Lavender Tie Front Sweater from Target

I’m sharing spring fashion today with pretty snow in the background. You never know what to expect in Kentucky this time of year!

I have wanted to share some lavender fashion since it’s supposed to be one of the statement trends of 2018. Truthfully, I haven’t seen a ton of lavender in the stores, but maybe it will show up soon.

Lavender Tie Front Sweater from Target

This tie front sweater is from Target, and it’s nice to wear on a cool spring day.

Lavender Tie Front Sweater from TargetI added my Madewell jeans to my outfit. I love these jeans, but they are a higher price point. These jeans from Loft are a less expensive option and are on sale for 40% off (I have these, and I like them!).

Lavender Tie Front Sweater from TargetIf you love espadrilles but don’t want a high heel, these are a great option. They have straps that wrap above the ankle and tie in a casual bow. I also like a closed toe shoe for early spring.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m on FacebookPinterest, and my favorite one, Instagram.

Beauty For the Heart~~Do you know that Satan is a liar. He wants you to believe his lies. Satan says you are alone in your struggles, temptations, and pain.

Scripture reminds us, The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure. (1 Corinthians 10:13, NLT)

So if you are suffering in a manner that pleases God, keep on doing what is right, and trust your lives to the God who created you, for he will never fail you. (1 Peter 4:19, NLT)

Have a blessed day!

  1. So glad to hear you are learning about the Young Living Savvy Mineral makeup line, I have been using it since it came out and I absolutely love it! Would never go back to my other cream foundation, and their makeup brush set is unbelievable! So nice to wear products that are free of any damaging chemicals! Anxious to hear what you think of the line, just got the multi tasker in my order today, excited to try it!

  2. Love that purse! So cute but sold out.

I actually saw quite a few lavender dresses at a store here in Florida today. Very spring.

If you’re coming to Florida for your cruise, you’ll be blessed with 80’s this weekend. Enjoy.

  3. The lavender looks so beautiful next to the
color of the pines, great spring color!
    Have a blessed evening!!

  4. I totally agree with you about finding a lack of lavender in stores! Even ultraviolet, which is the Pantone color of the year! So interesting. I have been watching the Target stock on the hunt for this color but missed this top, It’s so cute! Thanks for sharing.

  5. I love the purse! We just got back from 2 weeks in Fla. and a week on a cruise ship in the Caribbean. We had beautiful weather except for rain 1 day in Cozumel. While driving back yesterday between Lexington and Columbus, Ohio area. we must have experienced a dozen snow squaws with very low visibility especially in Cincinnati! Today seems like the coldest day of winter to me! How easily our bodies adjust to the 80s and 90s. Have a fabulous trip. I am anxious to hear about it!

  6. Just placed an order with Target for the violet sweater – pick-up in store – no shipping charge – on my way home from work so convenient! Spring doesn’t come to Michigan as soon as Kentucky – i think can wear this a lot before the warmer temps reach us.

  7. Sooo cute… you always put everything together perfectly:) I have your necklace got it for Christmas… love it!!! I’m starting to see a bit of lavender in the stores now 🤗
    Have a great day

  8. I’m with you Cyndi, I’ve seen very little lavender and have been looking for it since it’s to be THE color this Spring! Do you think Nordstrom’s will restock the circle handbag you’re carrying and could you tell me what it retails for? I’ve been shopping around and this is by far my favorite but now it’s sold out. I found one that looks exactly the same on Etsy but the shipping charges are half as much the handbag since it’s shipped from overseas. I’m trying to decide if it’s worth the extra in shipping or just wait to see if Nordstrom’s restocks it soon! Thanks Cyndi!

  9. Wow – Target is really getting some great pieces in! Love the lavender and can hardly wait to see more of it.

  10. I do think it always takes awhile for the “new” colors to show up in retail. And considering how pink has been so huge for these last couple of years, you wonder if manufacturers are willing to take the leap!!
Have a fabulous time on your cruise Cyndi!!
    XOXO

I love purple in the spring and you look great!!!
I can’t tell you how much your BFTH touched my heart just now.
The pharmacy I worked for closed and we lost our jobs. Today is the first day I’m home. I also feel alone and no one truly cares about me. My husband is by my side but my grown kids have no time. It’s a different world.
It’s true, we forget we are at war with Satan everyday.
I’m excited for you as you get ready for your cruise!!

    1. Donna….you are NOT alone. God is with you and will guide you in the new faze in your life. He has bigger plans for you. I know how you feel. I’ve been home for years due to migraines and can’t work. I have adult kids and they have their own lives, so we have to learn to enjoy them when we can. Glad you have your husband by your side…..me too. 🙂 PS Do things you couldn’t do when working and appreciate those.

    2. Don’t be discouraged.. I know it can be hard on us moms when our kids get older and we miss that time with them.. but remember we are never alone when we belong to God 😀prayers that things will improve for you

    3. Donna, you hang in there. I’m so sorry you lost your job, but, look, it’s your first day home from your former job, and you’ve already got several of us on the internet praying for you–we care! It will get better, and it will be okay. Take good care of yourself, and take it one day at a time. ((Hugs))

    4. Thank you Donna!! I’m glad you have your husband and praying God will be with you in this season of change! Blessings sweet friend!!

  12. I absolutely love that you have been styling clothes from Target! It is one of my favorite stores!

  13. Love this top, Cydni!!! I would like to see this kind of top styled for a work outfit. Skirt? Slacks? I just don’t wear jeans to work. God Bless you!
