Pink Top + Black Jeans

Happy Thursday! It’s not a secret that I love bright colors and this pink top from Halogen is perfect for a warm summer day. I added some statement earrings from BaubleBar.

My black jeans are older but these black jeans from Articles of Society are a great option.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m on FacebookPinterest and my favorite one, Instagram.

Beauty For the Heart~~1 Peter 3:3-4 says,  Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear— but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious.

But let the adorning be the hidden person of the heart……..the hidden person is who we are deep down. It’s who we are when no one else is looking.

For those of us who know Jesus, the hidden person is a woman who has been transformed from the inside out by God’s spirit.

2 Corinthians 4: 16 talks about the hidden person, Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.

Have a blessed day!

  1. Love your posts! Am I the only one disturbed by what I’m assuming is your purse left unattended? LOL! I think I would leave it next to your photographer.

  2. I too would love to know now that you are wearing your hair longer how your stylist cuts it and how you style. I am growing out my bob hair style and would love to have these tips when I need my next cut in s couple weeks. I have fine but thick hair like you. Love this color on you!! You look so awesome.

  3. Hi Cyndi,
Love this outfit and the coral/pink top is also one of my favorites. I also love your longer hair and would love for you to do a blog on the cut technique and how you style. My hair is fine but thick like yours and am trying to grow my bob out and would love to hear from you before I need next haircut, which will be soon. I didn’t get your email yesterday also.

  4. Looks great. So pretty on you. We are suppose to get more mild…..our usual for summer but we’ve been in the high 80’s and 90’s and I’m done with it. I’m ready for Fall weather and clothes for sure. 🙂

  5. Love the outfit and you look beautiful as always! I missed getting a post yesterday. I get concerned about you when you miss a day. But I know life happens, and you look wonderful and well. God bless you, dear sister.

  6. Good Morning Cyndi!

You look gorgeous as usual. Is the pink top a true pink or coral-pink?

    Thanks
    Gwen

  7. I love your longer hair….Do you have any advice on growing out thicker hair? Mine wants to react to humidity & bush. Did your hair stylist heavily layer it so it wouldn’t be so heavy? Thanks in advance – your hair is lovely!

  8. Loved that outfit, you look great. So I looked at the similar black jeans you had a link to and after reading the reviews I decided not to order them. So many complaints about the “smell”. It has to be the chemicals in the dye I would guess. Too many comments about that and women sending them back because they can’t wear them even after several washes. Weird, that was enough to make me say no, not going to risk it. I’ll keep looking for black jeans though because they are so cute.

  9. Hi Cyndi…..YOu look fab as always. I kinda made up the name slit shoulder for those kind of tops….love them too! I am gonna scoot over & see if they have those earrings and top in my size. Glad the weather is nice there , Mississippi is being rained on forever it seems. Walking is hard since it is hot & humid because you have walk in between showers. ugh! I noticed your hair is growing so long. I went to the one of the top 3 salons here Tuesday to a guy that colored & cut my hair. I was happy because I needed change – LOL!

  10. I think I tried that top on in an olive color but it was so big. I should have tried grabbing the next size down…if there was one. It looks cute on you and I love that bright color. (btw…one of the shoe links is going to the black jeans) Have a great day Cyndi!

  11. What a pretty top. I do not like the cold shoulder look at all but I might be willing to try this – what – “cool” shoulder? LOL.

Love the way it pops especially with the black jeans!

Love your scriptures today. My father, who passed away 6 years ago, would always tell me it’s not what’s on the outside but what’s on the inside that counts. God doesn’t look at us because we are pretty or rich or anything. He looks at our heart. One of the many things I loved and appreciated about my Father was his wisdom and love of God.

  12. Good Morning Cyndi . The top is so cute and a nice bright color, really like the detail bow. I must say I was more worried about your tory burch handbag sitting on the edge of the curb all by its lonesome. Wouldn’t want to lose that. Loved the beauty for the heart. So true, we really need to be focused on our inner self so it may be reflected on the outside and that Jesus will be seen through us. Have a great day:)

  13. Cute outfit! I love bright colors with black and those shoes are a great option for pre-fall. It’s still pretty warm in Texas so we need to ease into fall with pieces that aren’t too heavy yet. I usually start with 3/4 sleeves and some layering options so, if you can style some more light fall items, that would be great 🙂

  14. What a beautiful outfit on you Cyndi! The color of the top is a very flattering color with your complexion and darker hair.

    Have a blessed day!

  15. What a truly ageless outfit, Cyndi!!
My stepmom (the 60+ model on my blog) has been a huge fan of these block heels since she’s not a huge lover of high heels. She thinks the ankle strap really helps to make them easy to walk in because they stay put so well!!
    XOXO
