Spring Blazer and Cropped Flare Pants

Welcome back to my 27 Days of Spring Fashion! Today I’m styling a spring blazer with a pair of cropped flare pants. Cropped flair pants and jeans are popping up everywhere this spring.

My pink brush twill blazer is from Banana Republic and is almost sold out. It is on sale and it has great reviews. It’s the perfect spring blazer.

Spring Blazer and Cropped Flare Pants

My cropped flare pants are from Target and are a cute trendy pant but they don’t cost a fortune. These will be good to wear all spring and summer.

Spring Blazer and Cropped Flare PantsSole Society has the cutest handbags and this dusty blue one caught my eye. It also comes in a blush and taupe color.

I shared about these last fall and they are really good tee but they are a little pricey. I am not wearing a cami under this one because they are thick enough. They wash well and they don’t fade.

Spring Blazer and Cropped Flare PantsYesterday I shared this necklace and said the colors were off in the pictures. Here is a more accurate picture, I love this necklace because it has so many colors which means you can wear it with a lot of different outfit.

Spring Blazer and Cropped Flare PantsI wore this outfit to church on Sunday but I think it would also make a great work wear outfit.

  1. Beautiful outfit, Cyndi! And I loved seeing your church where we belonged when we lived in Harrodsburg so many years ago! Wonderful memories!

  2. Were you in Abingdon Va when these pictures were taken?! That’s my hometown and looks familiar! I follow your site daily and am so blessed by your posts.

  3. Cyndi this outfit is one of your best! You look stylish, classy, beautiful, and confident. You are definitely a blazer type of girl ….and the ankle length pants keep it youthful and trendy. LOVE this! (Ordering the pink blazer – already have the pants!) 🙂

  4. So pretty and classic. Just what I need to update my work wardrobe for spring. I especially love the pink blazer. Unfortunately it is sold out. I may even need to think about some new black heels. Thanks for all your inspiration.

  5. PS Could you think about doing a travel segment sometime, sharing places to visit for someone not from Kentucky and who might like to vacation in the area? I’m from Oregon and have never been to the Southern states. I’d love to visit sometime after my husband retires. 🙂

  6. I LOVE your outfit. I love the color of the blazer, but see its sold out. I ordered the navy one from Loft you styled last Spring and wear it with the blush pants you styled last Spring also from Old Navy. I was already thinking with the weather we are having lately, it would be a warmer option to wear for Easter this year. Our weather right now is sooo cold with rain and snow mix on and off, its hard to even try to dress Spring. I tried this morning to head to bible study and by the time I did errands, I froze to death. 🙂 Love all the options for colors in the pumps. The black and white check are adorable, but I just can’t do that high a heel anymore. Thanks for sharing such a well thought out put together outfit. 🙂 I am thinking of ordering the blue purse. I just love that blue and the blush this year. Your blog is killing my budget. Ha Ha

  7. Love this outfit. Would be great for work accept that I work at a catholic hospital and we have to wear trouser socks, panty hose or leggings. How would you match that up with these pants?

  8. I am loving the cropped pants trend!! I just saw a segment on the Today Show on how to style cropped pants and you nailed it! They also paired them with a longer duster. So cute! I will be checking these out at Target!

  9. Cyndi, thank you for combining your talents of Grace and Beauty. We all need both. Your outfit is beautiful on you. I live in “small town America” as well. You church looks like the Presbyterian church here. I love the crosswalks, looks like Abbey Road in England. You are likely to young to remember the Beatles. You have a blessed day. Kathyrn

  10. You look wonderful in your outfit. I would wear the whole outfit to church as I am retired. It would also look very nice for a date night with my husband.

  11. Very classy & polished. Nothing better than a pink blazer with a white shirt!!! Thanks for sharing some good price points today as well.

  12. I’m still not getting your emails. I tried to relist my email address for your blog, but a bos came up stating it was already listed. Is there something else I need to do???

  13. Cyndi, What a beautiful outfit, from head to toe! And I love the Beauty For the Heart!

    Have a blessed day!

  14. I love this outfit Cyndi! I am a huge fan of blazers. They are great for my day job as a teacher and also work well for speaking engagements with Monat. I just tried to order it and it was already sold out. Darn! Maybe I’ll be able to find something similar somewhere. Let me know if you come across any.

  15. Love this outfit, it looks great on you! I’ve been wanting to wear a pink top with black slacks also. Have a great day!💕

  16. Perfect work outfit and you look beautiful, classy and chic. I like that you wore the white tshirt to let the blazer and necklace pop with color!

  17. Very nice outfit head to toe! I have ordered two of the Tapered tees, and like you I like them. I have found however that the black one has faded a little and has gotten that “chalky” look that darker clothes can get. I even washed it inside out and didn’t let it dry completely in the dryer. That being said, I still like the fabric and the fit is very flattering. Headed to Gatlinburg for work this week and may have to do some shopping in Pigeon Forge :-). I grew up in a small town in South Carolina – Aiken, SC. If you ever go there you will love it too. I miss living there.

  18. SUPER CUTE. You are adorable in this outfit. Love the pink and blue colors. This Spring I’m partial to the PEACH color that’s coming out in the stores. Mainly cause of my daughter’s wedding, but also because I love the light colors for Spring too. Not a fan of cropped pants, but am thinking on choosing a flare sleeve blouse. Looks like the styles of the past have come full circle once again… 🙂 God Bless you and Yes, I agree, I love my mornning alone time with the Lord.. or late evening too!

  19. Such a pretty outfit, I love the blazer! You have such a quaint town, we ate lunch and walked around while there in August. I love the history and small town USA feel. Enjoyed Shaker Village. Have a blessed day!

  20. Cyndi, you look absolutely beautiful! Pink looks so great on a brunette so, don’t you think? You hair always looks nice, but THIS is my favorite hairstyle that you wear! Thanks for reminding us how great the classics work!

    1. This comment is pretty much exactly what I was going to say. Especially the hairstyle part. 🙂 So cute!!

  21. You look fantastic from head to toe. As a pear-shaped lady, cropped pants are a “no-no”, but they look amazing on you. The blazer is sold out (bummer), but I will keep my eye on it to see if it comes back in stock.

  22. Cropped flare pants seemed counter-intuitive to me when I first tried them. Why would a short, apple-shaped woman go for a look that made her look shorter? And, like you, I found they are very flattering! Especially with a pump shoe. I love your pink blazer. Perfect for spring!

  23. Love this! I went online to order the blazer & the 8 listed as “just sold out”. Thanks for all the wonderful outfit ideas.

    1. Would love to see more blazer options in this color scheme. Agree, it is a PERFECT spring option. Thank you!

  24. This is such a pretty look, Cyndi!! I love that you are wearing a blazer—I’m a huge fan of them (especially after watching What Not to Wear for years!!) The color is so perfect for spring too!!
Thanks for showing the necklace again! I bet you’ll be wearing that a ton!
