Holiday Outfit with JCPenney

I’m teaming up today with JCPenney to share a holiday outfit. JCPenney is a one-stop shopping destination with stylish and affordable fashion.

In November I shared this outfit from JCPenney, and I wore this pretty coat. The black color is sold out, but they still have gray, navy and an off-white color.

Today I’m wearing a comfortable sweater dress that is on sale for under $30.

Holiday Outfit with JCPenneyI absolutely love the sleeve detail on this dress! I also added a cute and unique clutch that is under $30.

Beauty For The Heart~~Dearest God, please never let me crowd my life full to the brim. So like the keeper of Bethlehem’s inn, I find I have no room for Him. Instead, let my heart’s door be ever open, ready to welcome the newborn King. Let me offer the best I have, to Him who gives me everything. -Rosalyn Hart Finch

Have a blessed day!

  1. I love that dress on you. I think I found my mother of the bride dress at JCPenney today. It was on sale and I had a $10 reward. I need to see what my daughter thinks of it. They are getting married in June.

  2. Cyndi, I’ve said this before, but you look SO good in red!
I am finished with gift shopping, but now I have to wrap all that stuff! Whew!
I hope you can get a little rest before Christmas!

  3. Do you find that tights look better than hose? Hose usually snag so easily and get runs. Also, are the tights warmer? I shy away from dresses in the winter because I need warmth from pants.

    1. Sheila, I don’t know if you meant this question only for Cyndi, so I hope you don’t mind if I answer: the ONLY way I wear dresses in winter is with tights or boots. I need to have warm legs! Tights are so much nicer now than they used to be, and you can get them with silky finishes. I only wear dark colored tights though. (Black, navy, dark green, brown.) I feel a like bright colors or obvious patterns are for below 50s gals. But that’s just me!

    2. Sheila, I discovered fleece lined leggings to wear with dresses/skirts in the winter. They come in different colors and textures; I have black, gray, and off white with a cable texture. You can also add warm over-the-knee socks in colors to match the leggings for added warmth. Add boots and you’ll be cute and warm in a dress when it’s cold.

  4. I have the exact little purse, I saw it on one of your other posts a few weeks back and so I ordered it, I love it, it’s just adorable. Also, love the red dress <3

  5. Love this dress and so glad you styled it as I was looking at it on line and wondered how it fit… I’m a fan of those sleeves. Colt will no doubt love that gift… How much fun he’s going to have. I have all my shopping, wrapping and baking done. I’ve not stopped much over the last few months so now its time to focus on the Christmas dinner I’ll be hosting and just enjoy this wonderful season with family and friends as we celebrate Jesus birth. Hope you get some down time soon:)
    Blessings
