Mother’s day usually makes me a bit sad since I lost my mom in 2001 – way too soon – she was 56. But the other night I was quietly thinking about Mother’s day, and I realized that since I am a mother too, I shouldn’t be sad at all. Yes, I miss my momma with all my heart, and it still brings tears to my eyes when her memories flood me, but my daughter has a momma – ME! She is such a blessing. So this year I choose to be glad, happy, excited to celebrate with the girl who loves her momma – my girl – who is 24 but will always be my baby :).
Happy Mother’s day to you Cyndi and to all your followers who are also moms. Our time here is so limited so let’s not be too busy to stop and enjoy what really matters….”the greatest of these is LOVE” – which afterall is the very best gift. Hugs from Knoxville!

Thank you Cyndi for all the “pre-shopping” you do for us gals! I love every item you have shown! Like the idea of an e-gift card, as I’m a big online shopper. We always like to get a little something for our adult daughters. This year I was able to purchase one daughter another pair of earrings that were just like the pair she lost one of in NYC. She’ll be thrilled, as they were her favorite. For our other daughter, I purchased a hair tie braclet. She has long hair and always has a black hair on her wrist. As she is in a professional setting, I thought the bracelet would have a more professional look than that plain old band! And they always like their gift card for a pedicure! Like you, I miss my mother terribly. She passed away a number of years ago, right after her 73rd birthday, and a 5 year battle with breast cancer. But I’m happy in the thought knowing I’ll see her again when I get to my heavenly home! Sending out Happy Mother’s Day wishes to you!
