Happy Father’s Day!

Today is not a usual Father’s Day for me. Since we are traveling out west, I’m not spending it with my Daddy. I hate that I can’t be there but I did get to talk to him and wish him a Happy Father’s Day.

Happy Father's Day!

We spent the last few days in Las Vegas and I’ll share more about it tomorrow. I was thrilled to meet a few ladies who read my blog. Wayne and I were walking through Caesars Palace and this sweet lady, Terri, came up to me and introduced herself. She was with her daughter and they were both adorable!

Another one of my readers emailed me and asked if Wayne and I would want to visit her church where her husband is a pastor. We had been looking for a church so this was an answered prayer.

The church is Canyon Ridge Christian Church and we had a wonderful time worshipping with them.

I snapped a picture with Lorelei after the service and I was so glad we got to chat for a few minutes. She’s a beautiful lady inside and out!

I know many of you have lost your earthly father and today is not an easy day for you. I’m praying for you but I hope you know that you have a heavenly father that loves you very much!

For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs. Zephaniah 3:17

Have a blessed Sunday!

  1. Thank you so much for sharing, I’ve just started following your blog and love it! You have a beautiful heart!

  2. I never knew my earthly father. Till I found out who he was he had passed away. The man who raised me with my mother, but didn’t adopt me, never treated me very well and was abusive. I struggle with this. Your so blessed to have a wonderful father.
I know my real Father in heaven loves me and I need to be reminded on this day, so thank you!!

  3. Oh how I love that song! I sing on our praise time at church and we sing this song quite a bit. Right now we are singing “King of My Heart”. It is a powerful song, too. This is a rough day for me since my dad passed 2 years ago. If you make it down to the Austin area, let me know. I would love to try to meet up with you and Wayne. Thank you for all that you do.

  4. How incredible that you were brought together with “friends by blog”! I think many prayers were answered! I loved this post today-you are always so truly full of light. Thank you for remembering those without earthly fathers and reminding us of our heavenly Father! Happy Father’s Day to all the “fathers” in your life! Thank you Cyndi!

  5. Thanks for remembering us today during your travels.,. How nice that you were able to meet up with fellow bloggers. I’m sure you have friends no matter where you are 🙂
