25 Days of Winter Fashion: Holiday Date Night Outfit

It’s Day 4 of 25 Days of Winter Fashion and today I’m sharing a holiday date night outfit. I styled this outfit around the scalloped camisole. It is a gorgeous cami and perfect for the holiday season.

25 Days of Winter Fashion: Holiday Date Night OutfitVelvet is definitely on trend this holiday season so I wanted to add a velvet blazer. This blazer is from Nordstrom but I found similar less expensive options here and here.

25 Days of Winter Fashion: Holiday Date Night OutfitI love to wear heels with my jeans and if you like heels, these black ones are comfortable.

25 Days of Winter Fashion: Holiday Date Night OutfitI also added these BaubleBar earrings and for a little shimmer on my eyes I’m wearing Champagne Silk eyeshadow.

  1. Great outfit. Love the sleeve detail on the velvet jacket. I was thinking of something just like this but with coated denim for my husband’s Christmas party!

  2. I love the jeans and heels, but I’ve never worn that combo. For some reason I just feel weird, but I think it’s a great look when dressed up with the top. That bracelet is one of my favorite AC pieces. I wear it all the time.

  3. So true. My friend lost her son to suicide in May and so she is going through all the first without him. The first was his June 22nd b’day and now Thanksgiving to come. She is a believer, so thankful for that but isn’t wanting to celebrate the holidays this year. Sad. Prayers for you all who have shared your loses. I lost my dad years ago and I know how the first can be. Thanks Cyndi for keeping us focused, while giving us fun fashion too. Love the date look and you always look so good. I bought the maroon heather sweater dress yesterday. 🙂

  4. Hi Cyndi
I love all your outfits and your verse of the day!!
Your so right. So many people are hurting today whether missing people by death, distant, or troubled in relationships. Not everyone is looking forward to the holidays. It brings loneliness and depression to a lot.
We need to be sensitive to those who are suffering.

  5. Love this outfit and anyone can do this with any jeans and a cute dressy jacket for the holidays. Also thanks for posting the “Gifts Under 50” I finally gifted myself the leopard scarve that’s been in my cart for weeks. Lol

  6. Love the simple yet elegant look with added touches. I too am a bling girl and add a bit whenever wherever. Love the photo with the sled. Thanks for your words lost my dad unexpectedly in April so our first Christmas without him. With both my parents gone now the holidays are different but I carry on the traditions with our own family which keeps them alive in our hearts.
    Blessings

  7. This is a super attractive and creative outfit! I love the metallic cami (and with scallops!) next to the velvet blazer. That said, I would have liked seeing these paired with white or ivory jeans or dress pants. I think that would look stunning.

  8. Thank you for this outfit. As you said this time of year is hard if a loved one has been lost. This will be our first Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. since my brother and grandfather went home to be with the Lord. I rejoice in their home going, but miss their physical presence.
Thank you for your words of encouragement. They are words of strength.

  9. Great outfit Cyndi! I am looking for some inspiration for my work party this year. I love doing something sparkly/blingy too! Thanks!

  10. Great date night outfit. You look fabulous! I need this look for tomorrow. (My husband is taking me to see Harry Connick Jr.) Enjoy your early Thanksgiving dinner with your children!

  11. Stunning and excellent choices Cyndi !!! Thank you for acknowledging people that have lost their loved ones. I know several people that will not get to celebrate with their family member or friend this Thanksgiving and Christmas. They are in my prayers as I cannot imagine the pain they are experiencing. ~Lisa~

  12. Blessings Pretty Cyndi! This is a beautiful and sophisticated look for the Holidays! And that’s a very pretty bracelet at a really nice price point. Wondering if you have ever styled Catherine Popesco’s line of crystal jewelry? The colors are amazing and the pieces look like some you would like!

  13. Stunning! The fabrics you chose make the whole outfit rich and elegant. The clutch is also gorgeous. I enjoy your blog so much. Thank you

  14. Happy Thursday!

I’m loving this holiday look……the shimmer of the cami and velvet blazer.

    Have a great day!

  15. I love this! The nordstroms photo looks like its more silver and your photo looks more gold. I usually trust yours more. Which would say?

  16. My heart is soft too for those celebrating the begging of the holidays with out a loved one! Prayers for sure!
I love that smooth outfit! Very holidayish! Your hair is adorable! 🤗

  17. Good morning,Cyndi🙋🏻
What a blessing it is to be able to say it…
You look great in the whole out! I have
several outfits that are velvet.I like the
softness and how it feels. The blazer will
also look so pretty with a shimmery top.
Have a blessed and smiling day!😊

  18. Love the outfit!

My husband passed away in April after a 2 1/2 year battle with cancer, and I am not looking forward to the holiday season. I am doing my best to focus on what I do have – our home, grown children, friends, and extended family, and I pray everyday for the peace that passes all understanding. He has supported us/me through this journey so far, and I know He will continue, but sometimes it’s all simply overwhelming. The worst is the fact that “life just goes on as normal.” Anyone who has experienced loss will understand what I mean.

I look forward to your doses of daily fashion and words of faith.

    1. Sharel, Praying for peace and comfort for you and your family during this holiday season. Read this quote on another blog, “A sacrifice of Thanksgiving means grieving what could have been while remaining grateful for what is.”

  19. Thank you so much for your kind words at the end of your email…my daughter lost her boyfriend last March in a car accident and this Thanksgiving Day would’ve been his birthday so it’s doubly hard. I pray comfort for all of those who have lost a loved one because I know all too well how it feels.

  20. Oh my! I love this velvet blazer! And skinny jeans with pumps!
This is gorgeous and so are you.
Thanks for the great inspiration in both fashion and faith.
