Happy Thursday ladies! Today I’m sharing one of fall’s trends, the balloon sleeve. This style is showing up on sweaters, cardigans, and blouses.
Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale is still going on through August 5th, and most everything I’m wearing is on sale! There is still time to snag some great deals for fall.

Can we talk about these cute leopard heels? Mules and ankle boots are trending, but who can’t use a cute pair of heels? These heels are so comfortable, and I love the trendy heel. I ordered 1/2 size up, and they fit perfect. I can’t wait to wear these cute heels with a dress.

You look so beautiful! I’ve also heard that ruffles are coming back into fashion this Fall—-I was surprised but what goes around, comes around, I guess. Glad I didn’t throw my fluffy blouses out! (Come on, Autumn!!)
Since you asked, my fave piece(s) from the Nordstrom sale are a utility jacket I’ve already worn numerous times in the evenings, along with several pairs of shoes. I’m also loving my ‘endless summer’ t-shirt, as a throw back to my youth and those beach bunny days. That’s as close as I’ll get to those days any more, the bikini body is gone and I can’t stay out in the sun for long, at my age.
I could never do it, but girl, you are simply ROCKIN’ those shoes!!!!!

So fun to see the new trends! I’m petite so I’m wondering if the balloon sleeves are going to overwhelm my frame but you are small too Cyndi and look cute as a button in everything! BFTH- Yes!! I’ve had joy vs. happiness on my heart for a while now. I found that when I go and volunteer somewhere, or help the needy my joy multiplies and any feeling of unhappiness just flies out the door!! I choose joy!

I’m not sure I’m on board with the blouson sleeves – especially in cardigans or jackets. It looks great on you but you’re smaller. For us women who are a little bigger (size L or more) I’m wondering if the larger sleeve adds more visual weight? Which is not something I need. LOL.
