Holiday Style with JCPenney

Happy Friday! Today I’m teaming up with JCPenney and sharing some Holiday Style. I love that JCPenney is a one-stop shopping destination with stylish and affordable fashion.

You do not have to spend a fortune to look festive this Christmas. JCPenney offers a variety of high quality, stylish pieces at a great value.

Holiday Style with JCPenney This gorgeous faux fur peacoat is perfect for cold weather. I love that you can wear it with the faux fur or remove it and have a plain black peacoat.

Holiday Style with JCPenney Holiday Style with JCPenney Since we’re talking holiday style, let’s cue the snow! Haha! Nothing says Christmas like a little bit of red and this sweater with the embellished neckline is under $30.

Holiday Style with JCPenney It’s hard to see in my pictures, but my black pants have black velvet flowers on them. They are so festive and perfect for the holidays.

Holiday Style with JCPenney I added a simple silver crystal bracelet to my outfit.

Beauty For The Heart~~Oh, thank God—he’s so good! His love never runs out. Psalm 107:1 (The Message)

Not only does this verse say to thank God but it reminds us that His love never runs out. I’m thankful for that today! He knows me and He still loves me. Amazing!!

FYI, He loves you too!!

Have a blessed day!

  1. Cyndi, I have been shopping at JC Penney’s for years because of their petite department. I love that you are now showing some of their clothes! I wish you and your a very Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year!

  2. Thank you Cindy. I am 52 and going through menopause, but you are showing me and others that we can still live a meaningful and God-filled life. You have inspired me to also lose weight. I love your fashion sense. God bless you! You are using your God given talent to inspire others.

  3. I need an outfit for an office holiday party as well as Christmas day….this outfit will be perfect! I’m going online to buy the sweater and coat now!!!! Thank you for putting together such amazing outfits. Hope you enjoy your Thanksgiving in your new home!!! xo, G.

  4. Happy to see the Jc Penney pieces featured in your blog. Bought the sweaters from yesterday this morning. Think the red sweater looks amazing!!! Thank you and hope your Thanksgiving is wonderful!!!

  5. Very cute and festive outfit from head to toe. So thrilled you are having Thanksgiving at your home and will enjoy your new dining room. God Bless!

  6. Hi Cindi, thanks so much for showing us some less expensive options lately. I have found that JC Penny has great quality for their price point and they often have additional coupons or specials available. I simply love this coat and ordered it immediately! I look forward to your emails each day. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

  7. Cyndi I just love this outfit! I think I’m going to order the top, pants and purse! I just can’t thank you enough for your outfit inspiration and most especially for keeping it affordable. You are a blessing!

  8. The frozen rolls you are asking about are “Rhodes” and they truly DO taste like homemade. I buy them at Walmart. Love your ootd today and also love how your new dining room turned out. Glad you get to host Thanksgiving at your house this year and hope Wayne’s mother continues getting better every day!

  9. Definitely try the Sister Schubert’s Parker House style rolls in the round pan! They are so easy and delicious that making them from scratch is not worth it anymore.

  10. Well i won’t be able to get Rhodes rolls as I’m in the UK. Nevermind, beautiful coat and isn’t great to think about festive red once more

  11. Cyndi the rolls that taste homemade are the frozen “Rhodes” rolls. You should be able to buy them at any local grocery store. I’ve bought mine at Safeway or Fred Meyer over here on the West Coast. Great post. You look so pretty. I’m glad you get to use your dining room and get to have Thanksgiving. I’m also glad you are excited. I’m excited I don’t have to host this year. Ha Ha

  12. I always buy Rhodes frozen rolls for holiday dinners. my family thinks I made them from scratch. I just bought mine yesterday at Walmart. They also sell them in the regular grocery stores in the freezer section close to the frozen potatoes. they will not disappoint!

  13. I just ordered everything in this post to wear to a Christmas party that I always struggle with not knowing what to wear! You are such a blessing to me! You have helped me more than you could ever know!

  14. Hey! YAY for Thanksgiving at your house!! What time shall we arrive??! LOL! OK, so on the frozen rolls- I LOVE the Sister Schubert’s Parker Style Yeast Rolls!!! SO GOOD!
I love picking up pieces at JCP, the price makes it so easy… but agree, you do have to sift some. Thankfully they also carry some brands like Levi’s for example, that are well known.
Oh and YES- so very thankful for the LOVE of Christ!! His overwhelming, never-ending ‘reckless’ Love of God!!! (Reckless in the world’s estimation, but oh so very intentional!!)
    Blessings!

  15. Love the outfit! Perfect for the holidays! Here in Canada Butterball does frozen stuffing that tastes just like homemade. I used two frozen rolls for an extra large casserole for our thanksgiving in October. So quick and easy for last minute. Have a wonderful dinner!

  16. This outfit looks so festive. It looks great on you. Just ordered the sweater. I always enjoy your BFTH. What a wonderful Savior. He is so good.

  17. This whole outfit is gorgeous. I particularly love the pants–so pretty with the velvet detail. Can’t help but smile at the sandals and the snow–what we will do for fashion!! As for the rolls, I think Sister Schuberts are kind of addictive–very, very good. Hope your Thanksgiving turns out to be a wonderful day–you deserve it, Cyndi.

  18. Your outfit is gorgeous! Thank you for styling fashion options at all price points! Sister Schubert’s dinner yeast rolls are delicious! Available in wheat or white and only takes about 10 minutes to bake straight from the freezer! I’ve found them at Kroger and even Walmart in the frozen bread section!

    1. The other nice thing about these dinner rolls is you don’t have be to bake the entire package. Take out what you need and keep the rest frozen in their resealable bag. No need to wait for them to rise either #bonus!

  19. I’ll second Sister Schuberts rolls. They are in the freezer cases of our grocery stores.
I saw a wonderful appetizer idea on FB the other day. You cut the rolls (the whole batch) horizontally and then put cranberry sauce and brie in the middle. Then you bake the rolls. Yum!

  20. I have not seen the Schuberts rolls in our area but they sound wonderful. We always use the frozen Rhodes rolls but holidays. You have to let them rise but they taste like homemade.

  21. Sister Schubert rolls can be found at any big chain grocery store. I don’t think Whole Foods has them. Kroger, Publix, etc. will have them. They will be in the freezer section.

  22. Cute Holiday Outfit! And that coat is gorgeous in the cream color but too bad it doesn’t come in petite sizes. So glad you are hosting Thanksgiving Dinner at your home and will get to enjoy your dinning room table again.

  23. I buy Rhodes dinner rolls and put two, back to back, in a muffin tin cup. Each bag has 36 rolls so I buy two bags and get 36 beautiful pull apart rolls. I have done this for years and always get rave reviews on my “homemade” rolls😉

    1. I have baked these for years and have never even considered putting 2 in muffin pan! I’m stealing this method also‼️ Michelle, thank you so much for sharing. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. 🙂

  24. I really like how you’ve been wearing your hair lately, it looks so pretty. How do you style it? Do you use a flat iron? Do you have to back comb it to get the volume on top? Just curious. 😊 Have a blessed day!

  25. Love this outfit…. I just bought a new black pea coat or this would have been a great option. I think I will look into this sweater and the one you posted the other day. We are having a snow fall right now, but suppose to change to rain… Have a great weekend and so glad you are going to host Thanksgiving…

  26. Your outfit is lovely as always! Thank you for sharing such beautiful and affordable looks! I do agree that Sister Schubert’s rolls are delicious, but if you want to actually buy frozen dough and let it rise and bake it yourself, Rhodes rolls are the way to go. Happy Thanksgiving!!! (I’m in His grip too!) Thank you Jesus!!!

  27. The rolls – Sister Shuberts yeast rolls are frozen and are delicious! They get me in trouble they’re so good :).
The red sweater looks so good on you – red is so your color Cyndi.
    BFTH -needed that today.

  28. Rhodes Dinner Rolls are just like homemade. They are packaged with 36 dough balls per bag. I find in bread freezer section at my local Walmart in SC.

  29. The rolls that you buy are called Mrs Schubert’s they are like homemade and taste like them too !! Have a Blessed Thanksgiving
