Thank you for taking time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m on FacebookPinterest, and Instagram.

Beauty For the Heart~~James 3:7-10 says, For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and sea creature, can be tamed and has been tamed by mankind, but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse people who are made in the likeness of God. From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so.

Let’s be careful with our words. Today make every effort to speak words of blessing!

Have a blessed day!

  1. You look beautiful today, as you always do. I just wanted you to know how much I appreciated your Beauty for the heart today.

Thanks for keeping us all on trend.

  2. Love the sweater on you. I had an embroidery shirt I wore the tail off this summer & got lots of compliments on. The only thing I don’t like about this one is the gray color. Grey is a blah color on me , but on you it looks great! Super cute with the red heels!

  3. I bought this sweater a few weeks back. Initially I thought I might return it as I have so much grey in my closet. In the end though the fit and embroidery made me keep it. It just looks so great with jeans or even a skirt. If I hadn’t bought it first, no doubt I’d be buying it now since I love most of the things you style! Also got some embroidered jeans at end of summer from WHBM and they are great!

  4. Those shoes really make the outfit. May I say it? Makes the red in the sweater POP.🇺🇸 Thank you for prayer requests for Vegas . I feel blessed and sick at the same time when I think about my niece and cousin escaping the bullets. Have a blessed week. 🍁🍂🌲

  5. Love this outfit and I recently purchased some grey jeans with a bit of embroidery on them at Stein Mart. Not sure if you have this store in your area but they have great stuff. It’s like a mini dept store and they carry the latest trends and petites! Glad you are showing us some Target items because they have really stepped up their styles and designers.

  6. I love the sweater, it’s so elegant and your
    color choices are awesome!
Thank you for the scripture today, I went
through a situation yesterday and you
couldn’t have sent it at a better time.
Have a blessed evening and prayers
    for Las Vegas.

  7. Cyndi, darling outfit!!!! I love it all. I really appreciate what you said about prayer and that it is best we can do. I couldn’t agree more. Prayer is what I do in the worst of times and equally in the best of times for my family amd friends and even those I don’t know. I loved your Beauty for the Heart. Couldn’t be more on point. May God bless you for your teachings.

  8. Love the red shoes, Cyndi! What a perfect accessory to go with the sweater! Still praying for Las Vegas. Prayer truly is the best we thing we can do in any situation!

  9. Cute outfit ….I am not a fan of the distressed jean either but looks great on you…I, too, am anxiously awaiting your cool sculpting report….hoping it is sooner rather than later! Happy Fall, and thanks for sharing your fashion and tips….

  10. Cyndi,
You’ve nailed it again. I didn’t think I’d try the embroidery trend but this outfit is adorable. I love how you use different pieces from different stores and make everything look so classy! The red shoes are the cherry on top (or bottom in this case) 🙂
    Blessings!
    Sandi

  11. Beautiful outfit! Looking for red heels or boots! I am reminded, there is a time for everything and I believe we are in a time of weeping, ‘weep with those who weep’ Ecclesiastes 3:4

  12. Oh how I wished I had purchased this sweater! I had it in my shopping bag and for whatever reason, removed it! You look fantastic in it! Love the pumps with the outfit as well! Prayers for our country. We desperately need it!

  13. another hit. I must admit that this is my favorite month and the clothing appropriate for the season certainly is part of it.
absolutely love the scripture for today. I must say that it is totally adaptable to social media even though it is written not spoken.

  14. LOVE it! I haven’t loved the bell sleeves because of how they work with coats and get in the way but this sweater is adorable! thank you for sharing

  15. The sweater is so pretty Cyndi! If I find an economically priced top with embroidery on it, I will give it a try. The red shoes and the cute little purse look fabulous with the sweater. Yes, we are praying for everyone impacted by the tragic event that took place in Las Vegas.

  16. Happy Wednesday!

To be honest, I haven’t been on board for the embroidery look however this is really cute on you.

I’m loving the price of the Target jeans………thanks for including affordable clothing.

Hope you have a great day!

  17. Love this outfit! Now I’m kicking myself for not adding this sweater to my Loft order over the weekend! I thought I had enough gray sweaters, but the embroidery really sets this one apart!

  18. Love the sweater I’ve been seeing some embroidery around I may have to give it a try… Can’t believe that cute little handbag is from target:)
Have a great day… still praying for Las Vegas

  19. This is so pretty! I like the embroidery too, and those red shoes are fantastic!
Thanks for the reminder about a wagging tongue – can get us in big trouble for sure.
    Missed you yesterday!

  20. So, I’m not a huge fan of flare sleeves, embroidery or distressed jeans, but I really like this outfit!!! 🙂 Ironically like everything about it and how it came together. The flare isn’t huge and doesn’t appear to get too much in your way, the embroidery is a little more unique by being only on the sleeves and on a sweater material. I like the red heels with it too although I always find myself feeling silly putting on heels with jeans and typically switch before I head out the door. Fun stuff!

  21. I’m sad to say…….cold days are coming 🙁 Do you have suggestions on hosiery? I work at a bank and need comfortable hosiery that looks natural, doesn’t feel funny and doesn’t make my slacks and skirts stick to them…any ideas?

    1. for the sticking clinging garments, i found that anything that i could put wtongside out helped. the “wrong” side(seamed sides opposite each other seems to create a barrier to clinging. either having the slip one would be wearing with a skirt or dress turned wrongside out or with pants wearing pantihose wrongside out.I used this during the many years when pantihose were a must for work and church outfits and it was successful.

  22. I love this embroidery trend, and I have a feeling there will more of it in my closet soon!
Words of blessing are so important. We never know what others are dealing with, so kindness is the way to go.
Love to you and your family, Cyndi!
