Casual Spring Dress from Gap

Well, it’s Day 22 of my 22 Days of Spring Fashion. This will go down as one of my coldest spring series. I’ve styled 22 days of clothes that I can’t wear yet. Haha!

Today I’m styling this casual spring dress from Gap. I have seen this dress around blog land, and I thought it was cute. I finally decided to try it for myself, and I’m glad I did. The best part is it’s 40% off with code HAPPY.

Casual Spring Dress from GapThe dress is a soft jersey knit, and the length is longer than most dresses. Yes!

That’s a wrap!! Jo-Lynne and I will do a recap on Monday so be on the lookout for that post.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m on FacebookPinterest, and my favorite one, Instagram.

Beauty For the Heart~~Our Savior kneels down and gazes upon the darkest acts of our lives. But rather than recoil in horror, he reaches out in kindness and says, ‘I can clean that if you want.’ And from the basin of his grace, he scoops a palm full of mercy and washes our sin. -Max Lucado

“Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. Isaiah 1:18

Have a blessed day!

  1. Love this dress on you and you
look so “fit” that this is a perfect
    dress for your figure!!
    Have a blessed evening!!

  2. Its the dress navy striped you have one? On the site when I click to look on GAP the colors are blinking and don’t show? Thanks

  3. Would this be wayyyy too long for me if I’m 5’3″. The model shows it over the knee but I like it right above the knee like on you. I usually wear XS or S in GAP. Love this dress. Looks great on you.

    1. I saw on line that the dress comes in petit and I believe the colors are navy and white, plain black and plain grey.
      Hope this helps:)

      1. Oh that does help. I didn’t see it comes in petites. Thanks for your reply. I will look again and hope the site will allow me to click on the navy and white stripe. 🙂

        1. Oh they may be sold out in petite on the US site. I’m in Canada and our site shows petite still available.. but only in large now ,maybe they will restock. Good luck:)

          1. Oh gotcha. Thanks. I really like the style of the dress but think I’m too short for the regular.

  4. Oh I touched that dress when at Gap a couple of weeks ago, it was SO SOFT!!! Loved it, just wasn’t in my budget at the time. LOVE the BFTH- thank you for sharing it! Looking lovely as always Cyndi!

  5. I wanted to add that your beauty for the heart today spoke to me and I shared it with loved ones. Our family is going through a very difficult time after a tragedy that occurred last week. Thank you for words of inspiration today!

  6. Fabulous job on this 22 days series! You’ve given me many outfit inspirations throughout this series – as always!
I agree with the other ladies – I love your hair! This style is so flattering on you, and I would love some styling tips! #hairgoals 🙂

  7. I do love this dress, Cyndi! Sometimes GAP clothes look a little to young for me, I think. But I think this one has a very sophisticated silhouette while still appearing young and fresh. And you look stunning in it. I hope you have a blessed, beautiful and WARMER weekend!

  8. I like a dress that is “multi-functional” :-), work, play, church, etc. this one would fit the bill. The length would be too much for me – hahaha, but that’s almost always the case anyway. Glad I have a good seamstress, although I do have to consider that in the cost of clothes.

  9. I love this dress and it looks super comfortable. Also love the new way you are styling your hair and would love to have you do a blog on the cut, how you style and the products you use.

Its cold here in Colorado also. But it suppose to warm back up in the 60’s next week, if we can just get through the weekend with some snow and rain mix. Ugh!!

  10. Love the dress. Thanks for inspiring us for spring, even with all the cold weather we’ve had to deal with. Oh well lets hope for a warmer summer!!
    Have a great weekend

  11. Dress is so cute!! Your hair looks so so good too. Would love to know how you style it now. You so pretty!!!!! 🙂

  12. CUTE dress (I like the longer length for some of us working ladies and the BFTH, spot on today and much needed……

  13. Looks very nice on you. Love the knot tie idea on a dress.

I love the BFTH today! God’s mercy and grace astound me. And I’m so thankful I am washed in the blood of the Lamb!
