3 Workwear Outfits from JCPenney

Happy Friday! Many of you ask for affordable workwear so today; I have 3 workwear outfits from JCPenney. Of course, they aren’t only for work; I would wear any of these outfits to church too.

Let me say, that the accessories (heels, boots, handbag, and jewelry) aren’t from JCPenney, only the clothes. Here are the 3 workwear outfits.

The black pants are comfy, but they only have the tall size online. I ordered two pairs that were more structured but they ran big, so I had to return them. I purchased these in the store, and their selection of small sizes are very limited. So while I will wear these pants, I would have preferred a slim, structured pant

First up, I have an animal print blouse. This is great for workwear, and it comes in several different colors. I like the 3/4 sleeve, and when the weather turns cold, you can easily add a cardigan.

Next, I have a pullover sweater. It is a cozy sweater that hangs a little longer in the back. It comes in several colors and will also be cute with jeans for a casual weekend look.

Lastly, I have a plaid dress. I love this dress; it just says fall. It’s comfortable, stylish and I think it will be cute for work or church.

3 Workwear Outfits from JCPenney My tan boots are going to get a lot of wear this fall and winter. I purchased them during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale in July, and I’m so glad I did.

I’m so honored that you have taken time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and my favorite one, Instagram.

Beauty for the Heart~~Today I wanted to share something a little different here. Some of you may know Shaeffer from Shaeffer Told Me To.

She asked if I would share about her cousin’s 3-year-old son Holt and his battle with cancer. He has a rare form of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma called Anaplastic Large T-Cell lymphoma.

They are a sweet family that loves Jesus, but they’re going through a challenging season and could use some help. Shaeffer knows I have some amazing readers and she thought you might help this family.

No donation is too small, and she has three ways to help them financially. You can go HERE to find all the information.

This video of Holt is a tear jerker. Oh, that we would all have childlike faith!

Have a blessed day!

  1. Cyndi,
Finding lots of great tips on your blog…I noticed you occasionally wear a bracelet that looks gold, had chunky links and you’ve mentioned it’s yours…maybe hinting that you already had it personally….any chance you remember where you got it or where you can find something like it? You recently had it on in the November 2018 JCPenny post wearing the Plaid brown dress. I think you’ve layered it with a silpada bracelet and your watch!
Love your style and appreciate modest, God honoring fashion!
    Thank you for your time-jennifer
Ps my screen only shows one line so I can’t proof my email🤪

  2. Stylish and affordable! I like all the pieces except the pants, which look more like leggings; this wouldn’t be appropriate in my workplace without a longer top (and probably not so flattering for my body either) but I could pair either top with pants already in my closet. BTW: you say you’re wearing a size 4 but the link is to ‘pants’ that are sized S,M,L

  3. Hi Cindi. I love the plaid dress and actually ordered it yesterday but tall boots don’t work well for me (fat knees). What would you suggest as a replacement? Any thoughts? Blessings on your day day! Thanks. 🙂

  4. After that emotional video on Holt, I can’t even think of commenting on fashion. I can’t even imagine what they are going through. I’m so thankful they know the Lord. Thank you Cyndi for being a platform to help them raise money. I know you have a lot of readers and many to give that can add up to a lot for this family. Such a sweet boy. I know you probably just want your sweet babies home to hug. Blessings.

  5. For precious Holt- please have them look at Lighthouse Family Retreat. It is a Christian ministry that provides a week long retreat at the beach. We serve 10-12 families each week. The
retreat is free for all families walking
    through childhood cancer.

  6. All so cute! JCP is one of my go to places for stylish and affordable clothes. And they send you coupons! About the tall boots…the website shows them stick straight but yours are slouchy. I like the slouchy look, but wonder why they don’t show them that way if that’s what happens when you wear them. The reviews are all over the place about the sizing too. I like them but would want to try on in store to see how they fit and how they act when wearing.

  7. The dress is a winner. Unfortunately, tow JCPENNEY stores have closed in my area. It’s a 50+ mile drive to the nearest store. JCPenney was also my go too for clothing.

Question…..Fastest WAy to Wight loss program. Can you tell me more about it? How much weight did you lose? How does it compare to other diets you have tried. When is the next sign up?

    Thx, Tessa

  8. I really enjoy reading your blog. I have the same pants your are styling and I do like them. Your link is to the knit version which come in S-M-L sizes. These are the Worthington secretly slender leggings which come in pant sizes,

  9. I have to disagree with you about these pants as appropriate for work. They seem to be ill-fitting but, besides that, they are too slim to be acceptable in a conservative professional office.

  10. I notice you no longer have the link to Jo Lynn. what happened?
Love these outfits – I don’t wear heels so wonder how the look would change with flats.
I wish the family struggling with child cancer blessings.

  11. We watched our nephews 2 year old daughter, go through the battles of that very same cancer. After three years of treatments, endless months in the hospital, endless tears and hours of prayer, she is in remission. She just celebrated her 2nd year of remission. She is now a very happy, pretty little girl, doing very well in school. Thus far no long term side effects. Then a cousin, to me, granddaughter was born with cancer, she is deaf now, due to the chemo and will need special schooling for deaf as well as learning disabled children. She too is a sweet little thing with a smile on her face and a deep caring love for animals. Now her mommy has cancer, and its not related to the cancer she was born with. There is hope and power in prayer. No one deserves cancer!

  12. Cyndi, thank you so much for sharing. Your support means the world to me. And isn’t the video so beautiful? My friend Andrea made it, and it captures Holt’s incredible and inspiring faith so perfectly. THANK YOU! xoxo

    1. Sheaffer……thank you for all you seem to be doing for this dear family. So emotional, I can’t imagine. I pray we can all bond together in prayer and giving. Blessings to you and this family. Praying for HOLT today and I will put him on my prayer list and bible study prayer chain.

  13. I love your posts with clothes from JC Penney! It’s one of my favorite stores for their styles and affordable prices! Love the black pants in these two outfits. I could easily wear all these outfits to work. Thanks for sharing this! 🙂
    Jana

  14. Love all three! The plaid dress is adorable and looks cozy.
Cyndi, you mentioned you would have preferred a more slim, structured pant. What exactly do you mean by that?

  15. Your style is very conservative and cute. I am in love with those boots! I am not usually a dress girl, but i am going to shift my ways for this season.
