22 Days of Spring Fashion Recap

Welcome to 22 Days of Spring Fashion Recap! Jo-Lynne and I shared outfits during March and April, and today we are joining together to recap them (together we have 44 outfits for spring!).

It was a spring series to remember. It felt more like winter and between the snow, the cold, and the wind, I’m just starting to thaw out. (Well, I did have a break for a week when we took our Carribean cruise.)

22 Days of Spring Fashion RecapI felt like I had a pretty good mixture of outfits but I know they leaned towards casual and vacation styles. I need to add more workwear, but I’m not sure I’m good at business workwear.

I’m a dental hygienist by profession, and before I blogged full-time, I wore scrubs but the ladies up front dressed casual and would have worn something similar to my outfit on Day 17 although many of you said you couldn’t wear that to work. If you added a cute blazer, it might be more work appropriate.

If I had to wear business workwear, I would have to throw some trendy pieces in there somehow. I can’t do matchy-matchy. Anyway, just my thoughts. What do you typically wear to work??

  1. Your styles are adorable but I could not find the size I needed. I need xs burmuda shorts. Im sorry I could not find them. Thanks

  2. Thanks for the recap! I just ordered the purple tie front sweater!!! I can’t wait for warm weather and your summer series!

  3. Thank you again for the series! I think
my favorite is (3) and (13) love, love them!!
    Have a blessed evening!!

  4. I dress like numbers 15, 18, and 21 to work. I’m a speech pathologist and dress fairly casual, unless there’s high-profile meetings with attorneys. In that case, I’ll wear a jacket or even a suit.

I also enjoyed the movie and your Godly comments always bless!

  5. Hey Cyndi,
Thanks so much for the recap. I just love that outfit with the pink moto jacket and black jeans. I love it when something casual, like the Steve Madden sneakers, is contrasted with more dressy pieces like your handbag. That contrast looks so snappy! As always, you are an artist! Lots of love to you!

  6. Cyndi, I enjoy seeing your casual and feminine style. I don’t know how you pulled it off given the cold weather you have had, but you did! Thanks for the inspiration!

  7. Thanks for the recap. I always save them in my archives to look back at if I want. 🙂 You did a great job with a good variety. Glad you liked the movie. I liked it too. The way God works never ceases to amaze me.

  8. I really enjoyed and appreciated our 22 days of spring series. I have many good ideas to update my wardrobe. Thanks for BFTH each day also. So inspirational.

  9. Fashion has never been something I was consistently good at, and especially after wearing a uniform for almost 22 years I definitely needed some help. Cindy I found you by googling fashion over 40 Christian modest. Thank you for what you do!

  10. Thanks again for the Spring series Cyndi – it was great. I work full time, but the office wear has really changed since I started. Jeans only on Friday’s, but I can take a lot of the looks you style and just replace the jeans with pants or a skirt and I am good to go.

  11. Isn’t that movie so touching?? I couldn’t get the song out of my head for this entire past week after seeing it!!!
You always have such wonderful style, Cyndi! Thanks for constantly inspiring us women!!

  12. When I worked in an office (back in the days when hose were required ) I usually wore black slacks (everyday it seemed) and either a suit jacket and blouse or on ‘casual Friday’ a cardigan … Things have changed since then but from the work environment I am used to the men wear suits daily and they expect the office to dress the same.

Luckily I’m out of that world these days and can enjoy all of your awesome outfits 🙂

  13. Thank you for a great spring series, The outfits offered a lot of variety which fit the bill regardless of where we all may live as the weather is all over the place for sure. I’ve only been able to wear a few spring tops on the milder days or when having company in and don’t have to leave the house Ha!!! one way to wear something. Oh well our spring usually is slow coming I think I’m just over anxious especially when you post all these beautiful outfits. Your hard work and dedication to your blog and BFTH is well recognized and appreciated. Hope you have a great day. Looking forward to what you have for us next.

  14. Loved this series. The price points, the variety, the way you take casual looks and make them really fun and trendy kept me excited about reading your blog every day. And Beauty For The Heart always blesses and encourages and challenges me. Thanks Cyndi!
