Happy Friday ladies! It’s no secret that I have a weakness when it comes to shoes! I love, love, shoes! Every fall I invest in a few really good basics from Nordstrom including booties.
While I don’t love cold weather, I do love cold weather fashion. Comfy sweaters and boots are the best!

I have noticed pointy toe boots trending this season. These sole society booties have a striking pointed toe with a stretch shaft so you can pull them on and go.
I get asked all the time what socks I wear with my booties and these no-show socks work well with booties.

Beauty for the Heart~~Some words are mentioned quite a few times in scripture and when they are, I think there’s a reason. Abide is mentioned over one hundred times.
Christ is reminding us to abide. Abide in Him, in His word, and in His grace. It takes discipline to slow down and remain in God’s word but without it, we can’t live victoriously.
Here are some scriptures that remind us to abide in Christ.
If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. John 15:7
Anyone who goes too far and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God; the one who abides in the teaching, he has both the Father and the Son. 2 John 1:9
Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. John 15:4
Let’s be intentional today and abide in Him.

I’m like you, Cyndi. I don’t care for cold weather, but I love cold weather clothes. I bought a really cute pair of pointed toe booties from Nordstrom last month, and love them! Nordstrom is about 45 minutes away from me, ( which isn’t bad ) however, I love that they offer free shipping and have the BEST customer service. I order many items online, and it’s truly become my favorite place to shop.

I love the look and am getting so much help from your posts! If you need help sleeping eating a banana will put you to sleep right away. Also, no high protein foods before bed they will keep you awake so a good time for those carbs you love.
Love this look, is totally my look too. I just bought a pair of low heeled boots similar to the ones you are styling. I also bought a new pair of skinny jeans. Question to you on the length your jeans should be when wearing boots like you have on? Or is there no rule? I see your turned your jeans up a bit, so it appears the jeans should just ride above the top of the boot, but I would love to hear your thoughts.
Love your outfit looks perfect for a fall day and just add a coat when the temps drop. I bought two new pair of booties last year( a taupe color and cognac) and love them … Now that we are getting some cooler temps I can finally wear them. Thanks for the verses. YES!!!! I LOVE cold weather fashion- but not a fan of being cold!! Lol!! And I LOVE booties/boots especially!!! While it’s rainy again today, I feel that narrows my options of the booties I have in my closet, because I’m concerned about getting them wet and ruining them… any suggestions on that issue? Spray them with waterproofing??

Another rainy day in Texas 😟so booties are the best in this weather. Do you use anything to help protect or make your boots water proof? Also what color are you wearing. They look grey but I don’t see a grey option? Maybe it’s the porcini and they just look grey in your pics?

I can only wear flats. Can you please provide some outfits with flats? Finding booties with a flat heel is almost impossible. Any ideas?
