Burgundy Bell Sleeve Blouse-Holiday Fashion

Welcome to Day 14 of 20 Days of Winter Fashion! This past weekend we had Thanksgiving with my family, and I wore this gorgeous burgundy bell sleeve blouse.

It seemed burgundy was the color this year because several of us were wearing it. It’s such a pretty color, and I think it’s especially pretty around the holiday season.

Burgundy Bell Sleeve Blouse-Holiday FashionThis blouse has pretty bell sleeves. I paired it with jeans (my AG jeans are on sale), but it can be dressed up with black pants or even a leopard skirt. It was cold on Saturday night, so I wore this coat.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and my favorite one, Instagram.

Be sure to visit Jo-Lynne and see the winter outfit she’s styling today!

Beauty For The Heart~~Luke 7:47 (MSG) says, She was forgiven many, many sins, and so she is very, very grateful. If the forgiveness is minimal, the gratitude is minimal.

Someone needs to hear they haven’t committed that one sin, that God can’t forgive. We are all guilty, we’ve all felt shame but Christ can and will forgive us. He loves us, and he wants us to be free.

Free from the penalty of sin (Romans 6:23) and free from guilt. My prayer for you today is you will walk in freedom and share His love and grace with those around you.

Have a blessed day!

  1. My sisters, Mom, and a niece LOVE Black Friday shopping together! We will meet for breakfast at 6, donning festive scarves a sister made for us. We will shop til lunch and nearly finish. We have done this for.ev.er. Where we shop (KOhls, Target, JC Penney, Barnes and Noble, and lots of local stores) people are polite and accommodating and festive, and it kicks off the season perfectly.

  2. Cute top Cyndi! Love that picture of you and Wayne, so sweet! Random question.. your hair seems to have grown so much lately? Have you done anything special to make it grow?
Hope you and your family have a great thanksgiving!

  3. The burgundy is striking on you! I love the picture of you and Wayne! Such a blessing to love and be loved. Happy Thanksgiving!

  4. My favorite color on the blouse. Yes, my sisters-in-law and I have gone to the stores every Black Friday for the last 30 years or so. It is not so much about the shopping as being out and about together since we all live several states away from each other.

  5. Still do in store shopping but never never on Black Friday. I don’t care how great the sales! Don’t have the patience and don’t want the stress of it all.

  6. I love this outfit today and yes, the blouse is stunning. I am going to order it. The picture of you and Wayne is adorable – isn’t life wonderful? I feel so blessed to share your story. Have a very Happy Thanksgiving.
Oh, and I do not do the Friday store thing – ugh – if I shop, it will be online which by the way, I also find stressful.

  7. You look radiant! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and make sure to enjoy the day! You and Wayne are a striking couple and you look so happy! Blessings!

  8. I really like the blouse…so pretty. I’ll be braving the stores but just to spend time with my three daughters. It’s become a tradition that we all look forward to! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!

  9. Love the burgandy blouse and your Christmas picture. Black Friday traffic stresses me out, so I typically shop online to avoid the crowds. Last year I got a really great deal on Hunter boots at Nordstrom’s online. I will most likely check there again this year for the more expensive items I’ve had my eyes on. Happy Thanksgiving!!

  10. I love the delicate, feminine feel of your burgundy blouse. It would be perfect for Christmas parties paired with black skinny trousers or a skirt. Those boots are gorgeous!
A little kindness goes a long way. I wish more people would realize that a smile or a kind word can add a touch of happiness to a person’s day.
I shop mostly in store, especially for clothes. I don’t like the business of returns so like to try on for fit and feel material. I do shop online for electronics, etc.
That’s a sweet picture of you & Wayne. I love the little touch of your hands.

  11. How wonderful that you are calling church members and prospects. I bet this will be life changing for some! Happy Thanksgiving.

  12. really like that blouse-color, sleeves everything.
The encouragement calls you were part of sounds so loving. Not believing in coincidences, this so goes with the recording i lstened to this am from TTB J Vernon McGee “your tongue will not fall out of your mouth if you say something nice to someone”..Heard that one and a bit later read your blog about calling encouragement to fellow christians. !!

  13. LOVE :LOVE LOVE this tpo…I have always been a store shopper but since becoming a fan of yours I do a lot more online… but theres something about face to face interaction I still Love!
Great pic of you and Wayne Made my heart smile!!

  14. FABULOUS picture of you and Wayne! Our shopping is done. If we do any shopping over the next month, the gifts will be for 2019. Have a blessed day!

  15. I love the picture of you two in front of your home! One thing about burgundy is usually looks good on most skin coloring. It’s a good go to color for fall and winter for me. Black Friday shopping? I prefer the online sanity rather fighting congested crowds. Love your fashion styles! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!

  16. This is a great top to dress up or down. I’ve been trying to find some great burgundy sweaters to add to my wardrobe. This is a color I like to wear also. Love the pic of you and Wayne.

  17. Beautiful picture of you two! Very pretty top, I love burgundy!
I usually don’t go out to shop the stores on Black Friday, but I think I will be this year, going with a friend just for fun mainly! I bet though I make most of my actual purchases online! 😉
    Blessings!

  18. What a fabulous outfit… and you look fantastic in burgundy..and you just seem like the sweetest, most sincere woman. I often do this silly thing where I think of people I can’t wait to see i heaven and you are on that list. Chances are good that I won’t ever make it to Kentucky and get to meet you so the idea that I will have that opportunity in heaven is a fun thought. Thanks for blessing my life through this blog.

  19. You always look amazing! Love the picture of you and Wayne. Yes I plan on doing on line and in store black friday shopping. It is a tradition and so much fun!

  20. Thanks for showing us how to bling ourselves up a bit for the holidays! If we are in a happy spirit and feel good then we can pass that along to others that may need some cheerfulness in their lives! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and many prayers for your church members and folks all around the world. We are truly blessed.

  21. Up north of the border Sephora was having a 20% sale and I managed to get the Dyson hair dryer on sale – something I really wanted. I also got hair products on sale – Briogeo hair mask, shampoos and conditioning products because they are truly amazing!

Love your outfit – it looks amazing on you!

  22. This outfit is great on you! You and wayne are such a nice looking couple. That will make a lovely Christmas card. As for Black Friday shopping. My mom and I talked about it and she said”aint nothing out there I want that bad. So weshopping online. Pjs and turkey sandwiches for all. Cant wait

  23. A beautiful blouse and picture of you and Wayne. Our family photo for our Christmas cards is done we just need to pick one or two and have them made off. That’s next on my list. The house is decorated for Christmas my shopping is just about done. ( I will brave the stores for a few things) but may do a little on-line as well. The sales here have been on going it seems since the beginning of November. I just bought a top with the ruffle bell sleeve in the exact color you’re wearing and put it aside for the holidays. Hope you have a great day.

  24. I love burgundy this time of year too. The blouse looks much better on you than the model. Your Christmas cards will be great. Happy Thanksgiving!

  25. LOVE that blouse – simple and yet so pretty. Great pictures – of course they always are :).
I think my daughter and I may brave the stores – now, understand please that we aren’t looking for anything specific, we just enjoy doing this together. Probably more than you want to know, but after my mom died, and a year later I was divorced, there were many years it was just me and my daughter for Thanksgiving. We started going to a really nice restaurant for TG dinner and then we would spend the night going to all the BF sales and really just hanging out together. We’ve seen the sun rise many Fridays after TG and those have been some precious times together. She’s grown now, and married, so now it’s kind of a tradition just for the two of us to spend time together and we always have so much fun.
