When you’re on vacation and traveling, it’s nice to have clothes that are comfortable and this casual dress is perfect for the sunny weather in Santa Barbara.
The dress comes in several colors and is under $50. We walked around town with my camera so I decided to carry my Brighton Bag.
My sandals are comfortable enough to walk over town!
The back of the dress is cut so that you do need a racerback bra.

Hi Cindy – I just love your style and how effortlessly you put things together! One big question though – can you start adding in some pieces you could find more inexpensively, say from TJ Maxx? Nordstrom is an awesome store, but a bit pricey for every day staples for a lot of us. Think it would be a huge blog booster!
Love your clothes ideas. On which social site do you blog your itinerary for your vacation? I ask because in 2018 my husband and I plan to visit Mt Rushmore and Yellowstone. Your blog might give us some insite.

Question. I love dresses and especially sundresses, but I don’t really have the figure to pull it off. I have very broad shoulders for a woman, and I’m not very “hippy”. I’ve been told I have a “manly” body, although I do have a large bust. I guess it’s because I’m very tall (5’9″) and there’s the too broad shoulders and no hips thing. My body would be described more as athletic than cute and curvy. So I am incredibly self concious about wearing pretty dresses.
My husband says I look nice and should just wear the dresses. But I fret.
Do you have any suggestions for what would look better on my unusual body type?
Or do I just wear the dress and ignore the comments?

Yes, a casual dress!!!. Absolutely love it:) the color and the way in which you have it styled. I don’t think there is anything any easier than slipping on a casual dress without worrying about matching a top and bottom and they are especially cool on those hot days. You can certainly dress this up or down and what a perfect choice for Santa Barbara. Nice choice.
