Fall Fashion-Statement Accessories

I can’t believe today is the first official day of fall. I wish it was cool enough to wear some of my fall clothes! Today I’m sharing some statement accessories to add to your fall wardrobe.

First, let’s talk jewelry. There are a lot of cute trends in jewelry this year. Chokers, chandelier earrings and tassels are a few things that are trending.

Another trend that’s popping up everywhere is statement necklaces. I added this statement necklace from Nordstrom to a simple green sweater.

Fall Fashion-Statement AccessoriesI’m wearing Wit & Wisdom jeans from Nordstrom. They are a great dark denim jean and they are priced at $64.

Fall Fashion-Statement AccessoriesAnother statement trend you can add to your fall wardrobe is a saddle bag. Nordstrom has a great selection of saddle bags at all different price points. If you are looking for handbags under $100 Nordstrom has a great selection here.

Beauty For the Heart~~God is not as interested in who we were as he is in who we can become.

Philippians 3:13-14 say this (taken from The Message Bible), I’m not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don’t get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back.

  1. So beautiful Cyndi that you dedicate this to your Mom. Until you see her again, I am sure she’s looking down so proud of who you are and how you continue to inspire others, not just with fashion but with your love for Jesus. I love your blog. Thanks for inspiring me and helping me to look my best!

  2. Love everything about this outfit… the top is very Fall-ish for this First day of Fall and perfect with the dark jeans and boots… I also wore dark no hem jeans today… they seem to be my favorite pair for the start of Fall. You look very stunning in this outfit and love the great shooting from your hubby, right? He is improving and doing an awesome job!!!He’s got some talent! God Bless….

  3. I just found your lovely blog! I was searching ‘fashion over 40’ (well, for me it’s actually 50) and clicked on your link. I love that gorgeous statement necklace and the jeans as well. The skinny jeans are dark enough to dress up or down, and would be great tucked into boots. Do they have plenty of stretch as to be comfy? I have a pear shaped figure so I have trouble with most jeans. Sometimes I luck out for my hips with styles labeled ‘curvy’, but then the waist ends up being too large. I shop at Nordstrom all the time (waiting on a package from them right now!). They have the best selection and wonderful customer service. I’m signing up to follow you by email!

  4. Such an adorable fall outfit! Love everything about this 🙂 Statement necklaces are so fun! Love those boots and purse. Hope you are having a blessed day Cyndi!! xo

  5. Love love the outfit I to have necklaces like your way to many. But I love and wear them.. I like your boots. The back ground of your pic’s is very pretty. Thank you for sharing!!

  6. I adore statement necklaces and am glad to hear they’re still on trend for this season; for some reason I had thought dainty necklaces were in. So glad I have you to keep up for me!

  7. I love necklaces like this…I used to have problems spending the money that they cost, but after buying one and wearing it – a lot – I realized how much it can dress up an otherwise blah blouse, sweater or shirt. I work with a lot of millenials and let me tell you…these young women rock the statement necklaces.

  8. Cyndi,

Loving the statement necklaces as well! What a beautiful church, is this where your husband is a Pastor?

Thanks for starting my day off right with a little fun and inspiration, I open your blog first every morning.

  9. I love the purse. I am picky and practical about purses. I usually buy just a couple for each season because I do not like to switch items out to another purse all the time. I find one that will go with anything I am wearing. Thank you for the ideas. Blessings today.

  10. Love the sweater!

I have a fabulous statement necklace from J Crew which I enjoy wearing. What I especially like is that it is asymmetrical. Drives my OCD friend nuts!

    1. Cyndi, you now have the “Jennifer” cut for those of us who were Friends watchers. I so remember wanting my hair just like Jennifer Anniston’s, and now just like yours. Although for me that will never happen as my hair is way too thin and fine – HA! You are blessed with beautiful hair and yes, we are envious…yeah, I know, that’s bad, but we are human :). Your stylist should name your cut “the Cyndi” :). Love it!!!!

  11. What a great sweater and necklace! I checked the size on the sweater and it’s already sold out in my size as well as others.-sad! Thanks for showing it tho!

  12. I have several like that, I Love them. Also, like the light weight sweater, perfect for cool mornings or days ahead, Yea !! lol No, I Love Fall colors, and the beautiful colored leaves. Thank’s !!!
