What I Wore-Weekend Fashion

Happy Monday ladies! I can’t believe it’s the final week before Christmas. We have lots of things going on over the next week plus I still have some Christmas shopping to do. Let the madness begin!

Today I’m sharing a little glimpse into our weekend and what I wore. It was filled with friends and family which is my kind of weekend.

First, we headed out Saturday night to celebrate one of my dearest friends 50th birthday. It was a surprise party, and she was definitely surprised!

I recently got a Trendsend box from Evereve in the mail, and both my sweater and jeans were in the box. I shared about Evereve with you last week. The prices are higher but I have to say the quality is amazing and I love the outfit.

We took this next picture with my iPhone, and the quality isn’t great, but I treasure the picture because I love these people. Lydia and Monty have been our friends for years, and Lydia is the one we were celebrating.

What I Wore-Weekend FashionYesterday after church, we ate lunch at our house like we do every Sunday and then we headed out to see Santa Claus. I snapped some pictures before we left.

Colt is now seven years old, and that’s hard to believe! I was blogging before he was born. What??!

What I Wore-Weekend FashionClaire’s one-piece romper is from an upscale boutique here in Lexington. Courtney likes for her to wear anything with smocking, the brand is Velani Classics.

What I Wore-Weekend FashionClaire is the most smiling baby unless she doesn’t want to and then she gives you that look like “you’re annoying me.”

What I Wore-Weekend Fashion What I Wore-Weekend FashionColt can almost always get Claire to smile. He is so in love with his sister, and he wants to love on her all the time.

What I Wore-Weekend FashionAfter we visited with Santa Claus, we headed back to church for a children’s program. It was so much fun!

What I Wore-Weekend FashionAfter church, we went to dinner with some friends but by that time I was too worn out to get any pictures. Haha!

That’s a wrap! I have to say by the time we got home last night I was exhausted, but I was thankful for a wonderful weekend.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to stop by my blog. I’m also on FacebookPinterest, and, Instagram.

  1. You have a gorgeous spirit and family! You are beautiful and I love your blog. You are a blessing to so many women and people! God bless and keep doing what you are doing!! Merry Christmas 😄🎄🎅🏻

  2. I love an all black outfit with statement accessories! Always looks classy and appropriate for just about any occasion.
Your grandkids are SO cute, Cyndi! That little Claire looks like a porcelain doll!

  3. Cyndi, Evereve is a store I wasn’t familiar with until you told us about them last week. I bought the navy and red window pane sweater that was on sale. I love it! I wore it to church yesterday with navy skinny pants, and white button down. I was thankful the weather cooperated because it was a piece that I was excited to wear. The quality is amazing. My daughter has already asked to borrow it for a upcoming trip. I was also surprised at how fast the sweater was sent to me.
I love that picture of you and Colt. He is smiling at you with his eyes!

  4. I have been following you from cincinnati and encouraged a lot of my friends from Tennessee & family from all across the country to follow you as well. You are truly an inspiration and I not only love your fashion sense but love your “beauty from the heart” inspirational quotes and Bible
passages. Your goodness and light shine through your photos of yourself and your family. Congratulations on your new Bible study class and continue to shine your light on our world. Btw my husband and I enjoy the Windy Corner Market in Lexington..such a lovely little spot in the horse country!! God bless!

    1. Jennifer thank you so much for your sweet comment!! And thank you for sharing my blog.
Oh my goodness, Windy Corner Market is awesome!
      Merry Christmas!

  5. Ok I love both your outfits,,, and that store is one I wish we had as its the kind of store my husband would visit at Christmas for his shopping. Unlike me he visits the boutiques that carry only a few pieces so you don’t see yourself coming… I love him for that…and he knows exactly what to pick and I would never go and get it for myself… I like how you wore all black and it still looked good without any additional color. The grand kids look adorable, and that outfit on Clair. How sweet:) It is a very busy time of year. Thank you for keeping us in mind during these busy days. So exciting that you’ll be doing a study in the new year. Wish I lived close enough for that.

  6. Thank you for sharing your family and friends photos. I loved your outfits and Wayne and the Kiddos too. Unfortunately, most of your clothes this post were way out of my price range which you mentioned. The cranberry sweater with the cowl neck was shown as an off the shoulder when I went to look at it. Not sure how you made it into a cowl collar. So cute though.

  7. What beautiful grandchildren! I can tell they bring you much joy. You are truly blessed. I look forward to reading your blog everyday especially your beauty for the heart. You inspire us to not only look our best on the outside but to be godly women. Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas

  8. Hi, Cyndi,
Just curious, I can’t tell in the pics if your jeans are in your booties or over them. This has been a dilemma for me and I was curious what you are doing. Thanks!

  9. Love this post… so fun to see pictures of your life and your grandchildren and your fabulous outfits. Hope you have a week full of strength and joy. Xo

  10. I was so busy looking at the beautiful pictures of the kids, I had to scroll back up to see what you were wearing!

    Thank you for sharing!

  11. Another adorable outfit. Would you please share where to purchase the belt? A Merry Christmas to you and yours.

  12. So happy to see that I’m not the only one that still has things to accomplish this week! Love that you are going to be leading a Ladies bible study. How I wish I lived near you! I’m sure you’ll inspire all the lucky ladies in your group! Love the color of that sweater and today’s BFTH. Merry Christmas, Cyndi!

  13. I wish I lived there I’d be in your bible study. Looking forward to hearing what you’ll be teaching. The kids are adorable!
