Twist Hem Top and Suede Loafers

Welcome back to 25 Days of Fall Fashion. Today I have a casual fall look with an olive twist hem top from LOFT and suede loafers from Target.

I love this style of top because there’s no guessing about tucking it in or leaving it out. It sits nicely with a cute twist hem. It’s lightweight which works well for early fall. The top would also look good dressed up with dress pants and a cute bootie,

Twist Hem Top and Suede Loafers Twist Hem Top and Suede LoafersI shared these suede flats from Target earlier but they are a stylish in-between shoe, and they’re under $30. I purchased my Rebecca Minkoff Crossbody bag during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.

It’s 50% off which is cheaper than it was during the sale. I feel like this is a classic style crossbody bag, and I can carry it for years.

Twist Hem Top and Suede LoafersTwist Hem Top and Suede LoafersI also purchased my AG jeans during the #NSale, but they aren’t on sale now. For a good and cheaper option, I have these BlankNYC jeans. They have a high waist and raw hemline, and they’re 40% off.

Twist Hem Top and Suede Loafers All the pieces I have on today can be mixed and matched with other pieces to create different outfits for fall.

  1. My son played football and we loved watching the games. My daughters two boys play football and love it. She enjoys watching the game and encouraging her sons to play their best. It’s a matter of personal preference and I think Colt should try both and decide which one is best for him.

  2. Love the casual pre-fall vibe of this outfit. Plus you make it look effortless. I also appreciate you sharing those affordable flats 😃

  3. Love the top, but don’t like the color it shows on the Loft site. I like the color it photographed in your pictures. You make the top look so much better than Loft model. Great Fall outfit. As for Colt decision…. baseball vs. football. I’d go for baseball for sure. Football is so dangerous in so many ways. Especially so young. My husband works in the medical field and he has always said the little brains are not ready for that type of impact, much less the older ones. If we were to do it all over again, we wouldn’t have let our son play. All the information started coming out during his High School years. We held him off until middle school at least, when all his friends started in 2nd grade. 🙁 Help give Courtney the information she needs to steer him toward baseball instead. I was never so happy when my son played his last HS football game. I was concerned every time he went out on the field. Just my two sense. 🙂 LOL

  4. A perfect Fall out fit. You look wonderful in it. It is hard to think about Fall when in Michigan the heat index is 100. The actual temp is 90.

  5. What a beautiful outfit! I love that the top is knit on the back and woven on the front–it looks like a very “fluid” fabric, flattering and comfortable, too. Absolutely a great look.

  6. I love, love, love this outfit! Olive is one of my go to colors for fall because it goes with almost everything in my closet. Do you find that Target shoes are a bit stiff and rough to the foot? I’ve bought a couple styles of theirs and for some reason they all feel rough. Is my imagination or do you agree?
I’m all for letting the kids explore all activities until they find one that they’re passionate about playing. Go Colt!

  7. Love this whole outfit I wouldn’t change a thing.. I do need to add a leopard print crossbody though… to my wardrobe.. I say go for the baseball . Our son played competitive ball from 6-20 years and it was a blast…

  8. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS OUTFIT… I WOULDN’T CHANGE A THING… I DO NEED TO ADD A LEOPARD PRINT CROSSBODY I KNOW I WOULD USE IT ALOT. AND IT IS A STAPLE IT SEEMS. I SAY GO FOR THE BASEBALL… OUR SON PLAYED COMPETITIVE BALL FROM 6-20 YEARS OF AGE AND WE LOVED EVERY MINUTE… HAVE A GREAT DAY… I THINK ITS MONDAY TOO…ha

  9. I love everything about this outfit… I definitely need to add a twist top to my wardrobe. I think the secret is to find one the right length on you so it doesn’t add bulk where its not needed… The colors in this outfit scream fall to me for sure and I think I will add a leopard print crossbody too for a nice change.Again Leopard print seems to be a classic… Love this whole outfit, and you look gorgeous in it…. I say to go for the baseball…. Our son played competitive ball from age 6 up to 20 years…. It was a blast and in the off season he played hockey… He stills plays ball today with his dad and a bunch of guys in a summer league… . Our daughter 25 still plays soccer and has since she was 5 years old.. They just won a the soccer cup last night…. Then we will soon be on to indoor soccer for the winter months…It never ends…As I sat there last night I said to my husband it’s hard to believer we’ve been doing this for 20 years now… Doesn’t that age ya… Ha Have a great day…
