Lace and Floral Spring Inspired Outfit

Hello, weekend! Today I’m sharing a lace and floral spring inspired outfit. The colors in this floral skirt are gorgeous, and it can be worn now and into summer.

For reference, I’m 5’6,” and the skirt is a couple of inches above my knee.

Lace and Floral Spring Inspired Outfit I added a long sleeve lace blouse. This blouse is a great transitional piece for spring and can be worn with colorful pants or for a more casual look, jeans. I am wearing a gray tank under the blouse.

My handbag is from Target, and I think it looks like a knock-off of the Chanel handbag.

Beauty For the Heart~~“Expect to encounter adversity in your life, remembering that you live in a deeply fallen world.”

Adversity is a part of our life, but that adversity can draw us closer to Jesus.

Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. James 1:2-4

Have a blessed day!

  1. Cute outfit! You look beautiful, Cyndi. I love your fashion choices. You always look so classy and elegant.

I finally had time to listen to your podcast. I’ve been following you for a couple of years and you’re my favorite blogger. After listening to the podcast, I really appreciate your blog even more. Thank you for sharing your story. Your beloved Mother left a beautiful legacy and I’m sure she would be so pleased with the way you honor her. I have reflected all day on the two things you mentioned toward the end of the podcast that your Mom told you when she became ill. Thank you for sharing her incredible faith in Jesus.

    Have a great weekend.

    1. Thank you so much for sharing such sweet words Tonya!! I’m so glad you enjoyed the podcast and follow along on this journey with me:) Blessings!

  2. Thanks for the post, love the affordable shoes from target! Everything you made it looks so beautiful!

  3. Love you in the outfit. Would be cute early Easter outfit. Could you please tell me how to link to the podcast you talked on? I’d love to hear you talk. 🙂

  4. Wondering how many were able to see Billy Grahams. Funeral this am. Great messages by all sleakers.

  5. You really are just the cutest!! Love the outfit and the accessories. I love it when you find such cute deals for us from Target, Old Navy, etc. too! But a size four????!!!! Geez!! I’m a little jealous. I’ve been trying to lose a few pounds for a couple of months……it is so difficult after menopause!!! LOL!
Look forward to your blog every day!

  6. Weirdly enough, I went to online to purchase these shoes and they don’t come in a size 9, my size. Darn! Can they be sold out already?

    1. Janet, if you see the reviews for the shoes they run big so maybe if you get the 8.5 I got the 8 I wear 8.5
      Hope that helps:)

  7. Fell in love with the skirt when you showed it in your Loft try-on session. I got it in the petite for Easter but it may be a bit short (5’4″). Making the trip to a store tomorrow to see if they have the regular. Still undecided about the top. But the skirt is gorgeous in person. A stop at Target to try those shoes may be in order too! Thank you for styling it!

  8. Such a nice spring outfit… reminds me of Easter which is early this year.. the first pair of earrings would be my choice. Love a nude shoe, and wow Target is shining lately🤗. My hubby and I are having supper out tonight with my sister and brother in law.( low key weekend) which is nice after a busy week.
    Have a great weekend
    Karen

  9. Love it!! I would wear this but I like my skits a bit longer, looks great on you!!
I also like the pop of unexpected color in the earrings, makes the outfit more interesting IMO!!
I would love to see you style a piece in 2-3 different ways!
BFTH is spot on for me today!!

  10. Love this outfit! It must be New. I was just at Loft last weekend. I didn’t see this. I will check out again. Love the shoes. As always, Love Your Blog. Keep the outfits coming. Blessings to you!!❤

  11. Cute outfit, cute shoes, cute bag…….thanks for the affordable options……gotta head to Target! And BFTH, spot on….but I have to admit I am tired and am having a hard time counting it all joy! Thanks for the reminder!

  12. Loved the podcast too and am looking forward to the rest of it (is that tonight?). I listened in bed and your calming voice and words were not only inspiring but it put me to sleep and then I woke up right at the part you discuss how quickly you lost your Mom. As I am dealing with the same thing right now it seemed like God woke me up to hear those words. Plan to listen to the whole thing again soon. Love the shoes today and the cute outfit!

  13. Listened to you on the Chatologie Podcast!!! I have been following you for about three years but have never left a comment. It was so nice to hear your interview and your story. Your blog is the first one I ever followed, and is my favorite. God bless you for all you do to encourage us in fashion and in the Lord.

  14. The skirt length is perfect and love
seeing spring shoes coming back out
    of my closet!
    Have a blessed weekend!!

  15. Love the blouse and nude shoes. I have nude wedge sandals from last year but want to get a pair of nude flats and heels also. Don’t care for the yellow earrings, sorry. It just changed the look of the outfit totally, but w/o was such a cute look. I think the blouse would look great with jeans for a Friday night date. Also, listened to you podcast last night and it was so inspiring to hear you share. I want to take with me your words that even though trials come our way in life, GOD is walking beside us all the way through them. Blessings to you for all you do for us.

  16. Cute look, on you. Bit young for me, I’ll be 60 in a few weeks. We have a black tie fund raising event for children with terminal diseases. Puts things into perspective, to hear about their needs and to see them. This year I wanted a new YSL bag, but instead am writing a check to the foundation, in the amount of what the bag would cost.

  17. Another great look! LOVE the shoes, and yes yes yes to nude shoes in the spring and summer. Being vertically challenged I need all the leg lengthening I can get. You’re making me even more ready for spring :).
