25 Days Winter Fashion: Boots from Nordstrom

Welcome to 25 Days of Winter Fashion! Today I’m sharing boots from Nordstrom. It’s officially boot season and I like having a wide selection from ankle boots, trendy boots, and over the knee boots.

Black booties go great with black pants and black jeans. I also love a block heel. *Style Tip: My black jeans are not a crop jean but I want them to touch the top of my boot. I cuff them under so they skim the top of my bootie.

I recently styled these trendy boots and I’m so glad I added them to my winter wardrobe.

I’m a huge fan of over the knee boots and I especially love to wear them with dresses.

Beauty For the Heart~~

I will celebrate the sheer joy of being alive….the joy of being created in the image of God.

I will not be cheated out of enjoying life’s pleasures…the people I meet, the food I eat, the sunshine in the trees, the company of a friend. -Lance Wubbels

This is the day the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad in it! Psalm 118:24

  1. I have so many boot & booties! Love them all! I don’t have over the knee ones but lots of tall ones. I buy everywhere I can find a 5.5 or 5. Thanks for sharing the leopard ones…..Awesome!

  2. Yay for boot season! I only ones I haven’t purchased yet is the OTK boot, since I’m petite with short little legs. Lol
But I did order a pair of boots from Rackroom for my husband that Wayne styled. Sure hope he likes them. Thank you for sharing.

  3. So timely. I’m on the hunt for some black booties. Keep coming back around to the Sam Edelman Petty ones. Thanks for your hard work on your blog! 🙂

  4. I love booties! I have them in black, brown and taupe. I like tall boots but don’t seem to wear them as much. Those leopard boots are styling, girl!
Thank you for the hint of turning a cuff under to show off your bootie. Sometimes they look cute cuffed but the turned under look is classier, especially with black jeans.

  5. I also love boots this time of year!
Thank you for styling so many
different heights and heels, it helps
us on how to style them with certain
    outfits. Always thankful for your
    fashion sense!
    Have a blessed evening.

  6. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE boots!!!! ALL boots!! (well, nearly!) I just ordered a taupe pair of OTK boots from JCP as they had a great sale, if they don’t work, I’m going to Nordstrom. Oh, and I AM getting that leopard clutch for Christmas!!! YAY!!! Those leopard booties are THE BOMB! – Although not sure if I will actually buy them. I have so many boots that it’s fun just deciding which ones to wear today and with what! So much so, that they were actually in my dream last night!! LOL! Seriously! (Does that mean I look at y’alls pictures too much???)

And AMEN to the Beauty for the Heart- there IS always something to be thankful for! This past weekend, I was SO THANKFUL that I was finally able to hug my son (in prison) for the first time since last August!! Yes, I bawled! We tend to take the smallest of blessings for granted so often…

    Blessings!

  7. Oh my I’m so glad you did a posting today on boots… I have two pairs of riding boots and two booties… the black booties I need to start wearing with skirts etc. as I’m not a black jean person… yet lol. But have been trying to decide what to wear for a boot with a black puffer coat (similar to the one you’ve shown before) . Would you wear a neutral bootie with the black coat or a black riding boot? Last year I wore my sneaker shoes most of the time as we had little snow. Help I need suggestions???
    Thanks
    Karen

  8. Cyndi I just bought my first over the knee boots when I saw you wearing them with the dress. I don’t know why I was so hesitant to try them b/c they’re just like tall boots only taller! I agree with Jodie above — the leopard print booties are my favorite of your choices!

  9. When I was a young teenager, my mother would often come and wake me up with today’s Bible verse. It always set such a beautiful tone for the day to come.

  10. I prefer booties to knee or over the knee boots mainly because I have a hard time finding boots that don’t “dig” into the back of my knee. I must be shorter from knee to ankle that the average person :). That being said, I love all kinds of booties boots – high heels, low heels, and I prefer a substantial heel – not a pencil thin tiny heel – if that makes sense. I live in boots from Nov. to March, and sometime longer depending on the weather. Good options you shared today!

  11. I’d love to find a pair of the black booties you are styling with just a slightly lower heel. I think this would allow me to wear my ankle pants into winter if they could slide up under the hem. Have you seen any out there as you browse various sites?

      1. I’m doing fabulously, thanks so much for asking!! My blog has gotten a bit busier lately, so I haven’t always had time to comment on Cyndi’s. But I usually pop over to read it because I love her style so much!!
        XOXO
