Striped Top From Old Navy Under $15

Hey there! Today I’ve got a summer short outfit, and the striped top from Old Navy is under $15 with the code STYLE. I’ve had this top for over a month, and I’m surprised it’s not sold out.

Striped Top From Old Navy Under $15I have worn this striped top several times, and I’ve already washed it, and it has held up nicely. This top will easily transition into fall.

My black shorts are on sale (40% off). They run big, so I recommend sizing down,

Striped Top From Old Navy Under $15These Sam Edelman flats have been one of my favorite pair of sandals this summer. They have them in white, and I wish I had ordered them, but I feel like it’s getting late in the season and I’m slowing down on purchasing summer items.

Striped Top From Old Navy Under $15The striped top has tie sleeves which is a cute detail. I did a front tuck and added a leopard print belt.

Striped Top From Old Navy Under $15This is an easy go-to summer short outfit that I can wear well into fall when the weather is still warm.

I’m so honored that you have taken time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and my favorite one, Instagram.

  1. I really like your hair and remember you beautiful bob cut. any advise on how to grow it out? Mine is not a very short but seems to take forever to grow.

  2. Sorry about this, but is just me or does everyone have the ad that pops up over the comments on the right side of the page? It is so annoying Not the one ad at the bottom of the page, but the box on the right….. you cannot get it to go away….. You cannot read the comments because of it. Is there a way to fix that? Thanks.

  3. Hello! This outfit was too cute to pass by – I stopped at Old Navy tonight and got a steal :)! I thought I was done purchasing summer outfits, yet when there’s a deal, it’s hard to say “no”! I am beyond excited for fall to come – there’s nothing better than pumpkins, leaves changing colors, football, pumpkin spice lattes, etc!! Fall won’t arrive in Nebraska until mid-October and it’s so short!
Thank you again for the outfit idea!! Can’t wait to wear it tomorrow!!

  4. Love this outfit, especially the nude sandals. It’s nice to see something more reasonably priced too! I’m in central California and it is 105 degrees today! No Fall clothes for months!!!

  5. Just ordered this top and like you, I am only buying transitional items and glad that’s what you’ll be styling more of. Thanks for sharing.

  6. So cute!! I have been really working hard at not buying summer clothes at this point of the summer, but that shirt is too tempting!!!😉

  7. I’m not really buying anymore summer clothes and not ready to buy Fall. I have plenty of Fall in my closet now. I really need to try to wear more of what I have but once Fall stuff comes out and I see things, its hard. Love the black and white you styled. Very cute. Good prices too. I haven’t found Old Navy to be good quality that last and doesn’t stretch out or fade. My go to is Loft.

  8. You’re right, Old Navy is having a great sale on clearance items. I bought the striped shirt and 3 more! Going to the beach in October so still buying a few summer items.

  9. Hi Cyndi,
Great idea for a post!! I live in Colorado so almost all my summer clothes are transitional. Can’t wait for more posts about seasonal transition outfits!! Blessings to you and your family <3

  10. Hi, Cindy! Thanks for all of the hard work that you do, it helps to keep the rest of us looking good! Just wondering what brand and size the black sleeveless mock neck top is that you’re wearing with the JCrew coat and red Halogen skirt in your try on session during the first day of the anniversary sale? It looks like it would be a good wardrobe staple?! Thanks!

  11. I have that top and love it! I wore it a lot in the Spring. It’s been so hot here in CO that I’m still deep in summer mode. But like you, I’m not making a lot of purchases. We do have a FL vacation coming up in September so I’m looking for just a few new summery things to bring on our trip.

    1. Me too! I’ve accidentally clicked on it before and was paying for it without knowing it and since then, it’s like $12.99/month. Other than free shipping which I usually got anyway, what’s the added value?

  12. Cute outfit! I ordered the shirt in navy and white earlier today. I also have those sandals and I love that they match so many different outfits. I’m still on the look out for some summer dresses as I have a beach vacation early next year and I know my choices at that time will be more limited. I also am looking forward to fall fashion and cooler weather.

  13. Great outfit, I love the belt with this outfit, I would not have thought to wear with this combination but I love it. I will be buying this shirt, very easy to transition to fall but it is also great in the ac. Thanks!

  14. Oh yeah cute outfit and that will transition nicely into fall. We can have a nice warm September and October during the days so those are the pieces I’m looking for now… although I just bought a couple summer pieces on sale but I’ll wear them this year and next year. Looking forward to what you have for those transition pieces…
    Blessings

  15. I love this outfit! It’s an easy one to recreate with pieces I have (cropped jeans instead of shorts). I love this time of year for summer shoe sales since it’s warm enough to wear them now.

I will buy transitional tops this time of year but not clothing that is solely for summer use. I am spending my $ on fall stuff, although our falls are short, most items can transition to winter with layering.

  16. I actually love the sales that happen all over at the end of July with summer clothes. It stays warm here long enough that I get to wear them a couple of times still, and yet haven’t killed the budget when I buy them!!
I think lately, I love embracing the present even in the seasons instead of always looking ahead!!
    XOXO
