Beauty For the Heart~~Good verses that remind us to be thankful.

But giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honors me. If you keep to my path, I will reveal to you the salvation of God. Psalm 50:23

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. Psalm 107:1

You are my God, and I will praise you! You are my God, and I will exalt you! Psalm 118:28

Have a blessed day!

  1. I usually splurge on basics, like black trousers or a winter coat, and save on trendier things.
These posts save me a lot of research, Cyndi! 😉

  2. I love the save vs splurge post , it helps a lot . I am trying to remember to be thankful and your verses remind me too . Have fun at the spa , there is nothing better than giveaways, food and skincare &makeup on sale . Have a wonderful weekend!!!

  3. Great comparisons and why pay more if we don’t have to or your looking just to top off an outfit. Besides you would almost want to be assured you were not going to tire of something if paying the higher price. Hope you enjoy your weekend. I’m looking forward to a low key one as well. We’ve been very busy for awhile now, so time to recoup a bit before we are feeling the holiday crunch.
    Blessings

  4. Hi Cyndi,

I specifically love the sweater. It is elegant. I wish it was available in other colors as well, plum would be a pretty color option. I hope you have a great weekend.

  5. Hi Cyndi, Love all of your posts. I was looking for a new hair style, so took my ipad with, pulled up your photo, and she did a great job. I have been getting a lot of compliments, even when I dont have time to style. I have also purchased 3 tshirts from ruby’s rubbish and several things from loft from your posts. My husband and i just went to see Only the Brave. If you havent seen it, i would highly recommend it. Have a great weekend, God bless!!! Cindy

  6. Love these posts! Fun to evaluate what’s worth the splurge or not.

Would you believe that I had a Burberry cashmere scarf (a gift from Jack a few years ago). You can imagine how much I wore it. Well, a couple of years ago we drove to Nashville to see Jack’s mom at Christmastime. It was very cold, so I wore my scarf a lot, but I took it off in the car and it was lying on my seat. When we stopped for dinner, my scarf fell out of the car without my noticing it. It was very dark when we left the restaurant, so I didn’t notice anything amiss. Only later when I looked for my scarf did I realize what had happened. UGH! I just hope that whoever found it realized what a treasure they’d found.

  7. I love that red tote!!! I just ordered a buffalo plaid (what I thought was a purse….) and it turned out to be more like a suitcase. Kinda bummed so I’m still looking for a new winter bag. This one might be the winner!

  8. Thanks Cyndi! I do love these posts, it is interesting to see the same looks at different prices. I just picked up a bag from Amazon for$34 and I have had people comment that it looks like a Kate Spade or Michael Kors purse. Yay me! LOL!

  9. yea love it.bhow is your father in law doing? has your mother in law recovered from her virus enough to be able to be with him ? How close to them do you now live ? I am sure you told us this but it is a Sr. Moment for me. Do they get encouragement from visits from the younger members of the family ie Cole Allen. I would imagine he would cheer up just about anyone. Give them our best and prayers for them and the extended family.
