Floral Dress from Macy’s

Welcome ladies to Day 25! It’s been such a fun series, and I think I’m ready for fall! Today I’m styling a floral dress from Macy’s that would be perfect for a fall wedding.

I’m a sucker for florals and bell sleeves, and this dress from Macy’s has both. Plus, it’s on sale right now for under $50. Yes!

Floral Dress from Macy'sI decided to style this dress for my pictures with black heels, but there are a lot of different options. I snapped a few pictures of the dress with different shoes below.

Floral Dress from Macy'sFor reference, I’m 5’6″ so if you’re shorter than me, the dress will be longer on you. I wish 5’4″ Ha!

Okay here are some more options, depending on your style. First up, tall tan boots.

Floral Dress from Macy'sNext up, I tried some red booties.

Floral Dress from Macy'sIf you’re one of my trendy ladies, you might want to add white booties. I think this is a cute look.

Floral Dress from Macy'sIf you don’t want to show your legs or you think the dress is too short, black tights with a black heel is an option.

  1. I LOVE the dress and you look so cute in all the different shoes. Every time I try to put a bootie or boot with a dress, I think it looks ridiculous. I’m thinking because my dress is too long? They usually fall at or around my knee so I don’t know. Maybe I have the wrong type of booties.

  2. Pretty dress, but I would love if it reached just at or below the knee, as I am in my forties, and find that length looks so classy. Black sheer hose and long, black boots just below the knee, I think would be really complimenting, but I love all the other fun options as well, especially for younger gals. Bell sleeves are always fun! Love the 25 days of fall fashion and all the wonderful outfits! Blessings~

  3. Very pretty dress and I love the dress with
the black and tan boots, perfect for that
    “Fall” look!
    Have a blessed evening!!

  4. Love the dress what beautiful colors. I like the shoes and then the black knee boots would be next. I’m 5’3 so the length would be great. Thanks for a great 25 days of fall fashion. Where did the time go? Now to wear it all..

  5. I love the tan boots which I didn’t think I would but I did. They seem to lengthen the look like a nude shoe. I would probably wear that option or black tights with a tall to the knee black boots. All are great options & thanks for giving us great suggestions to wear this look. Have a wonderful weekend!

  6. Beautiful dress! I like the black heels, and the tan and black boots. Don’t much like the white booties or the red ones for me, but it all is really pretty!

That BFTH from Lysa Terkeurst has had me all week!!

  7. Beautiful dress, but I would worry about it being a little short on my 5’8” frame. Still, it’s beautiful on you, and I especially like it with the black tights and booties. It’s amazing how the different shoe choices really change the look. 🌷

  8. The dress is very pretty but not all of us wear dresses that short. A lot of the dresses you show are very short. What about those of us who wear a longer length. Do you ever show over the knee dresses.?

  9. I like the black over the knee boots best and then red booties. Great post seeing all the options. I didn’t really care for the black tights…..Seem too opaque for the bright floral dress for some reason. Thanks for the great FALL series. I can’t believe it’s time to start thinking of Christmas shopping but it is. Can you help out with gift ideas for grown married kids? So hard.

  10. This is such a cute dress and I love that you snapped some pics of different options. It looks so trendy with the red or white booties, so sophisticated with heels and/or tights and really fun with tall boots. My favorite look was with the tan boots. I could definitely see myself wearing it like that.
As always, thank you for your encouragement through BFTH. It is such a great feature of this blog.

  11. I like the nude boot and black heels but I would probably personally do a nude wedge (just cause I’m obsessed with wedges) or the nude boot.

  12. Such a pretty dress. I love it styled with booties or boots for day but definitely with heels for night. I’m not sure I like it with the tights. They seem heavy compared to the dress. Perhaps, black pantyhose would have a lighter look.

  13. Hi Cyndi,
I absolutely love the way you look in everything. I wish I could pull that off but i just can’t seem to lose this bloat! Anyway, I would look more like the Harper Valley PTA mom in those white boots or over the knee boots! You rock it!
    Keep on keepin’ on,
    Robin
