A Hooded Vest for Fall

Happy Friday! The weather has turned cool and we are headed to the pumpkin patch tomorrow. This hooded vest is perfect for some outdoor fall activities.

It comes in two colors, the olive (I’m wearing) and a black. The vest has an attached hoodie and I’m wearing a medium.

Do you have anything fun planned this weekend?

I’m so honored that you have taken time out of your day to stop by my blog. If you don’t want to miss a post, you can sign up to receive my daily emails and you’ll never miss a thing. I’m also on FacebookPinterest and my favorite one, Instagram.

Beauty for the Heart~~“The God who made the world and everything in it, this Master of sky and land, doesn’t live in custom-made shrines or need the human race to run errands for him, as if he couldn’t take care of himself. He makes the creatures; the creatures don’t make him. Starting from scratch, he made the entire human race and made the earth hospitable, with plenty of time and space for living so we could seek after God, and not just grope around in the dark but actually find him. He doesn’t play hide-and-seek with us. He’s not remote; he’s near. We live and move in him, can’t get away from him! Acts 17:24-28 (MSG)

God in his perfect plan, created each of us. He loves us and he wants us to know Him. It’s a beautiful thing!

Have a blessed day!

  1. I ordered this vest and loved the color and the attached hood. It arrived today, and I was super disappointed when I tried it on. It runs super small. I ordered a large judging by the way the medium fit you in your pictures. It didn’t even come close to zipping! I can usually wear tops in a small or medium. I am 5’6″ tall and wear a size 10 in jeans. Now I have to pay to ship it back, and I cant get a refund, just a gift card. This is the first time I ordered from Glamour Farms, and I don’t think I would order from them again. I think I will stick with Nordstroms.

    1. Hi Linda,
You can get a refund from Glamour Farms. 1-7 day it’s free shipping and a refund. 8-14 days you pay shipping but you still get a refund.
After that it’s a gift card.
      Hope that helps!!
      Cyndi

  2. New to your site, but I’ve been looking at all your fashion and I love it! I love your style because it’s very “real” for us everyday folks. Your style is exactly what I would wear in everyday life. Some very classic and others simple but classy. Very easy to copy. I especially love the encouraging words at the end from God’s Word. Thanks Cyndi!

  3. Hi Cyndi, I am in the UK & love your blog, the lovely outfits you put together give me great inspiration!
I like the booties you wear in this post, Glamour Farms – Heather. I would like to order some from them (hoping I will look as good in mine as you do in yours!) but I am a little unsure about what size to order. The US equivalent of my size is 9, but I can sometimes vary depending on the brand, usually between an EU 40 / 41. I would like to know if you think the boots come up large or perhaps a little small so I can have a guess at which size would be best for me?
Many thanks, keep up all that inspiration, kind regards, Martina.

  4. Love the vest and in that particular color too, as you know I love to wear the earth tones. I’ve yet to find something in the mustard color that suits me and Fall is almost gone. I’ve missed a few of your blogs, have you styled a mustard yellow blouse? By the way, You are looking very cute in this vest !

  5. Hi Cyndi,
Would you mind sharing what size you’re wearing in the Harper Mainstay top? I can’t decide between small and medium. According to their size chart I would normally choose medium, but I see that all of their models are wearing smalls and they are curvy. Trying to get the right size first time…hoping to avoid having to make a return or exchange. 🙂

  6. Hi Cindi, for some reason I’m not getting notifications of a new blog post nor am I seeing your IG posts. I used to get emails when you posted but haven’t for about a month now. I’ve re=signed up to get the emails but still not getting them. Do you know if anyone else is having this problem or what I can do about it? I really enjoy seeing your outfits.

    Thank you!

  7. Like the whole outfit a lot looks very nice. You talk of a shaper what kind name brand? I have some I’m constantly pulling them down they ride up my back. Thank you. Enjoy your day with your family tomorrow. 😊

  8. You look extra super cute today!! These colors look great on you ~ and the outfit is perfectly football fall game watching ready!!

  9. I have thought about how long I have been on your blog, now I know. I rem last fall you talking about the pumpkin patch. How fast time goes, nearing a new year !

  10. This is a great outfit and could be changed in so many ways to look different. To agree with someone else, your hair is amazing! Hope you’re having fun in Nashville, and enjoy your family time when you return.

  11. When I was in Nashville last spring my favorite places to eat were cafe rakka(little hole in the wall, amazing!), chocolate covered strawberry and culverts frozen custard, all in Hendersonville.

  12. Cute fall outfit and perfect for the pumpkin patch! I’m taking my Granddaughters this weekend too! I was disappointed to see the handbag is already out of stock at Glamour Farms.

  13. How funny! I have this exact same vest on this morning. It was so strange to see your post with MY vest (haha). I’m wearing it with gray skinnies and a long sleeved black and grey striped tee. And a leopard belt. I’m mixing it all up and it looks good. Thanks Cyndi for your positivity. Have a good weekend.

  14. Just curious-why is your posts appearing in my email as “Grace and Amp”? I probably missed something.

    1. Alice Harper, I thing the “Amp” stands for ampersand (sp?) since her blog is Grace & Beauty…just a guess but I’ve noticed that on several occasions with other blogs.

  15. You mention the shaper tank underneath your top. Is this in place of a bra or are you just layering? Confused by all of the shapewear items on the market nowadays. I am not top heavy by any means but the shelf bra inside tanks is not enough for me.

    1. Sorry if that is confusing. I am wearing a bra. The shaper doesn’t have a bra with it. I like to wear a shaper with most of my tops, just for smoothing.
      Hope that helps!
