Navy Blouse + Olive Pants

Happy Friday ladies! One of my favorite outfit combos for fall is navy and olive, so that’s why I was excited to find this pretty navy blouse from Social Threads.

This is the perfect work to weekend blouse.

Navy Blouse + Olive PantsThe front of the blouse has a slight v neck with pintuck detail.  It also has tab sleeves if you want to roll them up.

Navy Blouse + Olive PantsI did a front tuck and left the back hanging out.

Navy Blouse + Olive PantsThese Sole Society slingback sandals are a favorite of mine for fall. I’m wearing the tobacco color. My handbag is also a staple piece for fall.

Navy Blouse + Olive PantsNavy Blouse + Olive PantsHard to see my earrings but they are a tortoise hoop, and they are gorgeous. I can’t find my necklace online, this one is a similar option and it’s the same brand.

Now, head over and see what Jo-Lynne is styling for fall!

I’m so honored that you have taken time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and my favorite one, Instagram.

Beauty For the Heart~~“If you’ve lived long enough, you know this one thing to be true. Life is not perfect. No marriage is perfect; no family is perfect, no person either. It all comes with bumps and bruises, struggles and hurdles, and often, lessons and truths learned deep in dark places.

It’s in those times we have the greatest potential to see the work of God in our lives, redeeming, bringing hope, setting free, strengthening faith, inspiring hope. He is what holds all of our pieces together, the broken and painful moments of the past, the pressure, stress, and overwhelming feelings of the present, as well as the uncertainty and fear we may sometimes have about the future.

God sees our circumstance, knows the pain of what we walk through, and He has a plan.  The very God of the universe is intimately acquainted with all of our ways, He never grows weary, He is with us, and He whispers our name.  Keep walking through. You’re never alone. No matter what struggle or grief you’re facing today, there’s life still…on the other side of it all.” -Debbie McDaniel

Have a blessed day!

  1. Cyndi! Can you help? I would love a pair of these slack but the website is listing them in 24,25,26, etc. I am typically a size 4; which size did you choose? Thank you!

  2. Love that combination of colors. Perfect. It looks so different to be seeing long sleeves already but will be here soon. September is still hot in Mississippi but you are further north. We need to be ready for it!!! Thanks for sharing this cute cute outfit!

  3. Hi Cyndi Love the entire outfit. On the link for the blouse, it looks like you can see through her blouse. Are you wearing something underneath?Thx so much!

  4. Love, love, love your outfit! I have similar clothes in my closet right now that I could put that together. I just never thought about it. Thank you
    for your inspiration!

  5. Oh my goodness, Cyndi, thank you so much for today’s BFTH! I really needed this today in a big way. Thank you for allowing God to speak through your blog. I love the outfit and I’m totally ordering the earrings! Have a blessed day!

  6. I never thought of Navy and olive until you showed us last year on your blog. I’ve been wearing it now. Its like black and navy, but much better I think. Loved the BFTH. Spot on. 🙂 Have a good dinner, enjoying the beautiful weather.

  7. Love navy and olive together! I recently bought a navy bell sleeve blouse, and I already have olive skinnies. I can wear it with some metallic sandals I have now, and wear the same outfit with my olive green suede booties later in the fall! I love when I have things that will span seasons.

  8. Thank you for sharing Social Threads website! There are so many fabulous options on their website!

On another note, thank you for your website! 😉. Your style is perfect for my work /casual life style! Love it!

  9. I am horrible at figuring out what colors go together. As a lady in my 50’s I don’t want to be a dowdy mom. So glad to be able to follow your trends as I want to look as good as I feel!! Thank you very much, loving all of your styles!!

  10. I have a navy top that I have been struggling to match to pants. Thanks for this. I will try olive. I am in south Louisiana and we are still sweltering in the heat!!

  11. Love this color combo! Going to copy with anew olive/tabacco pair of skinnie jeans and navy top I just got from H&M. So funny to read “screened porch”! In Colorado they are basically non-existent. We don’t have the bugs or humidity so we eat, entertain and enjoy the outside outside! 🙂 Have a great weekend!

  12. Love this outfit, and here in California it is in the 90’s this week. I am so ready for fall. Your hair look so beautiful. Thank you for shopping for so many… Hope you have a blessed weekend.

  13. GM! We’ve had several days of rain here in South Texas and when this happens it usually cools thing off, and it feels a bit more like fall today😃. Love those pants but which they came in petite.

  14. Love Navy tops! Would you say this blouse is roomy? I am between a medium and large in most tops? Would you size up or down in this top?

  15. Good morning, Cyndi! As we approach fall, are you planning any posts on styling the little white booties that I’m seeing? Tory Burch has some gorgeous ones….have you seen them? Im trying to decide if the white bootie is a trend that will pass or if it is worth the investment. Just curious about your thoughts since you are in close touch with many brands/designers. Thanks! Have a blessed weekend.

  16. You are such a great example and encouragement to me and I absolutely adore your sense of style. Thank you for your investment in my life through this blog.

  17. Amen to that beautiful BFTH:) I love your outfit I don’t think I own a navy blouse as I usually gravitate towards black but I love the combo. I just saw hoop earrings like the ones your wearing and I think I will give them a whirl. Looks like this is new in jewelry for fall? We are going to be in the mid 70’s as well so may feel more fall like. It’s been hard when the weather has been so hot and unable to really make the transition in clothes…. I’m heading out soon to hopefully pick up a few fall pieces that are not too warm for this very reason. Our fall is short…
Have a great weekend. I think painting is on my list ha!!! But hubby will be assisting.

  18. I love EVERYTHING about this outfit! When I saw you sneak peek on IG yesterday I couldn’t wait for the full post. I can see me wearing this on Fridays to work, on the weekends, and even to church.
BFTH is spot on today too – not to be cliché but “been there, done that” and God has pulled, pushed and been there every step of the way. I cannot imagine going thru this life without my savior.
