Tie Tank Top with Shift Skirt

Happy Friday! This week has flown by since we are traveling. I’m headed back to Kentucky tomorrow, but we have one full day left in Salt Lake City.

I am loving the tie trend in tops this summer, and this tie tank top (that’s a tongue twister) from Target is perfect for the hot weather here in Utah. I think these style tops work great with skirts because you don’t have to worry about tucking them in.

This shift skirt is from LOFT, and it’s 40% off with code NEWNOW.  It could be styled with a white or black top too. It’s a super soft material that does not wrinkle.

I added my Nickel & Suede earrings for a pop of white and I’m carrying this round handbag again. The bag doesn’t have a lot of room, so I just carry the essentials. I’m taking it to my conference today and wearing it as a crossbody bag.

I have gotten a lot of wear out of my Sam Edelman sandals. They go with so many of my summer outfits, and I like that you can just slip them on and go.

Be sure to visit Jo-Lynne and see what she’s styling.

I’m so honored that you have taken time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and my favorite one, Instagram.

Beauty For the Heart~~“God is not looking for people who act like Christians. He wants us to be Christians! The word Christian means “anointed or Christlike one.” Jesus did not go around “being good”; he went around “doing good” and releasing all who were oppressed. What has he anointed you to do?”  -Lisa Bevere

Have a blessed day!

  6. Super cute outfit Cyndi. I love the color – Thought I could only wear burgundy in the fall, but it looks really great with the neutral slides.

  7. Love the outfit on you.

    Did you say size 2?!?!?

You have gotten so little that I can’t wear some of the outfits you showcase (I could when you first started your blog😞).

I could relate better back then. I’ve been following you for that long!

But good for you and all the success you’ve had over the years with your business. You really work hard and it shows.

  8. Cute as always Cyndi! I have to chuckle about your comments on the hot weather in Utah. I was in your neck of the woods (Mammoth Cave Nat’l Park, Natural Bridge State Park, Cumberland Falls State Park) about a month ago and was surprised by how hot and humid it was! I thought Kentucky was supposed to be cooler than Texas. 😉
