2017 Year In Review

Happy Friday! It’s about time to shut the books on 2017 but before we do, I thought I would share a 2017 Year In Review of my most popular posts by month.

2017 Year In Review

January 2017 I wrote about Out of Fashion Trends. Some I think did go but some are sticking around. Many of you will be glad to know we are supposed to say goodbye to the cold shoulder trend this year (wink).

2017 Year In ReviewMost of us are gearing up for spring by February even though it’s still a few months off. I shared my favorite sunless tanning routine and tips.

I have to say you all love when my daughter, Courtney, makes an appearance on the blog. It doesn’t happen often but this post on The Power of Us was my top post for March.

2017 Year In ReviewFitness is one of the most popular on my blog, period. So, my Fitness Journey was my top post in April.

2017 Year In ReviewMay I shared about our vacation at Seaside and I wore J.Jill clothing. That was super fun!

2017 Year In ReviewJune was all about travel as Wayne and I took a three week trip out west. This tassel tank top and white shorts was my most viewed post.

2017 Year In ReviewJuly brought more fitness with Staying Fit with the Faster Way to Fat Loss.

2017 Year In ReviewAugust is always a transitional month so I started talking fall with Fall Wardrobe Essentials.

2017 Year In ReviewSeptember I shared fall fashion and this LOVE graphic sweatshirt from Target was my most viewed post.

2017 Year In ReviewOctober I shared 5 Wearable Coat Trends to get us ready for the colder months.

2017 Year In ReviewNovember was 25 Days of Winter Fashion and this outfit was the most popular post.

2017 Year In ReviewNo surprise that this month has been a fitness post with How To Eat The Faster Way.

2017 Year In ReviewI am ready for 2018 and all that God has in store. Life is definitely a journey with ups and downs. I may not know what the future holds but I do know WHO holds the future.

Let’s start the New Year looking and listening to see what God is going to do this year.

Thank each of you for following along this journey of faith and fashion. You are truly a blessing to me!!

Have a blessed day!

  1. You are adorable and your family is just beautiful! I am inspired by some of your outfits to step up my game at 45ish. Would love to see more classic looks vs. trendy in 2018. I just can’t do the home ec project gone wrong bell sleeves and cutout shoulders. Plus, IMO, past a certain age the trendy stuff looks rather silly, no matter how well preserved we might like to think we are. You’re very beautiful and have such a sweet smile! I love your blog and your hair!

  2. What a great year Cyndi! Your blog is something I look forward to everyday, and the BFTH is almost always something I needed to hear.
Wishing you a very happy new year and I’m looking forward to 2018.

  3. My daughter introduced me to your blog. One of my resolutions for 2018 is going to be to be more open minded about my wardrobe, which mainly is black or gray. I need to add some color and be more courageous in my clothing choices. I look forward to see what you will be showing us in 2018. God bless you and your family in 2018. Love your faithfilled comments.

  4. I’m still loving the cold shoulder style and plan on extending it in my closet even if it’s going out of style

  5. Have a great New Year! I enjoy your blog and I tell all my friends about how they will enjoy it as well. You inspire me to be strong in my Christian faith and help to encourage me to live healthy and have good sense of fashion style. I am glad the cold shoulder is on the way out!

  6. I am not one to follow blogs, like so many others, I am a busy person. I do however, follow yours. I so enjoy your style and your love of God & family! Wishing you an abundance of blessings in 2018!

  7. Thank you Cyndi for all your sweetness and hard work! It’s a blessing to read your Blog and the BFTH everyday! God bless you and your family in 2018! ❤️

  8. Happy New Year!! Love your blog!
My families year is ending on a difficult note. My husband had an accident with an auger (a machine that digs holes in the ground) in our back yard on December 22 so I spent my Christmas between the hospital, with my husband & home, with our 2 sons. My husband will be fine, it messed up his leg pretty bad but he’s blessed that it wasn’t worse. He will be off work for about a month. Then my brother called me last night & he has twin boys that are in their early twenties & they had an accident, I won’t go into the details but they will eventually be ok. Prayers are needed & appreciated for our family!
Blessings to you & your family!

    1. Thank you Malisa!! Praying for your family! Unexpected accidents can be so difficult, but God will see your family through this. Blessings!!

  9. Happy New Year, Cyndi! Don’t know if you remember, but a lot has changed since I met you at Macy’s in Lexington, and you helped me pray when my family was in a car accident. My grandson is completely recovered, now!
One thing that hasn’t changed is your fabulous style, and your heart for our Lord! Love to you and yours!

  10. Amen! Love it! It has been officially one year I started following you. I found you on Pinterest, and even though some times I don’t comment, I always read, and appreciate your insightful quotes, and beauty inside and outside are as important. Thank you for your beautiful personality, not just physically, but your heart! Thank you, Cyndi for leading us into becoming not only physically beautiful, but looking into the way God sees us! Have a fabulous New Year, and let’s ring in 2018! Blessings and hugs! 💕

  11. Cyndi, thank you for the great fashion posts and all the wonderful tips you shared with us this year. I not only purchased some fun items for myself but also for my husband. I ordered some boots for Christmas from Rackroom Shoes from a post of Wayne styling them and he loved them. But I can’t seem to find the picture of Wayne to show my husband.? It wasn’t the one with your grandson. Anyway, please have a Safe and Happy New Year!

    1. Gloria, if you look at the looking for something? portion at the very bottom of the posts, you can type in what you’re looking for under search this website. I typed in Rackroom Shoes and I’m thinking the November 25 blog is the one you might be looking for.

      1. That was it, thank you so much! I looked for a search area and didn’t see it. This will be really helpful in the future. Your the best and Happy New Year😃

  12. Cyndi,

Happy New Year to you and your family
