5 Winter Wellness Oils

One of the things on my to-do list for 2018 is to share more about essential oils here on the blog. I feel like it’s my best kept secret!

I use essential oils everyday but today I want to share 5 Winter Wellness Oils that I’m using to help me stay healthy this winter and hopefully avoid any sickness during the winter season.

5 Winter Wellness OilsHere is the recipe called the Wellness Bomb. I put these oils in a bottle (I use these from Amazon) and roll them on the bottom of my feet.

-40 drops Lemon
-20 drops Thieves
-20 drops Oregano
-20 drops Tea Tree
-20 drops Frankincense

Top off roller bottle blend with carrier oil of your choice. I use this one.

LEMON OIL

5 Winter Wellness Oils

  • Lemon is high in d-limonene (go Google what that does) so it’s the PERFECT immune system support for the winter season!
  • A drop in honey or warm tea does wonders for the throat & chest this time of year!
  • Remember that Lemon is photosensitive, so don’t apply to the skin and then sit out in the sun!

THIEVES

5 Winter Wellness Oils

  • Awesome immune-supporting essential oil

OREGANO

5 Winter Wellness Oils

  • Oregano is an absolute must-have for the fall and winter you guys! It helps to support our immune systems and is a powerhouse ingredient in this ‘Wellness Bomb’ recipe.

TEA TREE

5 Winter Wellness Oils

  • Boosts the immune system.
  • Works as an antibacterial, antimicrobial, antiseptic, and antiviral.

FRANKINCENSE

5 Winter Wellness Oils

  • Frankincense essential oil has an earthy, uplifting aroma that’s perfect for grounding and spiritual connectedness.
  • Acts as an anti-inflammatory

The beauty of essential oils is that they are natural, extracted from flowers, leaves, bark or roots of plants. I use Young Living essential oils because they are pure essential oils. That means they have not been diluted with chemicals or additives.

Here is the link to get started with the oils, click here. If you order the Premium Starter Kit, three of the oils for the Wellness Bomb are in it, Thieves, Frankincense, and Lemon. You can order the Oregano and Tee Tree and get the discounted price since you’re ordering the Premium Starter Kit.

If you want to make an investment in your health in 2018, I highly recommend you begin by purchasing a Premium Starter Kit from Young Living.

Why Should I Become A Wholesale Member?

This is a great option that provides you 24% off retail price! Who wants to pay retail anyway? Being a wholesale member is definitely the way to go so you can receive 24% off every product that Young Living Offers.

Is there a monthly order minimum?

Nope. You can just order what you need when you need it.

I just really want to use oils myself. Do I have to sell Young Living products to be a wholesale member?

Nope. There is ZERO obligation to sell oils when you join as an wholesale member. However, if you ever change your mind, it’s very easy to start and of course I will help you. 🙂

What kit do you recommend?

I definitely recommend the premium starter kit with one of the diffusers. And you have 4 different diffuser options to choose from when you order your new kit!

  1. I use Young Living oils also and I live on Thieves and Oregano. Thieves doesn’t taste the best but I used 2 drops under my tongue morning and night for 3 days and beat a cold just last week. I diffuse it in my diffuser every day. I highly recommend essential oils for healthy living.

  2. Thank you so much for the class tonight! It was very informative. I signed up for the starter kit tonight under you and can’t wait to start using my oils!

    Thanks again!

  3. So awesome to hear you use Young Living Essentials Oils too! My mother and I have used them for at least 25 yrs, and wouldn’t be without them. I use a drop of Thieves on the bottom of my feet in the winter months when flu/colds are rampant. Thanks for sharing this info on your blog, and for being a spiritual encourager in the Lord. 😊🙏

  4. I see someone was else has already asked but I am planning to make your wellness bomb and was wondering if you use it morning and night?

  5. Yaaay !! I am so glad you are going to talk more about YL’s essential oils , I am so glad I learned about them thru you and got the kit almost a year ago . I love using them but I have so much more to learn about them . Thank you again !!

  6. I love peppermint this time of year. And I diffuse it in the morning while I get ready for work. It seems to clear the brain fog fo me.

  7. Thanks so much for the EO recipe!! I can’t wait to try it!!! How much and often do u use it!!! I’m loving my oils and just bought the thieves cleaning kit!!! Thanks for sharing!!!

  8. I think I read on your blog that you add the orange oil to water and drink for immune boosting? Do you recommend that?

  9. Is the oregano the same as oil of oregano? I have a bottle that I keep on hand for the first sign of something like a sore throat and take a few drops in water or juice. (it burns but it works). I have been very lucky over the last year and have not needed it as I’ve managed to escape the colds and flu’s. (in fact I have not had a flu in over 15 years since I stopped getting the flu shot) funny how that worked. Thanks for sharing these, its really interesting that they are put on your feet. I swear right now by a probiotic and Vit D that I take daily and start late August to prepare for the winter, and eat blueberries and spinach daily. (something must be working). I’d like to know of a good energy booster especially when mother nature still makes her monthly call?? Thanks for sharing some great wellness ideas. and what a great BFTH. How true.
    Blessings

  10. I have a question about the “grounding and spiritual connectedness” mentioned in the Frankincense description. What does that mean, and how does the oil accomplish that?

  11. How often do you roll the “wellness bomb” on the bottom of your feet? Do you roll it over the whole foot or just certain areas?
    Thanks

  12. Does this really work? I have a diffuser but other than making the room smell good i don’t know if it has any medicinal benefits.

  13. I love love love to diffuse essential oils . I’ve ordered from Young Living in the past and I’ve really enjoyed them .

  14. I am so behind the curve when it comes to using essentials oils. I thought they were mostly for cleaning.

I definitely have some Googling to do 🤫. I think I’ll start with your archives, lol.

  15. Hi Cyndi! I started using essential oils about a year ago & bought the premium starter kit is fall. I diffuse Eucalyptus & Lavender at night & wear a necklace diffuser with Thieves most days. I also like to use Purification on my wool dryer balls.

  16. We put oils in our bedside diffuser every night. Right now we’re using Eucalyptus and it’s wonderful for stuffy nose season! I also use Deep Relief on my aching joints. Love it.
