Update Your Summer Wardrobe With Jewelry

Let me first say thank you for your sweet comments on yesterday’s post. I read every comment and I can’t tell you how much they all meant to me. I wish I could hug each of your necks!

I am a huge Baublebar fan and I love adding their jewelry to my outfits! These bracelets are from Baublebar and I wear this set all the time. The ring can be purchased from Baublebar too!

Update Your Summer Wardrobe With JewelryThese earrings are my favorite way to add a pop of color to my outfit. I love them!

Update Your Summer Wardrobe With JewelryI like to layer necklaces and both of these are from Baublebar. The long necklace only comes in the tortoise color now but you can find the bar necklace here.

  1. Cyndi – Really enjoyed the video and the message was wonderful! It makes my heart sad that so many in churches have a hard time forgiving and forgetting past sins. Such a challenge to be like Christ and really and completely forgive each other and ourselves. God forgives our sins and remembers them no more – we need to be more like that. It’s so difficult to get past the past when we are reminded of it constantly. Praying that we can ‘grip His hem’ and be more like Him! Thanks for sharing your heart.

  2. What a blessing you’ve been to so many people by sharing your heart publicly. It touched me deeply. I’ll be making some little cloths as a reminder to Grip His Hem. I also enjoyed seeing your church where we were members 43 years ago! Blessings to you and your family.

  3. Your Beauty for the Heart was so fitting given yesterday’s video. I watched it this morning while getting dressed for work. Humility was what all those folks needed as they judged your forthcoming marriage. My heart just sank listening to all that. I am quite sure that Jesus put you through that trial to be the LIGHT you are. I am a Christian today (finally turned to Christ at 37) because of people like you–real, trial-trodden, humble, and forgiving of others’ judgements. You will reach so many more with your story, and that’s why you’re here. Plus you’re a darn good fashion blogger 🙂

  4. Cyndi, I just wanted to let you know how special your message was to me. I have struggled tremendously with my past sins, constantly struggling with my shame and guilt. I love your reassurance that we are not defined by our sin, but by the Love of our precious Savior. Thank you for having the courage to speak and for letting us witness your powerful, heartfelt message.

  5. Cyndi,
Your talk touched my heart. Thank you for sharing it! I’m a divorced mom of 2 (going on year #6 of being on my own) & wow has it been one tough journey. You were a great encouragement before just via your daily blog posts, but with this added story you have doubled that encouragement! God gives so much grace & as you well know he uses trials for good. Your willingness to let him use you has at least twice now brought some healing of my heart.

  6. i have loaded yesterday to my vimeo.comaccount to see if it will be any easier to play on it . on this website I am constan have. I feel it is doing something to my ability to enjo your ebsite.

  7. I love the earrings… But I have never worn a chocker necklace. I feel like jewerly is the icing on the cake and completes the outfit

  8. Thank you for your testimony really enjoyed your life story. We serve a great God and what a joy to see the many ways that God is using your life. Thank you for taking time to share.

  9. Cyndi, I didn’t get to listen to the entire video of your testimony until late yesterday afternoon. I wasn’t able to be at church yesterday morning and felt a little irritated at myself for not watching the sermon live online, too. But….your testimony was the perfect word for me. Jesus spoke directly to me through you. I may have missed out on church but I was still sooooo blessed!
Btw, the blue color is definitely your color!

  10. Yay.. I’ve loved that ring since I saw it on you in previous posts! I am marking that website to my favorites now 🙂 It is so fun playing with color for summer! The color combos are refreshing and endless. I just left a post on your Mother’s Day sermon (on the actual post for that day). I usually keep my necklaces somewhat longer, but it may be because I feel heavier when they are shorter on me. You can wear anything and look beautiful! It’s always fun to try new things. I meant to tell you how much I loved your hair in your video. Mine is similar but I think I need to tweak it some after seeing yours LOL. adorable! xo

  11. Cyndi,
I didn’t get a chance to listen to your testimony until last night then stayed up late doing so. Thank you for being vulnerable. We all have things in our past that we have to overcome and for which we need to grip His hem. I’m so greatful that Wayne was able to put aside the naysayers’ words and follow God’s leading.

  12. Seeing your picture made me think of a question…I often see on websites the models wearing their shirt tucked in in the front and hanging out in back. Is that just to show off the pants they’re wearing? Or is this a way to wear to your shirt to look more tailored?

Curious about this trend I’ve been seeing. Thanks.

  13. I love the top you’re wearing. The color looks great on you too! I used to wear chokers but feel more comfy with a looser necklace now. I feel like I’m choking with a more fitted necklace on. I guess that’s why they’re called Chokers…lol

  14. Thank you so much for overcoming your misgivings and sharing your sermon – it truly resonated with me as a divorced women carrying a lot of guilt! I was lucky enough to find a wonderful man second time around, but the guilt often resurfaces as my husband and my daughter from my first marriage just don’t get on – neither seems to be able to see just how lovely the other is. I trust that God has a plan for us and will show us the way. I love your posts even though I’m in England. By the way, I thought your accent is beautiful!!

  15. Thank you so so much for sharing your testament !! I just watched it this morning. Thank you!God uses each of us and I know you reached many yesterday with your story and journey. God bless!!

  16. I agree wth the previous post. I love the jewelry and will be placing an order. I absolutely love both of the tops you are wearing they are such pretty colors. Where are those from?

  18. I very much enjoyed your talk from yesterday—as a divorced woman, I felt so ashamed for so long. Luckily I met some fabulous women along the way who brought in a different perspective and made me realize that this one event does not need to mar us from a happy & fulfilled life.
As for the jewelry—Baublebar is one of my favorites, since they seem to have some great sales! I’m actually wearing a choker necklace right now—it’s an old one of my mom’s!!

  19. I didn’t have a chance to comment yesterday. I drove my husband to the airport early in the morning and listened to your video on my way home. It really blessed me. I was reminded once again of all the lord has carried me through myself and the burden of shame he has lifted from my shoulders. It got me so stirred in my spirit that I was able to share with some new believers at church later that morning my own journey. It was very powerful.

Thank you so much for your testimony. Your husband is truly blessed to have you and your children as his family. I have sons and would be blessed beyond words to have them find such a wife.

  20. Chocker necklaces add something close to face which is helpful at times. Also, if I have a top that is open at neckline a chocker necklace adds a lot. So…yes I like a chocker necklace but I do find them harder to handle than the long ones.

  21. I use to love choker necklaces until a male friend on fb asked me if I showing my submissive personality…what??? I haven’t worn one since then…it made me feel weird…needless to say, I’m not friends with him anymore. A 16 inch necklace is as tight/short as i go in necklaces.

  22. All of the jewelry is very pretty Cyndi! I do like some choker necklaces, but my preference is the longer ones.

Good luck with the closing today and the rest of the move.

    God bless!

  23. This is a little off subject, but I’m wondering what you think about the Alex and Ani brand Of jewelry. My sister recently introduced me to the brand and after checking some of the jewelry out, I was a little confused. The cards that are included with the bracelet seem to be a little new age. They seem to talk about diving into your “inner strength”, “inner peace”, etc. Am I overreacting or have others noticed the same thing ?

    1. I agree with you, but I have four that represent my hubby’s and my life..love, music, my initial, and one birthstone one since we have the same birthday month. I just wear them for what they mean to me. I am a big Bauble ar fan.

    2. Kim I only have an initial Alex and Ani bracelet. I agree that some of their stuff sounds new age. There are so many products these days that do that. I ignore it!
      Blessings,
      cyndi

  24. As a fellow pastors wife, I so appreciated your openness and vulnerability on the video yesterday. I remarried after my first husband died…about 4 1/2 yrs later. I cannot imagine what you must have gone through. It was scary for me wondering not only if his family, but his church family would accept me. After all, they had lost their beloved pastor’s wife to cancer and they had no idea who I was.
But as always, the Lord went before and paved the way. I am so thankful for how they have accepted me…and show their love to me.
You encourage me to keep on keeping on and to be a better me. Hopefully even though I’m older (69 this yr) I will also keep progressing. I pray that the Lord will continue to use me and teach me, all the days of my life.
I love Lexington ; it was here the Lord first sent me to work with the Navigators on the UK campus.
I shared part of your points with one of the ladies at church last night; she is having trouble when something from her past pops up. Hope you don’t mind if I borrow your object lesson of gripping His hem for one of my talks with our ladies. I always have something for them they can hold onto and take home.

  25. Love Baublebar ! I just bought some stuff from there! They had spend $40 get a free necklace! Love their promos!

  26. As much as I like this jewelry, I really like the aqua top you are wearing. Where did you find such a lovely gem? Love the color and style.
