I’m sure many of you are watching the royal wedding this morning. What a beautiful ceremony. Everyone looks stunning! I’m happy for the couple, and it was fun watching the whole ceremony.

Faster Way to Fat Loss Bootcamp begins Monday!

I wanted to let you know that there’s a Faster Way to Fat Loss Bootcamp starting this Monday, May 21st. I know many of you have signed up in the past, but I still get so many questions.

Once you have done the program twice, you can join the VIP group. I have been in the VIP group for months, and I still like having the accountability.

Some of the facts about this program:

We have a window of time where we eat. Typically it’s between noon and around 8 pm every day. After 8 pm I begin my fasting state and will not eat until noon the next day. I do drink lots of water, and I drink coffee in the morning (of course!).

We also track our macros, and we do carb cycling. Amanda helps you learn all of this during the prep week.

Amanda has a HOME, GYM, and BEGINNER workout option.  I do the home workout option and sometimes the beginner option. I do have an elliptical machine to do my cardio and sprints. These can be done outside, but I like the elliptical better (you can use a treadmill).

I know you are going to ask if this program is easy. Yes and No. It does get easier the longer you do it because you get into a routine. But it is all about discipline which can be hard.

I do my best to do all the exercises but some of them I have to do the easier option. I modify if I feel it’s too difficult (I don’t love the jumping up and down exercises, I try to protect my knees.) I will say that I love the exercises and I’m always excited to do my workout.

You follow close to a paleo diet. Amanda is super helpful, and she encourages you all the way on this journey.

  1. I am interested in this. What are the dates of the next Boot Camps?
    I heard one is starting Aug. 13th, but I am on vacation through Aug. 15th and didn’t know if that would have too much of an impact for me to sign up for that one. Can you please respond through my email? Thanks!

  4. I have the same question as Carla, when does the next course begin after the May one? I’m very interested, but am not able to do this upcoming one and would love to do a later one! Prayers for your family during this difficult season.

    1. It seems like Amanda offers a new round around the 3rd or 4th Monday of every month so if you can’t do this one there will probably be another in June.

      I did the round that started in March. I thought it was a solid program and I liked the eating plan and workouts. I would not sign up for another round however. I did not feel like the support from the coaches was anything special and it felt a little rote to me. Since the content remains the same (although the workouts are slightly tweaked occasionally) I don’t see the value in signing up more than once. I am good at being accountable to myself, but others may find that useful so they sign up again. It is worth doing once if you want to try IF, carb cycling and the workouts.

    Do you know when the next course will start after May 21?Do they start every 6 weeks? I am very interested but have two trips coming up that will take me away from FB and a schedule that I can control.

  9. Good luck with the program & glad to hear your father in law is better. My Mom was in Greenville for 5 years while I was in Clinton, Ms and I drove to see her every 10 days so I know how difficult this can be. Finally my brother got her in a sister nursing home of the one in Greenville so transferring her was easy & he didn’t have to deal with the paperwork. It is wonderful having her near again!!!! Remember to not lose too much weight as you will need it the next decade of your life when face starts thinning. Collagen breaks down too & I am trying to rebuild it….so much fun! 🙂

  10. Thanks in part to you for recommending FWTFL! My husband and I are finishing up our 3rd week with Amanda, and I can already see a HUGE difference!! My clothes fit so much better, and my legs are looking leaner and stronger!! I love this program and have already signed up for my second round in June. IF has become my new lifestyle and it’s so easy. The workouts are a challenge for my 57 year old body, but I’m competitive and always love a good challenge!! Thanks again for your recommendation.   12. I joined the Faster Way program after reading about it on your blog and it has been gtreat. I have finally toned the jello legs I was getting as I got older. Thank you for recommending it. My only problem is now the clothes that were too small are too big! Ha ha!

    1. I used squash in place of noodles for my spaghetti recipe and I like it! The squash has more taste than spaghetti noodles. I have tried mixing cauliflower as well to my mashed potatoes. Implementing these healthier versions makes it a breeze to follow the carb cycle routine!
