Ruffle Trim Shift Dress under $25

Happy election day! I voted early this morning, and I hope you’ll vote too. It’s a privilege, and I’m thankful to all the men and women who sacrificed so we can vote.

Today I’m sharing a ruffle shift dress that is under $25 from Old Navy. I wore this dress and faux leather jacket to church on Sunday.

Ruffle Trim Shift Dress under $25I’m wearing the burgundy color, but it also comes in black and white. It’s made with 82% rayon, 16% polyester,  and 2% spandex. So the dress doesn’t wrinkle, and it has a relaxed fit.

After church, on Sunday we had lunch at our house and then later in the day we went and visited my mother-in-law. The dress is so comfortable; I wore it all day!

Beauty For The Heart~~Those who leave everything in God’s hand will eventually see God’s hand in everything.

Faith is to have complete trust or confidence in someone. Hebrews 11:1 says, Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

  • It takes faith to have a relationship with Christ.
  • It takes faith to put everything in His hands.
  • It takes faith in the midst of life’s storms to have peace that passes all understanding.

Maybe your faith is wavering today.

Cling to Joshua 1:9, Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.

Have a blessed day!

  1. Super cute, as always! Could I pull off a similar look if the dress was black and white, black tights and booties, but with a denim jacket? Love Vince and Amy! Enjoy every minute!!

  2. Love the dress, just my style. I am petite, 5’2″ so I need petite styles. Any chance of adding info like comes in petite sizing? Would so appreciate it. I love the devotional thoughts, such a great way to start each day.

  3. As always, you look so classy and beautiful. I thank you for all the hard work you put into it each and every day for us as readers. Different note – I am so jealous of you going to Vince and Amy’s 12 Days of Christmas at the Ryman. We lived in Nashville for close to five years and every year we lived there that was part of our Christmas tradition. They are amazing and it’s a great Christmas tradition! Plus you will be pleasantly surprised by guests who will be there with them. It’s a wonderful evening!!

  4. I’ll bet the black and white dress would look
great on you too! You will love seeing Amy and
Vince, I always thought he had such a spiritual
    sounding voice!!
    Have a blessed evening!!

  5. Hubby and I saw Amy Grant & Vince Gill last Christmas for the very first time in Nashville at the Ryman Auditorium. Fun, fun! Amy Grant was my first “favorite” Christian artist while in high school. Can’t believe how time flies.

  6. Thanks for all of your great outfits and links!! Loving this blog 😊

My husband and I saw Amy Grant and Vince Gill last year. It was a last minute Christmas treat and I would love to attend a second time. Enjoy!!
Nashville is one of our favorite getaway spots.

  7. Hello,
I enjoy seeing you style dresses in all seasons! My question is, what do you wear underneath, to keep the garment cling-free? Do the undergarments change season to season? I used to wear dresses to church many years ago, and had the typcial lace trimmed slips. I can only imagine that technology and styles have changed over the years- ha! I would like to start wearing dresses again, but I’m pretty sure I would feel more comfortable knowing what to wear under them to ensure a proper, cling-free fit. Thanks and have a blessed day!

  8. This is such a cute outfit, one I would wear and will order. Question, how do you keep a dress from sticking to your leggings????? I hate that. Hope you have a solution.

Haven’t see Vince and Amy but would love to.

  9. I have been following you for 2-3 yrs now and live your look! Today I am curious if you’re wearing the leather Sam Edelman boots or the suede pair, with the Old Navy dress?

Blessings on in this election day,

    Cindy W.

  10. I have seen Vince and Amy with the Dallas Symphony for a Christmas concert and it was wonderful. I can’t imagine seeing them at the Ryman! That would definitely be a bucket list even for me.

  11. Cyndi….Love the detail ruffle on the shoulder of the sleeves! So feminine. My color is also red which I like to wear & also have brown hair. Have an awesome day and looking forward to seeing what your having for Thanksgiving (prolly some of the usual traditions). I will be making our Thanksgiving dinner a few days early because we will be on a cruise at Thanksgiving and still want that time of cooking to get me into the spirit!!

Blessings to you and your family

  12. Hi Cyndi!
Love this outfit on you! Do you think this would be appropriate for
a Memorial service? The BFTH is just what I needed to hear-Thank you!

  13. I love everything about this outfit. I love A-line dresses and/or a slight fit and flare dress. This is beautiful!

  14. Love this outfit and I would totally wear it.. I wish I had seen this before the 50% off family and friends ended on the weekend here. Oh well I did get another cute dress that I had seen on another blogger, but I may have to go back and check this one out… Its really cute. I don’t over dress on Sunday’s anymore seems like no one does, but I still like my dresses for Sunday. Love your BFTH such encouraging words. Sounds like a fun concert. I’m going to start playing my Christmas music this weekend and I love Amy Grants Christmas. I’ve already taped and watched a bunch of Hallmark Christmas movies and just finished decorating the inside of the house yesterday. Now for the outside. I really like to just enjoy December as much as I can without running myself ragged.
    Have a blessed day

  15. Cute dress I just don’t wear many dresses anymore. Even our church is very casual so I feel over dressed in a dress. But I do appreciate you styling some Old Navy clothes. Have a wonderful day!

  16. Hi Cyndi!
I really like your outfit and can even see myself wearing something similar. It’s just trendy enough yet still classic.

  17. My husband and I went to see Amy & Vince last year in Kansas City and it was so fun. I grew up on Amy Grant and it was pretty cool seeing her on stage again. She’s as lovely as ever. And the Christmas music definitely gets you in the spirit. Enjoy!

  18. I went to the Amy & Vince Christmas show at the Ryman last year. It is absolutely fantastic. You will love it. A little Nashville tip – park at the public library which isn’t a very far walk to the Ryman. $8 parking all the time. Downtown event parking is $25 to $40. What a great city to visit. If you have some more time while you are there – look into touring Fontanel (Barbara Mandrell’s former log home), and the Hermitage, President Andrew Jacksons former home, now a museum. Both are very good.
