I’ve mentioned this before, but I see lots of balloon sleeve sweaters, dresses, and blouses for fall. This trend is growing on me, and I will be adding it to my fall wardrobe.
Balloon sleeves have a feminine flair, and they come in a variety of sizes and lengths, so you can wear the trend without going overboard with super dramatic sleeves, or there are plenty of dramatic ones out there if you want to indulge in them.

I think the balloon sleeve is very feminine! The navy stripe is my favorite.
Love this new sleeve….as I breast cancer survivor I have very large arms and even when I buy really large sized it just doesn’t work. There are many of us …someone should open up a market to help us!!!!
I am coveting this sleeve style and trying to pin down what to get. Have been seeing a lot of both pullover and cardigans. I have also heard it referred to as a “bishop sleeve”

I love this new trend and will also be jumping on board… I just bought a black sweater at Banana Republic Outlet and it has the blouson sleeve but not overkill and its very soft. I can see wearing it with jeans a lot. I plan on adding a few more, but wont go over board with how many or price and we don’t know how long it will be around?? however the ruffle sleeve doesn’t appear to be going anywhere though. Thanks for sharing… Another hot day here headed to the pool high 90’s and heat warnings for the rest of the week.. Hard to say if we will have fall at all this year LOL. Love the BFTH Thank goodness…

I like the balloon sleeve trend. I never did get onboard with the cold shoulder but this is one I will. I particularly like it in the blouses. So feminine, without being fufu.
Spending time one on one is the best, I found. Then each child can have your undivided attention and get to do things they like. Have fun!
the photo of Claire yesterday was too adorable. Looks like she is going to be photogenic like her big brother. How wonderful for you that you are close enough to your daughter and her family to be able to pop over for some special tiime with Colt.
I like the blouson sleeve on the lighter fabrics. In the sweaters it reads a little 1983 for me. I think this is a trend I’ll have to miss though. Sleeves really aren’t my jam anyway since I always end up wearing a jacket or sweater due to the cool temps at work.

I like some of the blouson sleeved pieces. I got that pink and ivory striped sweater from LOFT and those sleeves are a subtle blouson sleeve. Some are way out there though, huh!!??! lol
This is a very welcome trend for those of us with fuller arms. One more reason to look forward to Fall!
Cyndi, I like this trend. I have the Loft peasant blouse you show fourth down on the left in the grouping of pics. It is thin. I wish I had sized down. Very blousey. Look forward to your series.
