25 Days of Winter Fashion: Black Lace Dress for New Year’s Eve

Happy hump day! Today I’m sharing a black lace dress from LOFT that would be perfect for New Year’s Eve if you have a dressy party to attend.

When I went to take these pictures, I couldn’t find my red clutch so I grabbed a tan one. I think a pop of color would look best and I have this berry clutch ordered and it would look great with this dress.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m on FacebookPinterest and Instagram.

Beauty For the Heart~~Let the peace of Christ keep you in tune with each other, in step with each other. None of this going off and doing your own thing. And cultivate thankfulness. Let the Word of Christ—the Message—have the run of the house. Give it plenty of room in your lives. Instruct and direct one another using good common sense. And sing, sing your hearts out to God! Let every detail in your lives—words, actions, whatever—be done in the name of the Master, Jesus, thanking God the Father every step of the way. Colossians 3:15-17

Have a blessed day!

  1. Hi Cyndi!
I just love this dress on you- you look amazing! Your lipstick is so pretty, do you mind sharing?
    Blessings,
    Amy

  2. Thank you so much for sharing the Scripture verses with your readers. It was so beautiful and meaningful to me. I attended my church ladies meeting this morning and shared it with them. God’s word is alive and traveled from Kentucky to Virginia this morning. I wonder where else that Scripture you selected traveled to across this world wide web. Only God knows! Keep on sharing, as you are definitely enriching our lives and increasing our biblical knowledge with God’s word.

  3. So, so elegant Cyndi, you look beautiful
in this dress! you and your husband
should get together with this outfit
for a photo together. Your kids will
    love it!!
    Have a blessed evening!!

  4. Hi Cyndi, I was wondering if there is anywhere that I can find the Christmas Poem that you posted last year, and I don’t remember the name of it, but it was about sitting by the tree when everyone else was in bed and picturing yourself as part of the scene when Jesus was born…I was wanting to incorporate the poem in a Christmas program…thanks

  5. Cyndi, love most of the things you style, but when I click to go see them, I always get stuck at an rsytle.com sight which my computer won’t allow me to open. Have gone thru my settings and should be ok, so if anyone has any ideas, please let me know!

  6. A perfect dress for a New Year’s party. I’d just add a silvery clutch to the mix to up the ante.
I notice you’re wearing opaque pantyhose. Are black ones that are a little sheer a no-no?

  7. Love the dress. I don’t have any dressy occasions to attend….rarely do where I live. Everyone in a small town dress so casual, that I even feel dressed up in comparison when I feel I’m casual. I really would feel silly if I added the faux fur or leopard coats. 🙂 LOL You look great in everything…..way better than Loft models, I’d say. Have fun wearing all your looks for the holidays. I agree, your new purse will really pop with this black dress. 🙂 Thanks for the scripture today. Good for me to hear. I’m so frustrated right now about someone.

  8. The cut of this dress is one of my favorites. I have a dress from Loft that I got yeaaars ago that is the same style and I’ve kept it in my closet. This is such a fun place for your festive pictures too. You look stunning!

  9. What a beautiful dress and very classy. Love your festive background and bfth. I wish I had a place to wear this but our News Years Eve tradition is to go to our friends home where there’s about 80+ of us, but we all pretty well go more casual.
    Enjoy your study
    Blessings
    Karen

  10. I LOVE those earrings. I don’t usually wear the larger style but they would be great for the holidays and dressy occasions. Unfortunately, they were sold out. Can you recommended anything similar?

  11. Not fashion related but do you have a bible you recommend for someone who is just starting out reading the bible? I’m wanting to gift one to a friend and hope to find one that doesn’t overwhelm her. Thanks!

  12. Good morning,Cyndi🙋🏻
You look lovely! I bought a similar dress for Christmas and will accessorize with emerald jewelry that my husband bought me for my birthday. We both enjoy going shopping for clothes,so today we’re shopping for shoes and a clutch purse to go with my dress😁
Have a wonderful and fun day!🤗

    Blessings always,
    Raquel

  13. So pretty today and thank you for that uplifting scripture from Colossians.. I must remember to sing 🎶 my praises. Thanks and blessings.. Sharon

  14. I love this dress and went to Loft.com to order it. However, all the reviews said the neck was too tight to zip or fasten. Did you find that to be true?
You look fabulous in this dress! So cute!

  15. Love the look! I went to a winter wedding couple of years ago & one of the ladies at work said to wear black ultra sheer hose with my dress . All in black . That is what she did with black & it being December. I had some black D’orsey ( spelling) pumps I wore too . Would those be ok to wear with tights & is that too dressy or not considered in good taste for church. I haven’t gotten much wear out of the shoes at all. You look extra pretty in your black lace dress! Thanks for your help with the shoes & tights question!

  16. I just saw this dress at Loft over the Weekend they also hove the top just like I I love it..You look great! Love the wonderful message as well!!
