Stylish Plaid Coat Outfit

Hello, weekend! I can’t believe how quickly this week has gone. We have a busy weekend but ’tis the season!

Yesterday I shared 10 Stylish Winter Coats to Keep You Warm, and today I’m sharing a stylish plaid coat. I would say this is a warm coat but more on the stylish side. It’s light enough that you can wear it like a cardigan, it’s also not lined.

Stylish Plaid Coat OutfitI had been eyeing this plaid coat online, and it recently came in my Trunk Box, so I decided to keep it, and I’m glad I did.

Stylish Plaid Coat OutfitI have black booties, but they are suede so I wanted a pair that I could wear when it’s raining without ruining them. These run true to size and are comfortable enough to wear all day.

Stylish Plaid Coat OutfitI’m wearing Vigoss Jeans that are on sale for $40. Sizes are going quickly.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and, Instagram.

Beauty For The Heart~~I think as you grow older your Christmas list gets shorter because the things you want can’t be bought.

  1. Cyndi, since this is the second time you’ve promoted a “dupe belt”, I want to urge you not to promote fake designer products. I’ve recently seen other fashion bloggers that I also respect promoting these fake Gucci and Hermes belts and it just does not sit well with me. I’ve always believed that if you want something pricey that you don’t want to pay full price for, you should try and find it secondhand so you can get it for less. You just need to know how to spot a fake, or deal with a reputable company like TheRealReal. There are many other reasons not to buy or wear counterfeit products, you should Google it and you may be surprised. I hope you will reconsider showcasing these on your blog because I respect you and would like to continue to follow your blog.

    1. Brenda, I did not know that this was a problem I have read arguments on both sides. I’m still not sure I understand the whole issue.

If it was illegal would Amazon sell it?

Anyway, sorry I offended you it was not intentional at all.

      1. I appreciate your honest reply. I did not say it was illegal, I don’t know the law on this, it just doesn’t feel right to me. You can certainly do whatever you feel comfortable with and I will do the same. I see no advantages to it personally. The rest of your outfit is lovely as usual! Thanks.

  2. Actually instead of Gucci “dupe” ….call
it what it is…counterfeit. It’s a GREAT counterfeit, but it’s still a copyrighted brand piracy. Even though they’re not selling it as “Gucci”, let’s face it…ya wouldn’t be wearing it if the letters weren’t GG.

  3. I love the bright colors of the coat against the dark sweater and dark jeans. A great pop; you look super! And your BFTH- so true!

  4. That is sooo cute! You look fabulous. I would have passed it by on a sales rack, but you make it come to life. Thanks!

  5. The Gucci belt is a good price. You’d never pay $30 at the actual store. Maybe discontinued from GuCCi Inc and that’s how amazon got a hold of it? It’s no longer available.

  6. I love everything about this outfit, well except the booties. I wish I could wear them😉 You always look fantastic in everything, but sometimes an outfit just says WOW!! This does to me! Simple but striking!

  7. Love this outfit. I am going to the link for the belt and there is a big warning not to order. I checked the other day too when you featured it and same thing.

  8. Cyndi,
I’m fairly new to your blog and I love your posts! You always look wonderful and exactly my style. I’vd been buying up a storm, lol. I tried to use the link today for the faux Gucci belt but there is a warning about it being a scam. Just wondering if you saw that same thing when you ordered?
I also love your inspirational messages. Thank you for what you do!

  9. A coatigan is such a handy item to have in your wardrobe. More so with the weather we are experiencing. Looks lovely and cheerful.

  10. Thank you for clarifying that you added an infinity scarf. At first glance, I thought it was a cowl neck sweater too. It really makes the outfit.

  11. That link doesn’t look like the cowl neck you are wearing…can you provide another link or who makes the sweater? Thanks!

    1. Michelle, I’m not wearing a cowl neck. I’m wearing a black sweater and I linked the exact one I’m wearing. I added the black infinity scarf from Old Navy and it’s sold out so I linked a similar one from Old Navy,
      I hope that makes sense!

  12. Love everything about this.. Thanks for reminding me to go outside the box and it’s ok not to look like everyone else when your out. ( I prefer to stand out a little bit lol) I have a coat very similar in plain grey but I love the plaid.
Have a great weekend we’ve got a busy one planned too but like you said tis the season.
