A Podcast and an Essential Oil Class

Happy Tuesday ladies!!

Today I wanted to share a few things with you. I recently had the privilege to do a podcast with Angie Elkins. Angie is the sweetest thing, and I am a huge fan of her podcasts. The podcast is called Chatologie, and it connects people to God and each other by encouraging conversations that matter.

In our recent conversation, I share about my blog, about my failures, and where I am in life today. You can listen to the podcast here. She has a lot of great conversations with people so you will want to subscribe to her podcasts!

A Podcast and an Essential Oil Class

I know this is quick notice, but I forgot to mention it yesterday. Traci and I are doing a class called Emotional Makeover, and we would love for you to join us tonight! There are so many oils that help with emotional support and let’s be honest most of us could use a little help in that area.

Sign up here and we will send a link to the class about an hour before it starts.

A Podcast and an Essential Oil ClassThank you for taking time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m on FacebookPinterest, and my favorite one, Instagram.

Beauty For the Heart~~The storm that was sent to break you, is going to be the storm that God uses to make you.

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. James 1:12

Have a blessed day!

  1. I so loved your podcast, Cyndi. You are indeed a shining example of a Proverbs 31 woman. Thank you for reminding us that beauty comes from the inside out. You are an inspiration.

  2. I watched the Emotional Makeover class but never heard how to get the oils. Maybe I got cut off early? Could you send me a link to re-watch? Thanks so much for all the inspiration you provide.

  3. Hi Cyndi,
Just finished listening to the podcast. I never listen to one of these but I follow your blog everyday and wanted to hear your story.
I’m in a very sad season of depression the last two years because of personal struggles. I’m a Christian since I was twelve and now a women of 59. I’ve been through a lot of heartache throughout the years coming from an abyss I’ve step father, a man that my mom married when I was three. I’ve been an outcast my whole life. So for me to hear the wonderful man your husband is to except your children as his own and your a whole family is so close is anazing to me. My husband is a wonderful Christian whom I’m married for 40 years.
Anyway we are facing some family issues the last few years with our daughter which I mentioned to you before.
I needed to hear your message tonight and I your words for the heart were so meaningful today too. The storm that was sent to break you is going to be the storm God makes you. Thank you for the inspiration to get through another day!!

    1. Praying for you Donna!! We all go through difficult seasons, but He does not leave us! Thank you for taking the time to listen! Blessings in this coming year!!

  4. I loved the podcast, what a great session and
speaking of your Mom just touches me!
thank you and have a blessed evening!!

  5. Such a joy to listen to the podcast and hear your story. I am new to your blog. I am a 52 year old grandmother and was looking on Pinterest for Fashion over 50 and came across your posts. So thankful and the added bonus that you love Jesus was definitely confirmation that I was right where I needed to be.

Thank you so much for your encouragement and for doing the research that I don’t have time to do when it comes to fashion… I was not born to shop… You have made my shopping experiences so much more enjoyable!

    Be Blessed!

  6. I am feeling so enlightened and encouraged after listening to your podcast! I have always loved your ability to connect with your readers through fashion, but more importantly your faith. Your story is beautiful and thank you for sharing it. Your mother left a beautiful legacy and what a wonderful job you are doing to honor it 🙂

  7. I so enjoyed the podcast! It was a real blessing to me. I hope everybody will take a little time and give it a listen–it’s very worthwhile, and I feel I “know” you so much more now. Looking forward to the spring series, and the spring WEATHER!! 🙂

  8. Cyndi, listening to you on the podcast was a tremendous blessing! It was great to hear you speak from your heart about your faith, life journey, and fashion. I’m positive that anyone who listens will be impacted by hearing your testimony. As I listened, it felt like I was hearing a dear friend speak, and that itself is a gift to those who follow your blog. I hope that everyone who follows you takes the opportunity to listen to the podcast! Thank you for sharing this with us. May the Lord continue to bless you and your family ~

  9. Hi Cyndi,
Lonnnnnng time follower, first time commenter. I just listened to your podcast. Your testimony, genuine spirit and inspiration really touched my heart. Thank you for linking this, as I really needed it today.

  10. I just finished listening to your podcast. It was so nice to put a voice to the many pictures of you I have seen since beginning to follow your blog, after first finding you on Pinterest. When I found you on Pinterest it was your style that caught my attention and prompted me to follow your blog. and it is that evolving style and your inner beauty and grace that keeps me following:) I enjoyed the podcast and how open you were. I found myself tearing up as you spoke about your mom among other things, as I lost both parents (much younger than I thought they would be) in the last five years. It is so TRUE that we may not understand Gods plan but he is in control… I have learnt that so much the last five years, and have also learned that life is in deed short. I thank God for all the days and years I had with both my parents. I hope the companies that you represent know how lucky they are. My prayers are with you each day as you do this line of work, and yes I have learned through following you and your podcast that it is just not fun (which it always looks like) but a lot of effort.
    Thank you and Blessings
    Karen
