Sunday Encouragement

Happy Sunday sweet friends! One of the things I try to do is keep encouragement and scripture in front of me throughout my day. An easy way to do that is to follow christian bloggers/sites on Instagram.

One of my favorite Instagram sites is called @trustgodbro. They share positive quotes and scripture and it’s nice to see these pop up while I’m scrolling through Instagram.

What do you do to keep yourself focused on scripture throughout the day?

Kari Jobe is one of my favorite christian artists. She not only has a beautiful voice but her songs are powerful.

Have a blessed Sunday!

  1. Catching up on email today – home sick :(. Love this song and artist – one of my favorites! Thanks for always keeping Christ first Cyndi, it’s one of the reasons I continue to follow you rather than some other bloggers. Beauty truly begins on the inside.

  2. One of my favorite contemporary songs. Thanks for the encouraging message. I follow Hope for the Brokenhearted on Facebook.

  3. Thank you Cyndi, I love the
quote. You are right, there is so
much negativity in this world so
thank you for the positive message!!

  4. Def following @trustgodbros… thanks for the tip. Also sent it to my kids! Oh and I made the enchilada chicken soup as my first IP recipe. Yummm! Still not totally sure how the IP works… complicated! :/

  5. That you sharing the song “I am not Alone”. I lost my wonderful, Godly husband to cancer in September 2017. I started my day by reading in Max Lucado’s book “Glory Days” that God is fighting for me & ended my day by listening to this song. Just what I needed

  6. I drove to Tyler today to have lunch at Chipotle with my son (middle son) and to shop at Fresh for the Whole30 diet we started today!! Ohhhh my, what have I done!! Lol!
I also listened to this New Years message from Steven Furtick. It. Was. Amazing!!! I’m going to listen again to make notes! Such a great encouragement and direction for us as difficult things happen to us, or around us. The more difficult or ‘impossible ‘ our circumstances may appear, the more God can receive the glory, and I want my life to always bring Him glory!! We’ve certainly had quite a few difficult things in our lives over the past couple of years (& that on top of many others over the past 27 years!!) but if I can resolve to change my perspective and see it as something that He will use to grow me, strengthen & mature me- the more glory He will receive- thus the more the gospel will impact others! That’s my prayer!

I also love Kari Jobe- her worship lyrics are so near to my heart.
Thank you for sharing today Cyndi- blessings!

  7. My beautiful grandmas funeral was today. The sun was shining and she’s in heaven. She was my best friend… Thank you for everything you do. 😊

  8. Thanks so much cyndi.
I’m struggling with depression and fighting it daily because of the betrayal by my dsughter. Shared before She is estranged for two years and won’t allow us to see our grandsons.
Trying to let God take control of my life and I fail all the time and just cry.
    Thanks for your paraders

    1. Praying for you Donna. God HAS control of your life, you just have to trust Him and remember that His timing is always perfect. God’s love is perfect and unconditional. He loves you deeply and sees every tear you cry and every struggle you face. Don’t stop trusting Him.

  9. Thanks so much cyndi.
