Beauty For the Heart~~May God give you perspective on things that frustrate you. May your heart of compassion grow for those who suffer in unimaginable ways. May you pray as passionately for them as you do yourself. May God protect you from a small, selfish mindset. May He fill you up with thanksgiving and joy for the freedoms you enjoy! May He renew your resolve to be a grateful, humble soul. And may He use you tomorrow in ways that surprise and bless you. -Susie Larson

Have a blessed day!

  1. Cyndi, you are cute as a button and always look great, This outfit, however, I feel, is a little hootchie mama for my taste with shoulders exposed, tight leggings AND leopard boots for a 50 yr old (or close). But you certainly, at least, do have the figure to wear it, I am a firm believer in aging gracefully, as you usually look cute and young without overdoing it. I think this would be adorable outfit on someone up to 35 or so, but to me screams trying too hard to be young.
Please don’t hate me people, no malice intended, just my opinion, and this is about our ideas on fashion sense, right? Does anyone else feel it’s too young of a look for a grandma/middle age woman?

  2. So pretty on Cyndi! Being petite has been horrible finding tops with bell sleeves this year for me. All are to my finger tips or longer & I look like I’m going to fly away. I laughed when someone said they got food on theirs as I almost caught one I have on fire cooking on our gas rangetop. Beware! I finally found one that fit at Ann Taylor outlet here as the Ann Taylor store closed so go to the outlet. They have a nice petite section. I love the bell sleeve but will be glad when it is over because of the length of the sleeves. Your hair is so cute. I like it flatter & thick bangs!

  3. I love this complete outfit! Do you find the frills & bows annoying for real life use? I find as long as the bell sleeves are at the elbow, I’m good. However, I can’t keep from swishing papers around or getting food on my sleeves if it’s all happening at my wrist! Happy Thanksgiving Cyndi!

  4. My grandson would be saying “Nana, why don’t you pull up your sweater”? 😌. Colt Allen is a cutie! Grandsons are special.

  5. Beauty for the Heart today was such a beautiful prayer, oh that we might all be able to live like this! Thank you for it and for the outfit inspiration.

  6. Girl…you are looking hot, hot, hot! Absolutely stunning! I will take a look at your gift suggestions. I loved your beauty for the heart today. It really is perfect for the season. Have a wonderful weekend.

  7. I would never have thought of
    styling anything “leopard” until
    you styled purses, scarves and
shoes in passed posts. I love the
way you style them for us and have
totally changed my mind, thank you!
    Have a blessed evening!!

  8. You look fantastic! Love the booties. I am waiting on some that are Lucky Brand, they have a small heel since I cannot walk in anything higher than 2.5 inches.

  9. Very nice outfit and it’s amazing how you can make black and cream look so fresh and trendy. I’m on the fence about the boots? Maybe the heel is a bit too high for me?
But thank you so much for the Beauty For the Heart, it really spoke to me today. I came home feeling frustrated with people at work, but this put it all into perspective for me.

  10. The booties are adorable! But when I clicked and checked them out, they are genuine calf hair. No, no, no!!! Not for me.

  11. Super cute and not many can pull off a boot like that the way you can. I’ve always been a fan of leopard print so fun. Glad you had a lovely time at your dinner. Looking forward to our Christmas celebrations. Such a proud grandma.
Blessings and have a great weekend.

  12. Cyndi – No one would ever guess your age! You look FANTASTIC!! And I can see why Colt Allen has your heart..his smile melts mine! I have been enjoying this 25 Days of Winter Fashion so much! Your style is so chic and sophisticated. I just love it! 🙂

  13. How fun! Great relationship between you and him!
    Love the BfH… absolutely true.
Outfit on point, and oh my gosh, you look gorgeous! 🤗
I also think leopard print is more like a neutral! 😉

  14. I bet that was fun reading to Colt Allen’s class and I am sure he was super excited too. I am so love this outfit and those leopard bottles are awesome. You look fantastic in this outfit but you always do . Your Beauty from the Heart was right on point , gives us all something to think about . Have a blessed afternoon !!!

  15. Fabulous look Cyndi !!! I recently purchased a pair of leopard booties at Target. I agree with Danielle…..please show more ways to style these. I have an event coming up that I plan on wearing a burgundy top and black jeggings with mine but would like more ideas. So glad you were able to spend some time with your family last night…..wonderful memories of laughter and good conversation. Enjoy your weekend. ~Lisa~

  16. Great ideas, cute outfit, love BFH…..I just got a leopard print t-neck and I was a bit taken back as to “could I pull it off?” But those boots will give me courage! Love it! Enjoy going to Grandkid’s school programs I am tooo far away to go to any of mine, so enjoy!

  17. So adorable, but I just can’t wear that high a heel these days. I have been looking at the Lucky ones. I use to not know how to style leopard but you’ve shown me how to think outside the box. Love your look. Colt looks so cute and going to my kids classrooms was so fun…..can’t wait for grandkids. 🙂 Enjoy.

  18. cute and comfortable looking.Oh I can so relate the the visiting vs photographing during family and or friends get together. One family we know solved it with a tripod and video setting when at home. Dinners out presented them with a bit more of a challenge but they still used the video camera on the cellphones and later did some editing and had some great photos to share with everyone. Everyone was of course told this was occurring.

  19. Wow! You knocked it out of the park with this one! You look fantastic and the outfit is awesome! More things to add to my Christmas list!

  20. Love this look! I’ve been wondering how to style these adorable leopard boots. Could you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE show us more looks with these boots? I really want to purchase a pair, but I’m clueless how to style them! 🙂

  21. So cute! Love the whole outfit but I can’t wear the off the shoulder, it never stays down and I spend the whole time yanking it back it place. Too annoying for me!

    Colt Allen is so adorable!!

  22. Totally adorable and you can shop for me any time. We share so much of the same taste. Those KS earrings are some of my favorite and I wear them all the time. Hope you had fun reading to Colt Allen’s class. That’s super sweet. Happy Friday!!!
