God Keeps His Promises

We are a forgetful people but God is not. He never forgets His covenants and reassures us with a rainbow that He always remembers.

God Keeps His Promises

God did not promise we will never experience storms, but He has promised He will be with us during them.

While there is a lot about this journey I don’t understand, one thing I know for sure, God keeps his promises.

  • God promised salvation to all who believe in His Son (Romans 1:16–17).
  • God promised that all things will work out for good for His children (Romans 8:28).
  • God promised comfort in our trials (2 Corinthians 1:3–4).
  • God promised new life in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17).
  • God promised to finish the work He started in us (Philippians 1:6).
  • God promised peace when we pray (Philippians 4:6–7).
  • God promised to supply our needs (Matthew 6:33; Philippians 4:19).

Have you been undone by the mercy of Jesus??

Have a blessed Sunday!

  1. Thank you so much for sharing this scripture today! I really needed this reminder. And the song is one of my favorites!

  2. He is so faithful! I don’t understand a lot of things either, but as some days it feels like our world is mess, He always seems to send a message that He is here and the one thing we can depend on!

  3. PRAISE GOD!!! He is ever faithful to keep His promises!! I wrote on your blog back in October about our 21 year old daughter being rediagnosed with Sarcoma cancer. Our precious Madison, our only child, went home to be with Jesus on May 8th. And while we are heartbroken and can’t even begin to explain how much we miss her, God kept His promise and she is completely healed and doesn’t have to endure pain and trouble and tribulation on this old earth anymore! Madison never gave up hope and her faith in God never wavered. She touched so many lives and won souls for Him along her short journey as she told others of Her Jesus!!! She was truly a blessing God allowed us to borrow for just a little while. But because He is faithful to His promises, we will see her again one day, sooner than most think.
I’ll share a link with you for you all to to see how our baby girl told others of Her Jesus!!!

    2. Oh my goodness. I have a 23 year old daughter and I can’t imagine your pain and loss. It’s through faith we make it through the hardest times. It sounds like she was a wonderful example and both of you have probably made a difference more times than you could know. What a testimony of faith!

    3. Oh my what a witness your daughter was and you also for sharing this and how in the midst of such a tragedy in your own life, you can see God’s promises to you and continue to trust HIM. I feel guilty for complaining of my day today when you’ve gone through so much. My friend just lost her 21 yr. old son to suicide this last May and I’m so thankful he knew the Lord and so does she, but still she’s struggling. Thanks again for sharing. Bless you.

    4. Thank you Gina for sharing your daughter with us. She has blessed me with every word she spoke! GOD bless you and give you and your family much peace and strength. In Christ, Carla

    5. Gina, thank you so much for sharing about your daughter and how much she did in her short life to spread the word of Jesus. Her message is a powerful one and it opens our eyes to see how precious each moment is in our lives and how important it is to allow God to use each one of us for his glory! May God bless and comfort you and your family and give peace that surpasses all understanding. In His name, Shannon

  4. So true Cyndi… I remind myself again why should I worry or fret? If we believe what he promises us we shouldn’t . Right? Thanks for sharing.

  5. Thanks Cyndi. I needed to be reminded. Struggling this AM with the hard times with my mom who has bad dementia. I need more patience with her.

  6. Thanks Cyndi! These are perfect words to hear especially when you are recovering from a major surgery!! God bless you with your challenges too!

  7. I needed this today. My mom was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer this past Friday. I am trusting Jesus to help us all through this difficult time and the hard days to come. Thank you for this timely message!

  8. Thank you Cyndi! Thanking God for His faithfulness, and what a comfort that is to me today!
