Happy Monday! I hope you had a good Mother’s Day doing something you enjoyed. We spent the evening with my family, and both of our children were with us, so it was exactly what I needed. Nothing better than family time!
Recently I picked up this denim jumpsuit, and I wore it yesterday for out get together. It was so comfortable, and it’s under $30.
I wore my wedge sandals. These are a good height for shorts and dresses. I’m wearing the tan color.
If you’re looking for an inexpensive straw tote for summer, this one is perfect. It has colorful tassels that can be removed depending on your outfit.
I purchased my earrings last summer from BaubleBar, and they are no longer available.
Our weather was hot yesterday, and this was a great outfit for a family cookout.

I am praying for your family in making difficult decisions. We are facing something similar with my dad. He has been in the hospital/rehab since the beginning of April. The dr told us he probably has less than six months to live and should probably go to a nursing home because he needs round the clock care. He absolutely does not want to go so we took him home Friday. He was there less than 24 hours and we had to call an ambulance to bring him to the ER. It took 2 strong people to manage him. There is no way my 84 year old mom can take care of him at home. Praying for guidance and peace to make the right decision.

BFTH is just what I needed. My father, 91, has been pushing back HARD on some decisions my siblings and I have had to make on his behalf. He thinks he can drive and take care of himself and Mother. He cannot. He has had several “heart episodes,” pneumonia, and falls. He has not been honest about his health and has refused medication. Mother is younger but has dementia. He has told me several times that he never wants to see me again. I only see my mother when he is at the doctor with my sister. For some reason, he blames me most of all….and I am the youngest! Even though I know it is his range of illnesses speaking, it is still very painful.
Praying for you all with your father-in-law and all of you during this time.
Oh how I can identify with you, Brandye! My mom blamed me for EVERYTHING! I finally realized it was her fear she was angry at, but it still hurt me so much. I will be praying for you. 😘

So cute. I think you can wear anything. REALLY? Sorry to hear your father-in-law isn’t out of the woods yet. Just know prayers are with you and your family and decisions to be made. I’m glad you had a good family time yesterday. I bet it was great at your sisters house. Her house is so beautiful huh? I love Mother’s Day with my kids. I only was with 1 this year, but I’ll take what I can get. 🙂 Now that they are married and live some distance, it hard to always get us all together, but we look forward to my son’s wedding in June to all be together. 🙂 Isn’t Courtney’s C-section coming soon?
BFTH on target for me. Had a misunderstanding with friend couple days ago and not feeling too good now. I think she over reacted but maybe I should have not said what I did. I apologized but feel a little wedge between us. Maybe in time it will blow over.

I purchased this wedge, but it is very tight seems to be more for a narrow foot. Can you tell me if the shoe will stretch with wear. I love everything else about the shoe but it is a little to tight across my toes.

I’m sorry your father in law has not improved. I am continuing to pray for his healing but also that God will give your family the wisdom to make the right decisions and also for Gods continued peace and comfort.
