9 Spring Essentials

27 Days of Spring FashionIt’s hard for me to believe that our 27 Days of Spring Fashion begins tomorrow! Over the last month, I have been looking at spring essentials.

These are items that I want to add to my spring wardrobe like a spring handbag, cute sneakers, and this year I purchased a new trench coat.

My trench coat is probably my favorite spring essential piece. I wear it with dress clothes but also with jeans and sneakers.

Do you have a “must have” spring essential piece?

If you don’t want to miss a day of my 27 Days of Spring Fashion you can sign up to receive my daily emails and you’ll never miss a thing. I’m also on FacebookPinterest and my favorite one, Instagram.

Beauty For the Heart~~When I think of spring, I also think about spring cleaning around my house. Windows need to be washed, closets need to be re-organized and so on.

But what about a spiritual spring cleaning? With the change of a season, it’s a good time to evaluate our heart. Are we holding any grudges? Are we bitter, or hurt?

Psalm 51:10 says, “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” Let’s spring clean our hearts too!

Have a blessed day!

  1. I can’t wait for you and JoLynne to show us your spring fashions. I’ve bought a few things that you shared on your blog, for spring. I say this all the time but, you truly are such an inspiration.
    Let the spring fashions begin!!

    Have a blessed day!

  2. I love the idea of Spring Cleaning our spiritual lives! We all need to do that from time to time, what a great reminder. Thank you for sharing. I’m looking forward to the spring fashion posts you will be sharing.

  3. Bring on the bright colors! I wear lots of black and gray in the winter and I’m definitely ready for some color!

  4. Love your “Beauty for the Heart” today. My spiritual spring cleaning is Lent. (I know not all Christian churches recognize Lent as a season in church. Mine does and I find it such a blessing.) It is a time of intentional preparation for Easter. It means looking in those dark corners of our heart that we don’t really want to deal with. As I have grown in my walk with Jesus, Holy Week specifically is just awful for me. I can honestly feel the cross bearing down. Then we get Easter morning and there is so much relief and JOY. My prayer is that all Christians take some time and clean out some spiritual cobwebs. XOXO

  5. more than READY for Spring! It was comfortable walking in to work this morning without my coat :). The sun is shining, birds are singing and yep, it’s time to shake off all the black wardrobe. Looking forward to what you have in store for us.

  6. I can’t wait to see what you and Jo-Lynne share with us for Spring. I have done a little shopping for the upcoming warm months, but won’t do much more until I see what I have stored in the attic. As a retiree, I don’t need as many pieces as those in the business world.

    Have a blessed day!

  7. Hi Cyndi,
Can’t wait to see your Spring fashions with Jo-Lynne! I know you both will style your outfits beautifully and I know I will love them and order a few online. God bless you both!

  8. I also consider a trench a spring necessity. Besides throwing it on over a skirt or dress, I wear it with jeans, tee and converse when I walk the dog

  9. Im so excited to see what you & Jo-Lynne have for us!! I’ve even held off Spring shopping, waiting to see what you’ll both be styling. I’d have to say my favorite spring essential pieces would be a light rain jacket & waterproof shoes/boots! Although with the mild winter we had here in Northeast PA, we won’t be having the spring mud we normally have. Since I’m in a rural area, a lot of family & friends don’t have paved drives, so I find myself in mud a lot. And you know those April showers! I like my jackets light, just enough to keep the rain off, since I run “warm” all the time. I have a pair of waterproof clogs called Sloggers, as well as mid rise boots from LL Bean. My new rain jacket I just purchased, is packable & came from Lands End. I choose packable, as we travel to Maine 3-4 times a year & our grandkids also participate in outdoor sports. I can just leave it in the car for when I need it. Have a wonderful day!
