Stripe Top and Olive Pants

Today Im sharing this stripe top and olive pants from Banana Republic. I had these pictures taken a few weeks ago when Jo-Lynne and I were in Nashville.

I love the outfit but I realized after taking the pictures that these pants were a little big on me so I would recommend sizing down.  I love the Avery pant and I think they are a great work wear pant for spring.

The Avery crop pant has a trouser fit through the hip and thigh that creates an chic tailored silhouette.

Spring Fashion-Stripe Top and Olive PantsI paired the pants with this stripe top that can be worn off the shoulder or as a boat neck top.

Spring Fashion-Stripe Top and Olive PantsSeveral of you asked what bra I wear when wearing tops like this. This is the strapless bra I wear and it’s pretty comfortable for a strapless bra.

Beauty for the Heart~~I was talking this week to someone who was struggling and finding it hard to be happy. I always tell them to write down their blessings. Sometimes we are looking at the ONE negative and forget to look at all the positives.

Many find it hard to see anything positive in life. If you are seeing the glass half empty instead of half full (and most of us do at some time) then these tips might help change your perspective.

  • Rejoice and be glad.
  • Focus on the positive and count your blessings.
  • Get proper rest.
  • Do something for someone else.
  • Listen to upbeat, happy music.
  • Exercise.
  • Take a little break and do something for yourself.
  • Claim the promises of God.
  • Immerse yourself in the word of God

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

Have a blessed day!
