Welcome back to 25 Days of Fall Fashion! Today I’m sharing a color trend for fall: yellow. I love this color although it’s not a color I can wear near my face, I still want to add it to my fall wardrobe.
The perfect solution, these yellow girlfriend chinos from LOFT. They’re soft, with just a touch of spandex.
Since we still have warm weather in September and October, I paired these chinos with a flutter sleeve top.
My chain bracelet is from JCPenney’s, and it’s not online, but the mesh bracelet with pearls is from Sole Society. It has a magnetic closure to make it easy to put on and take off. I also added a pearl ring.
When the weather turns cooler (and it was chilly when I was taking these pictures), I’ll add a chunky cardigan.
This cardigan is almost sold out, so this cardigan is a good option.
I can think of lots of ways to style these girlfriend chinos for fall. They’re $25 off today so add them to your fall wardrobe!
Flutter Top (I’m wearing an XS)// Yellow Chinos (I’m wearing a size 2)//Oversized Cardigan (similar option here)//Necklace//Ring//Bracelet//Earrings//Booties//Kate Spade Handbag (my color is no longer available)
Now, head over and see what Jo-Lynne is styling for fall!
I’m so honored that you have taken time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on Facebook, Pinterest, and my favorite one, Instagram.
Beauty For the Heart~~“Time is passing. Yet, for the United States of America, there will be no forgetting September the 11th. We will remember every rescuer who died in honor. We will remember every family that lives in grief. We will remember the fire and ash, the last phone calls, the funerals of the children.” —former President George W. Bush
Have a blessed day!
Hi Cyndi! I love your posts and inspirational quotes. I was wondering if you could style these pants with another color scheme. Maybe something blue??? I purchased these after seeing your post (and I love them) but would love to see some other color ideas. Thank you for your help!!
Sharon, for fall and winter, I would go with a chunky off-white sweater or a burgundy.

Groooaan…I just gave away a pair of pants just that color. I should know that everything cycles back into style (in some form) every few years…
Just found you on Pinterest. Love, love, love your style!
Thank you Melissa!
I love what you added today about 9/11
We need to pray for the families still
hurting from that day.
I love the burgundy handbag with the
“Fall” yellow, great combo!!
Also, the bottom photo of you Cyndi is
stunning! You are such a beautiful lady
inside and out!!
Have a blessed evening!
I really like what you said’ They say time heals but I think God heals and he uses time, and for that I’m thankful!’ That is such a good way to look at things. AND of course I LOVE this outfit. Especially the pop of color with the purple purse. Your outfits are always cute.
Very cute! I just signed up again for your emails since for some reason they quit showing up in my inbox. Strange I know. I love seeing your fashion post!
Very cute outfit, but I still think it says Spring to me. Could you let us know the other ways you said you could see styling the yellow pants for Fall/Winter?. I love the style and print of the blouse. So cute. You look great in this outfit. I love the chunky sweater. It made it look more like a fall outfit. Hard to believe how time has gone since 9-11. Loved BFTH.
I have been noticing the yellow in the store its so pretty. the out fit you have on is so cute and love the purse.
Cyndi- Is your hair the same length in the back as it is on the sides or is it cut in a long bob? It always looks so cute!! Love the cardigan too, we will be needing them before long.
Have a great day!!
It’s cut a little shorter in the back.
You are so right- it’s not the time that heals, it’s all God!
This is a really pretty outfit on you! Thanks for giving a different perspective on yellow! 😊
Blessings to you!
I like yellow but it doesn’t like me so I will be wearing it on my bottom half. lol
I love this outfit and planning to purchase all three pieces. I don’t wear much of a heel…could you recommend a different type of shoe for this outfit.
Glad you liked the outfit! These would be a good option http://bit.ly/2p0OBTK
Wow! You look just so cute in this outfit and I love the purse. Thanks for helping me figure out to wear this trend without looking silly. You are so fabulous Cyndi and I really appreciate your blog!
Your BFTH was nice today. My husband and I (Canadian) were just in New York for our Anniversary and made sure to stop by the memorial there. It was a day that impacted the whole world.
Interesting never thought of yellow as fall color but we see it in nature all the time! I wonder how it would look with navy? Cindy you look beautiful
What a great idea! I like the color yellow, but it does not look good on me. But as a bottom piece, where it’s not next to my face, I think it might look nice. I just don’t think of yellow when I think of pants. Glad I saw this.
The booties are cute, too – but alas, I am too tall for any kind of heel. They’re adorable though. Flip flops and ballet flats are about all I can pull off. 😝
A beautiful BFTH for today,,, May we never forget.. Also such a cherry outfit and love the fact that the purse is still in style. I bought that color last year in Kate Spade, and was hoping it would be on trend again this year. Also if I click on the Sole Society link but order different items (leopard print scarf and crossbody bag) do you still get the credit?
Blessings
Karen
Thank you for BFTH……..
Cute outfit……..
Hi Cyndi,
Cute outfit as always. I do like the yellow pants for a change from a typical fall color. I just noticed that you never seem to wear a belt. Is there a reason for that?
Beautiful tribute to 9-11 on your BFTH today. I think it’s a day that all Americans will never forget and always honor.
I would have never thought to buy yellow pants but you styled them so well that I could see wearing them this fall. I loved that those VC booties go with everything but they just didn’t work for me. Too tall and too wide around the ankle 😢
