Yesterday after church we took a Sunday afternoon drive. I love a Sunday afternoon nap but this time of year we like to drive around and look at the fall foliage.
We also have a Cuban pastor staying with us and we wanted to take him to some beautiful areas in central Kentucky.

I have that same peplum top & it is my go- to top in the Fall in between weather in Mississippi. Now that it is getting colder I will layer with a jacket I guess. You look great in the top!

Hi Cyndi. Love your outfit. I’ve been looking for a trench coat similar to what you are wearing. From all your previous posts, it seems like we are the same size. I would usually buy a size 6 in a coat like that and was wondering if it ran big or is more true to size.

what happened with the construction of the peplum to the bottom of the body of the garment ?? I cringe when I see critical comments on the blog but it is a distraction the way the stripes line up. or is it just from the point of view of one who sews ??
Today’s bag is sold out. I liked it a lot. Has anyone seen a reasonably priced large leather brown bag? I prefer real leather, but they can be very expensive.
I just checked on that bag myself and was disappointed it’s not available. Jessica Simpson has some really great leather handbags at fair prices. “Fair” meaning a price that’s slightly higher but I’m willing to pay if I’m certain I’ll get LOTS of use out of it (black or tan). Her bags are usually a good size, too. Happy purse shopping!
