A Pop of Color For Summer

Happy Hump Day! I’m a huge fan of a pop of color and wedge heels so this outfit is a go-to outfit for me. Pink and red are my favorite colors and when I find a top that I like in one of those colors, I can’t resist.

A Pop of Color For Summer

This top is a soft, lightweight jersey material and the ruffles make it very feminine.

A Pop of Color For SummerMy necklace has some turquoise in it, I like mixing pink with turquoise.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m on FacebookPinterest and my favorite one, Instagram.

Beauty For the Heart~~My Mom has this written in one of her Bibles. “We have no control over how we die or when, but we DO have control over how we live. Our hope is in the Lord! We must live for Him and Him alone.”

My Mom lived that out. She didn’t have control over her death but her hope was always in Jesus. I’m so thankful for her witness.

Have a blessed day!

  1. Pink is a beautiful color on you and I love the pop of turquoise. Spring and summer are my favorite seasons!

  2. I just love your blog and your life philosophy. I really look forward to my inbox everyday to see the latest fashions. I do have to express though, I am a mom of three and a school teacher… I just love this pink top you are wearing and got so excite to see where it was from and the cost … I would have loved to wear this to work, however I can’t find it reasonable to spend 59.00 for one top. I would love it if you would also find some more “reasonably priced items”.. maybe $25-40 that are cute and fashionable but would be a bit more affordable for working moms. Thanks so much for considering….

  3. You look so pretty in that top & jeans. I, by the way, am in Prep week right now because of you. Gotta admit I’m slightly terrified but looking forward to the workouts. Been doing IF for years so that’s no problem. The counting macros is brand new and a little confusing but I will Master it. Thanks for all of the inspiration.

  4. You look great in the bright pink and the necklace looks awesome with it! With your dark hair you can wear the bright colors very nicely. My favorite season is definitely Fall. I do not like doing outside work that has me soaking wet from sweat in less than 5 minutes. And I am very hot natured now, so the warm months and I don’t get along too well. I hope you had fun at the Nordstrom event!

  5. That pink looks great on you! You look so trim and fit! Fall/Autumn is my favorite time of year especially here in Virginia.😀

  6. I love this top and it looks great on you! Turquoise is my favorite color. I think it goes with practically everything! Summer is my favorite season but fall runs a close second. I’m looking forward to seeing the fall clothes you’ve selected!

  7. Very cute outfit! I think I will order that top even though I don’t need it ha ha. I love the styles in tops right now… all the fun sleeves and ruffles, and other fun details! I’ve ordered so many of the tops you’ve shown lately and love them all! I understand many women want to see work appropriate clothes, but if you were to post heavily in that direction… I would be one reader who probably would stop reading…. Occassional work wear posts are nice, but everyone needs casual wear. Blessings Krista

  8. I love the Pink, but not fond of cold shoulder. It looks great on you! I’ve been traveling this summer, so I haven’t been studying any posts. You have really lost weight! I gained what you lost! I love the post about your mother, as always! I wish you would give us a Fall shopping list! I don’t do well without your direction!

  9. I love the color pink, but not the open shoulder styles. Could we see more casual business attire for the working gals?

  10. Such a cute top love the ruffles . Thanks for the beauty of the heart it’s so true. Didn’t receive an email yesterday are you still doing daily blogs? Summer is my favorite season with fall as a close second. The colors of the leaves are so pretty. … have a great day and happy scouting at Nordstrom.

  11. So pretty on you. Did you post yesterday, July 11th? Didn’t receive it. Thanks so much for the dear words from your mother. It was just what I needed to hear, as fear is creeping in as my mom’s dementia is getting worse and I’m loosing her mentally and it runs so heavy in our family and I don’t want to die that way. I am trying to live my life, trying not to worry about getting dementia, but its hard. Trying to focus on Jesus and like your mom said, “What we can control.” Thanks Cyndi and have fun at the Nordstrom sale. I was just there yesterday and saw all the staff working hard behind the curtains. I don’t like pressure when shopping, so don’t do early access. I did find a cute side tie tee at Loft to bring home. 🙂

  12. This top looks so much better on you than on the website. And I agree with everyone – Pink is definitely your color. You just glow!

  13. Hey Cyndi! Love, love, love that top. I just ordered it in pink and navy. Cant wait. Can i ask for prayers? Think im getting shingles. Going through a time of stress right now. I always love your daily devotion. You have a Godly heart!!! Dee

  14. Yes – pink and red are certainly your colors! You simply glow! I also love pink and it is one of the very best colors on me too.

  15. Great color on you Cyndi. I have a black blouse with the same ruffle detail on the sleeves that I found at Ross. My favorite season is Autumn and I am actually looking forward to it as I am not a fan of hot weather. ~Lisa~

  16. Pink is just a perfect color on you, Cyndi!!
And I’m glad to see you wearing the raw hem again. I just bought a pair of jeans when we went thrifting, and I was thinking I needed to shorten them. After seeing this outfit, I think I’ll just cut them off!!
Now if I could only get my mom (the 70+ model on my blog) and stepmom (the 60+ model) to try it out….
    XOXO
