Happy Thanksgiving/Early Black Friday

Happy Thanksgiving! We have two Thanksgiving meals today so we will be pacing ourselves. Ha!

I love this holiday and while I miss my Mom, I’m thankful for my family and I treasure the times we can be together.

Happy Thanksgiving/Early Black Friday

Well, the Black Friday sales have started early! So after everyone leaves and if you’re not too exhausted, you can get a head start on your Christmas shopping.

I do 90% of my Christmas shopping online. I just don’t enjoy fighting the crowds anymore. I turn on some Christmas music, grab a cup of hot cocoa and shop (in my  pajamas of course!).

While I miss my mom so much, this being the first bug holiday without her, being in a cabin in the NC mountains, where it is very quiet and just the two of us, is making it easier.
