The outfit is cute but I don’t care for the shoes. I can’t stand pointed shoes. I’m looking forward to hear what you think about the self tanners. My experience is they turn orange even it says it won’t. I’m fair with pink undertones. I’m also looking for a good cream based foundation but it’s very important to me not to use products with parabens and chemicals. I emailed Bobbi Brown but have not received a reply and that was 2 weeks ago. I’m guessing they use chemicals and won’t answer my email. Stay safe in the weather that’s happening up your way. Sunny but windy here in east Texas.
Love this on you, but I doubt I would fair well in the shoes as very flat shoes kill my back. We have the wind/rain in Knoxville, TN too, and snow predicted for tomorrow. Did I mention I’m ready for spring too :).

Cute look! I especially love the leopard print sweater. I like the color of the shoes but not really the style. All that ankle stuff is chunky and breaks up the leg line, especially for a shorter person. Another reviewer suggested nude flats, and I agree.

The outfit was cute, but the shoes are not for me, I have thick ankles, and I just can’t get into pointed shoes, wish I liked these better because I also can’t wear flats, they slip off the back of my heel with EVERY step, so annoying. Think I am going to have to invest in a pair of converse sneakers, I think they would look good with this outfit also ( hint, hint).

Talk to me about the jeans. 😉 The reviews aren’t too good and the Nordstrom picture shows them on a thin, long-legged model. I’m 5’4″ with full/curves thighs and bottom. I typically wear a 4. Thoughts on whether these will work for me?
Yes! Nordstrom says to order down a size, but the reviews all say to order up. I’m confused.

I love the look! Would you consider showing us how to style some comfort – type shoes (shoes that are not completely flat and have some inner sole padding) that would fit in with today’s styles? I find it difficult to wear totally flat or more than 1/2 inch on concrete covered floors at work. Thanks for any suggestions/styling options you can offer!

Cyndi – Bare Minerals makes a great self tanner. It comes with an application brush which works great. No gloves to wear, no streaks and no yucky hands. It also scored low on the “think dirty” scale 😉 have a blessed day!
