27 Days of Spring Fashion: Graphic Tees

Welcome to my 27 Days of Spring Fashion! This has been a crazy, busy week and I’m thankful it’s Friday! Yes!

If you get my emails, you know we have bought a house and are moving in May. (I typically share a little more behind the scenes in my emails, if you want to subscribe to them go here.) So, as you can imagine, we have a lot to do between now and then.

One of the things I need to do is pick out my paint color. I am going to paint one color throughout most of the house. I want it to be light and then I’m going to add color with my accessories. I have already called my sister for help!

Anyway, today I’m styling some graphic tees. I love graphic tees!! I typically don’t wear a lot of t-shirts but if they have a cute message on them, count me in.

I have wanted the Coffee and Jesus tee forever because it pretty much sums up my life.

27 Days of Spring Fashion: Graphic TeesRuby’s Rubbish T’s are made and designed by two of the sweetest girls and I met them on my trip to Dallas in February. These are their own trademarked designs they have come up with “at the kitchen table”.

You will notice an adorable tag on the back of each Ruby’s Rubbish t-shirts; this lets you know you’re getting an authentic piece of Ruby’s Rubbish!

I love this next tee too! Sorry my pictures are a little blurry. I would fire my photographer but since it’s my husband, I’m going to have to keep him. He’s definitely getting a pay cut. Ha!

27 Days of Spring Fashion: Graphic TeesI’m wearing a Fitbit Alta. I like wearing a fitbit, it just doesn’t go with all my outfits. I know, I’m weird.

27 Days of Spring Fashion: Graphic TeesThis one has the Ruby’s Rubbish on the side of the tee.

27 Days of Spring Fashion: Graphic TeesThis is a great layering tee!

  1. Oh nuts the jeans are sold out in the 7. Do you know if they restock their stuff? What size do you wear in Loft jeans? Not sure if I need the 7 or 5 in GF.

  2. Life got in the way of me placing an order early with GF for the graphic tee. It sold out, so I’m hoping they restock it!

I hope you’ve made good headway in changing over your clothes!

  3. Even if Wayne takes a pay cut he will still have you. I’m sure he feels that is payment enough.
Beautiful describes you ,but I don’t think the word mess ever could. Love both shirts. Good luck with your new home.

  4. I really like these posts. Regarding your paint colours… be sure to get sample pots and paint big poster boards and see how the colours look in different rooms at different times of the day. Just because it looks good in your old house or someone else’s house doesn’t mean it will complement your new one. I’d also encourage you to take over a rug or picture that represents the colours in your furnishing, etc. It’s much easier to pick paint to go with your furniture than buying all new furniture to go with your paint! I can’t wait to see it. Please show some befores!

  5. Hi Cyndi,
Such a cute look, I’m not a t.shirt lover but will wear a slogan tee if I find one I like, I also prefer the baseball 3/4 length sleeve look. This would make a great outfit for moving house in.
We have just had our planning through to build a new house to our design on some land we bought last year, it’s going
To be a long long Summer, I can’t wait for the time when I start to plan colours, I have chosen my kitchen already yay. At the moment my OH is out with the builder marking out the house with posts, I’m inside in the warm, it’s freezing today.
    Happy Friday
    Nicky 😀

  6. Moving how exciting! I’ve moved many times through the years for my husband’s career. Now retired, I’m hoping for one more move….weird I know!
First day of spring, very special to me as its my grand-daughter’s birthday! Four years old already a big girl 🙂
    Have a great day

  7. I too LOVE graphic tees & yours are adorable! And you look 17! So excited about your move & can’t wait to hear more about it. Although your current home in incredible! Have a blessed Friday!

  8. I really like these jeans. And of course I like the t-shirts too! But I’m hesitant to order because I think they will be too long on me. It is so hard for me to find short jeans!! I love the length of these on you but on me they would have about 3 inches munched up at the bottom! 🙁

  9. My husband bought me two Ruby’s Rubbish tees in December. One was for our anniversary and one was for Christmas! I have the black and white baseball tee with “Y’all need Jesus” and a merlot tee with “blessed” on it. Love them both! He did a great job.:-)

  10. That baseball T is so cute!!! I love t-shirts…on other people. HA! I actually just came to the realization that I’m just not a t-shirt kinda gal this week when I was trying on at J Crew. I wish I was, but they don’t do a thing for my body type. (I’m short waisted and they make me look big through my middle) Oh well, at least I finally have accepted it and won’t buy anymore “to give away”

Good luck with the paint color!! I did one color in the whole house for the first time with our current home. We used Latte by Sherwin Williams. I had 2 friends who had used it all throughout their homes and I really liked it. In hindsight I wish I’d gone a shade or two lighter. Just food for thought when you’re looking at paint chips. It’s so hard to visualize with a little, tiny paint chip. Can’t wait to see some pictures of your new home! (and paint color 😉 )

  11. Very cute tees and very cute you! Moving is a big deal, but I’m sure with Jesus you’ll be taking it step by step and before you know it you’ll be moved in. That is exciting! Have a great weekend and be sure to take care of yourself through all the busyness of packing. – Amy

  12. Very similar quote on a small cute canvas at Hobby Lobby! Maybe your source did those too?
Fun and true message of things we NEED ! ☺️

  13. I enjoy your blog every day. I’m curious if you wear a self tanner? You look so tanned even in the winter.

  14. Does anyone remember when Chucks were just cheap $15 basketball shoes? hahaha I am seeing some online for over $100! Wow!

  15. Whoa Cyndi, you just nailed me with the Coffee and Jesus Tee! I could just photoshop my face into your picture because that exactly describes my life!! Love it!
    xx-S
ps looking forward to the collab on Monday!

  16. Hi Cyndi,
Love the graphic tees. My favorite is the first Raglan Tee. You style is sooo cute! It would make a perfect “Day at the Park or Fishing Day” for me!!God Bless and prayers for you all on your move, we’ve lived here in KY for the past 19 years. I love the mountains, and the great shopping city of Lexington and New Circle Rd or Sir Barton Way!

  17. I never ever wear tees like these…. but these are adorable! I’m definitely getting one! I will be praying for your move! That’s always a stressful time… In times like those my husband and I always remind eachother…. “If it won’t matter a year from now…. it’s not worth much of our energy!” There’s been times when we’ve had to extend that thought to, “If it won’t matter in eternity…” 😊 Blessings! Krista

  18. Hi Cyndi love it blog and look forward to it everyday !Revere pewter by Benjamin Moore is a beautiful neutral !goes with many accent colors!

  19. Love the t-shirt. Several years ago I bought coasters…they are cork with black lettering that’s says…. All I need is a little bit of coffee and a whole lot of Jesus I use them daily… Love the saying

  20. I adore these tee shirts!! I’ve been looking at them on Glamour Farm’s website. Of course, both look great on you and how you’ve styled them. I’m not a big tee shirt wearer, but I would definitely wear these out while running errands.
Don’t stress out too much on your house. Have a great weekend!!

  21. Love the Jesus tee and noticed you have your Yeti for your coffee! Aren’t they the best??? A store here just got in pretty colored ones!
So happy for you guys about the new house and I’ll be sharing paint colors with you later today! 😊

    1. I was just going to comment on the yeti cup. My husband has had one for awhile and he just won the cooler. He is sooo excited 😂. I swear if I have to hear one more time how cold it keeps his drinks or how hot his coffee .lol.. Of course now I want one😏😉 I didn’t know they started making pretty colored ones. Thank you for sharing that!

      1. That’s why he finally got me one because he kept talking about how great it was. I was tired of hearing it and told him to just get me one. Ha!!
        Cyndi

        1. You girls crack me up! Look up the turquoise and the hot pink is cute too! There are several gals here that make a lazer cut monogram that fits on the yetis too! Another fashion statement Cyndi! I know how you love a monogram!😊

  22. Cyndi just curious what size your jeans are and how do they run? They are so cute but I hate ordering jeans online. I usually wear the curvy fit from Loft in a size 2 or 4 but have to go up if they aren’t curvy cut. I have a small waist just wider at the hips and usually wear an xs or s in tops.

    1. These are size 7 because they are the junior size. They are almost a jegging jean if that makes since. I wear these with tops I’m not going to tuck in because they have faux front pockets. But I love them when I’m wearing my top out.
      cyndi

      1. Where do they fit at the waist? I am tempted to order them since they look great on you and are at my price point. Underwear size 6 or 8 and 7 in juniors but sometimes have muffin issues if they’re to far below the waist.

  23. That is too cool .. I had just ordered that shirt from glamour farms yesterday .. great minds think a lot

  24. Such cute tees – and after a work week of work clothes I love a good tee on the weekend. Gonna check these out – may have to get one for my daughter too – she will love the coffe and Jesus one.
I replied on the house color above, and I’m also looking at the Revere Pewter for entire house. It’s a grey/beige and is soft but goes with everything. I definitely want to know what you pick as I have to pick in the couple of next months or so.
Thank you for all the messages and lovely styles you bring us. You have been a blessing in my life and I so look forward to your emails everyday.
    Hugs from Knoxville!

  25. Cyndi, I LOVE the Jesus t-shirt and will definitely be ordering one. Good luck with the move! You’re blessed to have a sister that is not too far away and is so good with decorating. I know Traci will be awesome help, especially since she knows you so well.

    God bless!

  26. Love the tees. Question about your Converse—are they comfortable and do they stay on? Do you wear no-show socks with them?

    1. Saw your question and thought I would chime in. I have the converse and they do stay on. I wear a no show sock and that makes them more comfortable to me. My experience with the socks is that I ordered Converse cut for chucks socks and you could totally see them so I tried some peds brand from Target and you can’t see them at all. Love my converse shorelines!!!!

  27. Love the t-shirts. Question about your Converse sneakers. Do you find them comfortable and do they stay on? Do you wear any no-show socks with them and if so, which brand of socks?

  28. Love the Tees! Such fun! Look at Benjamin Moore – Revere Pewter. Nice neutral Grey that can go warm or cool. Good luck!

    1. Love that color and considering that for all of my home as well as we are beginning a major kitchen/dining/livingroom and bathroom makeover – I think I’d rather move :).

  29. You are just the cutest thing! Love the t-shirts! My t-shirt would need to say ” I need lots of Coffee and even more JESUS”
You know, both of these outfits are adorable for packing! LOL! I don’t envy you, but am excited for you and this new
chapter in your life! I mentioned to you (as I am sure you remember)….My hubby, pastor, is finishing up at our church
of 26 years to an new adventure here in Indiana. We were sent 26 years ago by our denomination PCA to plant churches
in Indiana. There were 2 and now are 12, so God has been gracious. Now to move forward as empty nesters. (we have
4 sons, so I can relate to your sweet sis on that level). Tim will be hired by our Presbytery to help our daughter churches
and other ministries move to the next step of. growth and refinement. Please pray for us.
I am excited for you and your hubby as your move will open up new opportunities for ministry for you as well as a new
haven to regroup. I am praying for you today. Thank you for blessing me and so many, Cyndi! If you are ever in the Indianapolis
    area….Ha!
