Welcome to Day 24 of 25 Days of Fall Fashion! I can’t believe how quick this series has gone, but I’m excited for October. It’s a beautiful month here in Kentucky.
Last night I attended a small blogger event at Sugarboo & Co. It’s a business here in Lexington (it’s also in a few other states). I wore a faux leather jacket with a floral blouse.
I have purchased several faux leather pieces in the last few weeks. I love the look of leather, and it is definitely trending this fall.
The ruffle detail on this jacket is so cute and feminine.

My black booties are Vince Camuto from last year. This is the updated bootie this year. It has a more pointy toe which I really like. I’m carrying a Michael Kors crossbody bag. This is my splurge handbag purchase for the year!

I have a faux leather jacket that many think is real leather. I probably wear it more than my leather ones. The ruffle on the black one is a cute detail.
I’m a planner and need all my ducks lined up ahead of time. Working under that kind of pressure would totally stress me out. I want to be relaxed when my company arrives.

I decided to take the plunge this year and bought some faux leather leggings from the Loft. They are sooo comfy and I have already worn them a few times to work and out to dinner. Not sure if i could pull off the jacket though. It looks great on you!
I love a faux leather jacket. I have one that I don’t wear very often but I need to change that. I think the scarf I ordered from Sole society will look nice with it to. I had a busy week as well so I’m ready for the weekend.. We are headed to the valley to pick apples and pumpkins, with my daughter and her fiance and our son’s girlfriend. I’m ready to finish decorating the front porch. Just bought a new wreath so its starting to look like fall, and my firing bushes are turning red:)

Love this look! I have a real leather jacket from yrs ago that I can’t seem to get rid of;) . But I do like the faux leather as well. I’m with you on working better under pressure .. lol. I’m sure you’ll get everything done w time to spare!
First I love the pic of you and your sister. You are so blessed to be close to your sister in such a wonderful way. I actually tried on a real leather jacket for the first time in a while and boy was it heavy. I think I’m more comfortable in the faux leather jackets because they are light weight and perfect for this time of year. Love the whole outfit and enjoy your dinner with your family.

LOL I do follow both you and your sister! I didn’t know at the time you were sisters but put two and two together pretty fast because of your sweet Mom! I have been loving all the fall wear you’ve been showing but I find I can’t wear all the short dresses anymore. Still your just full of great ideas so keep them coming! BFTH……an everyday read!
